Safety Precautions

Operation Panel
Connecting Plate
This plate is used to connect
collator and SPF-9.
SPF-9 Position Adjust Handle
This handle is used to move SPF-9
forward or backward according to sheet
size.
Head Stopper Adjust Handle (Folding)
This handle is used to adjust head stopper
position for stapling and folding job. Set it at
B4 for side stapling and corner stapling.
End Stopper Adjust Handle
(Stapling)
This handle is used to adjust
stopper position for sheet end.

Jog Position Indicator
This indicator indicates size of
collated sheets.
Top Cover
Head Stopper Position Indicator
This indicator indicates head stopper
position.
Support Roller
This roller is used for stapling and
folding of A4, side stapling of A4 and
side stapling of B5.
Bridge
This bridge is installed
ejecting side of collator.
Sheet Width Indicator
This indicator indicates width
of collated sheets.
Staple Section
Staple unit is installed inside of
this section.
Jog Guide (Operation Side)
This guide jogs sheets from
operation side.

Jog Button
This button is used to jog sheets
with head stopper end stopper,
and two jog guides (operation and
drive side).
Eject Button
This button is used to eject sheets
staying in SPF-9. When sheets are
at fold section, sheets are folded
and ejected by pressing this button.
Clear Button
This button is used to reset
counter at zero.
Trouble Monitor
No Staple Lamp
ON : Out of Staples
Flash : Staple cartridge is not properly
set.
Cover Lamp : Top cover or deliver
guide is open.
Collator Lamp : Collator has some feed
errors.
Sheet Jam Lamp : Sheet Jam occurs at jog
section or eject section.
Operation Mode Select Button
This button is used to select operation mode; stapling
& folding, folding, side stapling, corner stapling, side
stapling & folding or corner stapling & folding. In
side-stapling & folding mode, both side staple and
folding lamps illuminate. In corner stapling & fold-
ing mode, both corner staple and folding lamps
illuminate.
Function Mode Select Button
This button is used to select function mode; automatic
mode, hand feed mode and set up mode.

This knob must be loosen to remove
transport unit.

This button is used to operate
upper knife single trim action
when knife is locked and stopped
on trimming sheets. Knife will
stop at upper position.
Full Trimming Lamp
This lamp illuminates when trimming box
is full.
Trimming Box Lamp
This lamp illuminates when trimming
box is not firmly closed.
Jam Lamp
This lamp illuminates when books
are not delivered after trim.
Top Cover Lamp
This lamp illuminates when top cover is
open.
Knife Lock Lamp
