1. Important notice
1.1 General
· Please read the installation and user manual thoroughly and follow the instructions before installing the combustion control.
· Please read the Installation and user manual thoroughly and follow the instructions before using electronic display.
· Installation and set-up of HOS combustion system can only be carried out by a specialist or authorised chimney sweeper.
· The prerequisite for the proper function of HOS is the correct installation and proper functionality of all its subcomponents.
· Not complying with the Installation and user manual leads to a loss of warranty.
· Any end-user changes of HOS combustion system are not allowed.
· The handover certificate must be filled in together with the end user. This report shall be made up in two copies, one copy for each
interested subject. The handover certificate informs about the settings made to the particular unit.
· The handover certificate is at the end of this manual.
· The handover certificate should be provided to an authorised chimney sweeper upon request.
· The device requires a check of proper functionality once a month. This user-check is described in chapter 8.6 Functionality
test.
· The HOS combustion control has been tested in TÜV SÜD laboratories and has been approved for the German market by the
technical authority DIBt – Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik.
1.2 Danger due to lack of combustion air or defective gas flue
Always provide a sufficient amount of combustion air for the safe operation of the fireplace..
During the operation, all applicable local laws and regulations must be followed. Furthermore, it must also be in accordance
with the local building regulations.
In case of warranty claim, it is necessary to provide a valid handover certificate.
