5. Setting up your webcam
5.1 Place your webcam w600
Designed for the way you like to make a video call, place the webcam where you want
it—on the monitor or the desktop.
5.1.1 Grasp the webcam as shown and open clip base
with your other hand. Mount the webcam, making sure
the foot on the clip base is flush with the back of your
monitor.
5.1.2 Plug USB connector into USB port of your
computer or laptop. Wait for about 1 minute, webcam
will install automatically.
5.2 Set up desired microphone
Once the webcam is plugged into computer, the computer OS will pick up Webcam’s
microphone as sound input. If not, please follow below steps to set up microphone.
5.2.1 Double click the control panel and select “Hardware and Sound”.

5.2.2 Choose” Manage audio devices”, then click spread sheet
“Recording” and choose w600 to be desired microphone.
5.3 Getting start with video calling
To take advantage of video calling, both you and the person you call must install
video-calling application such as SkypeTM, Yahoo! @Messenger, Windows Live@
Messenger or Gmail. As well as a USB camera and video calling application, both
callers need:
• A computer with speaker (or a headset).
• A broadband internet connection (e.g., DSL, T1, or cable). Please check your
preferred video calling application requirements. (Requirements may vary between
different applications but usually a minimum of 2Mbps upload speed is required).
5.4 Use WR1
Please face and hold the back side of WR1 (the label side). You can see the
object/wording displayed correctly on the monitor screen. If you use a tripod, please
install the button side up. Always let the button side of WR1 up or face toward when
use WR1.
*Note: If the object/wording is up-side down on monitor screen, please turn the
direction of WR1.
*Note: Some social communication apps will change to mirror image on the screen.

5.4.1 Picture in Picture
The picture-in-picture function helps you to display the auxiliary objectives with you
at the same time. Follow up the steps below to execute this excellent feature.
(1) Connect WR1 and w600 with provided USB cable first.
(2) Plug w600 into USB port of your computer.
(3) Start up your video call.
(4) Your screen will be shown as below image. The w600 is displayed as main
image(1st ) while WR1 is displayed on the corner side(2nd ).
(5) Press the button on WR1 to switch the screen display of w600 and WR1.
*Note: The picture-in-picture display differs from various of video calling software.
5.4.2 Macro
WR1 is useful to shot the objective in near distance. Simply adjust the focus ring of
WR1 until the objective clearly showed on screen.

6. Intelligent noise reduce mode
In case you are in noisy environment and you want
your speech to be heard clearly, you can switch
Conference Mode or Private Mode. If you don’t need
noise reduce effect and want to keep the surrounding
sound as it is, you can switch to Normal Mode.
6.1 Conference Mode
When group chat up to 2 ~3 people or more, use this mode to suppress noises. It’s
particularly effective in the conference room. It can capture the human being’s voice
from distance of webcam to 3~4 meters, and suppress unnecessary noises.

6.2 Private Mode
With private mode is on, please keep the distance between you and webcam around
within 60cm~90cm, it will only pick up voice and sound in the specific direction, and
filter out background noise through the intelligent tech, especially it will block out the
talking or noise of your right and left both sides, only remaining you a crystal clear
voice during the video call.
6.3 Normal Mode
In the normal mode, all voices and sounds will be picked up.
