Thank you for choosing HQPOWER! Your moving head should come in a flight case and with a 575W Sylvania light
bulb, an XLR connexion cable, a safety cable with quick-lock hook and this manual. Please read the manual thoroughly
before bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your
dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
•A qualified technician should install and service this device.
•Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device
against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
•This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have a qualified
person carry out the electric connection.
•Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
•Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.
•Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
•There may be some smoke or a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This is normal and
any smoke or smell will gradually disappear.
•Do not look directly at the light source as sensitive people may go into epileptic seizure if they do.
•Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
•Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
3. General Guidelines
•This device is designed for professional use on stage, in discos, theatres, etc. The VDP575MHS20FL should only
be used indoors and connected to an alternating current of max. 230VAC / 50Hz.
•Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation: regular operation breaks will prolong their lives.
•Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
•Select a location where the device is protected against extreme heat (see “Technical Specifications”), dust and
moisture. Respect a minimum distance of 0.5m between the device’s light output and any illuminated surface.
Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.
Do not touch the device during operation as the housing heats up.
Keep this device away from rain and moisture.
Unplug the mains lead before opening the housing.

•Use an appropriate safety cable to fix the device (e.g. VDLSC8).
•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified
people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.
•Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,
crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
4. Installation
a. Lamps
•Only fit or replace a lamp when the device is unplugged from the mains.
•Let a lamp cool down before replacing it as the temperature of a lamp can reach 700°C during operation.
•When handling a halogen lamp, do not touch it with your bare hands. Use a cloth to insert or remove it.
•Do not install lamps with a higher wattage than what this device was designed for.
•Replace any deformed or damaged lamp with a lamp of the same
type (see “Technical Specifications”):
1. Open the top cover of the rear panel by unscrewing the 3 screws
marked X, Y and Z.
2. Remove the old lamp from the socket and insert the new one
tightly into the socket.
3. Adjust the lamp holder (1 ~ 1.5mm from the lens) by fine-tuning
the 3 screws marked A, B and C to get maximum light output.
4. Close the lamp compartment.
b. Lamp Adjustment
The AERON 575S lamp holder is aligned at the factory. Due to differences between lamps, fine adjustment
may improve light performance. Strike the lamp, open the shutter and the iris. Set the dimmer intensity to
100% and focus the light on a flat surface. Centre a hot spot (the brightest part of the image) by using the 3
adjustment screws “A, B, C”. Turn one screw after another a quarter-turn clockwise or counter-clockwise .If
you cannot detect the hot spot adjust the lamp until the light is evenly distributed.
c. Adjusting the Beam Angle
The lens system can be configured in the range between 8° and 22°. To set the desired beam angle, loose the
2 adjusting screws on the lens unit and adjust the required beam angle. Tighten the adjusting screws again
and fix back the front cover.
d. Inserting / Exchanging Gobos
•Turn off the projector and let it cool down
for 10 minutes. Disconnect the device
from the mains.
•Open the top covers on the moving head
by unscrewing the screws.
•Press the borders of the fixation rings
and remove. Remove the gobo and insert
a new one. Insert the fixation ring in front
of the new gobo.
•Close the compartment.

e. Mounting the Device
•Have the device installed by a qualified person, respecting EN 60598-2-17 and all other applicable norms.
•The carrying construction must be able to support 10 times the weight of the device for 1 hour without
deforming.
•The installation must always be secured with a secondary attachment e.g. a safety cable.
•Never stand directly below the device when it is being mounted, removed or serviced. Have a qualified
technician check the device once a year and once before you bring it into service.
•Install the device in a location with few passers-by that is inaccessible to unauthorised persons.
•Overhead mounting requires extensive experience: calculating workload limits, determining the installation
material to be used… Have the material and the device itself checked regularly. Do not attempt to install
the device yourself if you lack these qualifications as improper installation may result in injuries.
•Adjust the desired inclination angle via the mounting bracket and tighten the bracket screws.
•Make sure there is no flammable material within a 0.5m radius of the device.
•Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
•Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. Do not connect it to a dimming pack.
•The installation has to be approved by an expert before the device is taken into service.

•Only fit or replace a fuse when the device is unplugged from the mains.
•If the lamp burns out, chances are you will need to replace the fuse as well.
•Replace a blown fuse with a fuse of the same type and rating (see “Technical Specifications”):
1. Remove the fuse holder on the rear panel of the device.
2. Remove the old fuse and install a new one.
3. Replace the fuse holder.

Connect the provided XLR cable to the female 3-pin XLR output of your controller and the other side to the male 3-
pin XLR input of the VDP575MHS20FL. Multiple VDP575MHS20FLs can be linked through serial linking. The linking
cable should be a two-core screened cable with XLR input and output connectors.
d. DMX512 Chain with Termination
A DMX terminator is recommended for installations where the DMX cable has to run a
long distance or is in an electrically noisy environment (e.g. discos). The terminator
prevents corruption of the digital control signal by electrical noise. The DMX terminator is
simply an XLR plug with a 120Ωresistor between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into
the XLR output socket of the last device in the chain.

f. Projector Start Address Selection
All DMX-controlled devices need a digital start address so that the correct device responds to the signals. This start
address is the channel number from which the device starts to “listen” to the DMX controller. Enter the correct
number and read it from the display located on the base of the VDP575MHS20FL.
You can use the same starting address for a whole group of devices or enter an individual one for every device.
When all devices have the same address, all the VDP575MHS20FLs will “listen” to the control signal on one
particular channel. In other words: changing the settings of one channel will affect all devices simultaneously. If you
set different addresses, each device will “listen” to a separate channel number. Changing the settings of one channel
will only affect the device in question.
In the case of the 20-channel VDP575MHS20FL, you will have to set the start address of the first VDP575MHS20FL
to 1, the second VDP575MHS20FL to 21 (1 + 20), the third to 41 (21 + 20) and so on.
g. Control Panel
Access the main menu by pressing the wheel. Browse through the menu by turning the wheel. Press the
wheel to enter a submenu.
RSLTN: 8-bit or 16-bit movement resolution
Tilt rev: reverse vertical movement
Pan rev: reverse horizontal movement
DMX addr: DMX address between 1 and 492
Exit: exit the selected option
Reset: reset the device
Lamp: lamp on / off control
h. Main Functions
•DMX512 Address Settings: Enter DMX addr and select the desired address code using the wheel. Press
the wheel to confirm and exit the menu.
•Pan Reverse: Enter Pan rev to invert the pan movement. Select YES or NO. Press the wheel to confirm
and exit the menu.
•Tilt Reverse: Enter Tilt rev to invert the tilt movement. Select YES or NO. Press the wheel to confirm and
exit the menu.
•Movement Resolution: Enter RSLTN to select the 8-bit or 16-bit movement resolution using the wheel.
Press the wheel to confirm and exit the menu. The 16-bit movement resolution will occupy 16 DMX
channels; the 8-bit movement resolution will occupy 14 DMX channels. Refer to the DMX protocol
section in this manual.
•Lamp on / off: Lamp control via the menu.
•Reset Function: Enter Reset and press the wheel to reset all the settings to the standard settings.
i. Remotely Controllable Functions
•Lamp: The lamp can be switched on and off via a DMX controller without affecting the rest of the lighting.
Note that the lamp is not a hot-restrike type. Please wait for approximately 10 minutes after having
switched off the device before turning it back on.
•Colour Wheels: The AERON 575S is equipped with two 10-position colour wheels – 9 of these are with
dichroic colours and the last one is open. The primary colour can be positioned between 2 adjacent

colours in any position. The primary colour wheel can be rotated continuously at different speeds. Hot
and cold colour temperature filters (3200K and 6000K) are situated onto the secondary wheel. The
colour macro function allows you to obtain 64 different colours.
•Static Gobo Wheel: This wheel has 9 gobos and an open position. All gobos are interchangeable. The
gobos have an outside diameter of 27mm and an image diameter of 23mm. The gobo wheel rotation
speed can be adjusted. Furthermore, it features a gobo shake function.
•Rotating Gobo Wheel: The rotating gobo wheel features 4 metal gobos, 2 glass gobos rotating in both
directions. All gobos are interchangeable.
•3-Facet Prism: The 3-facet prism rotates in both directions at different speeds, controllable via 16 prism-
gobo macros.
•Iris: Motorized iris for different beam sizes.
•Multi-Step Zoom: The motorized focus enables you to focus the beam at an angle of 15°, 18° or 22°.
•Focus: Motorized focus enabling you to focus the beam.
•Dimmer / Shutter / Strobe: Dimmer / shutter allowing 0 ~ 100% smooth dimming. This unit can also be
used for strobe effects (1 ~ 10 flashes / sec).
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing)
should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not
change the location of the connections.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
7. There are no user-serviceable parts apart from the lamp and fuse.
8. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel beschadigd tijdens het transport, installeer
het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal
de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus.
•Om beschadiging te vermijden, zet u het toestel best niet aan onmiddellijk nadat het werd blootgesteld aan
temperatuurschommelingen. Wacht tot het toestel op kamertemperatuur gekomen is.
•Dit toestel valt onder beschermingsklasse I, wat wil zeggen dat het toestel geaard moet zijn. Een geschoolde
technicus moet de elektrische aansluiting verzorgen.
•De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning in de specificaties achteraan de handleiding.
•De voedingskabel mag niet omgeplooid of beschadigd zijn. Laat uw dealer zo nodig een nieuwe kabel plaatsen.

•Wanneer u het toestel voor het eerst gebruikt, kan dit gepaard gaan met een lichte rookontwikkeling en een
bepaalde geur. Dit is normaal en de eventuele rook of geur zal geleidelijk aan verdwijnen.
•Kijk niet rechtstreeks in de lichtbron. De lichtbron kan bij gevoelige mensen leiden tot een aanval van epilepsie.
•Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel vallen niet onder de garantie.
•Houd dit toestel uit de buurt van kinderen en onbevoegden.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
•Dit toestel is ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik op podia, in disco's, enz. U mag dit toestel enkel binnenshuis
gebruiken en aansluiten op een wisselspanning van maximum 230VAC / 50Hz.
•Lichteffecten zijn niet ontworpen voor continue werking: regelmatige onderbrekingen doen ze langer meegaan.
•Schud het toestel niet dooreen. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de installatie en de bediening van dit toestel.
Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan om dodelijke elektroshocks
te vermijden.
Raak het toestel niet aan wanneer het in gebruik is: de behuizing wordt warm.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en vochtigheid.
Verzeker u ervan dat het toestel niet aangesloten is op een stroombron alvorens het te openen.

•Installeer het toestel weg van extreme temperaturen (zie “Technische specificaties”), vochtigheid en stof. Zorg
voor een minimumafstand van 0.5m tussen de lichtuitgang van het toestel en het belichte oppervlak.
•Maak het toestel vast met een geschikte veiligheidskabel (bv. VDLSC8).
•Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen mogen dit
toestel niet gebruiken. Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik.
•Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking wanneer u het toestel vervoert.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag de gebruiker geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen,
brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
4. Installatie
a. Lampen
•Plaats of vervang een lamp enkel wanneer het toestel niet is aangesloten op het lichtnet.
•Laat een lamp afkoelen voor u ze vervangt: de bedrijfstemperatuur van een lamp ligt rond de 700°C.
•Raak een halogeenlamp niet aan met uw blote handen. Gebruik een doek om een halogeenlamp te
vervangen.
•Plaats geen lampen met een te hoog wattage. Deze worden warmer dan die waarop dit toestel is voorzien.
•Vervang een vervormde of beschadigde lamp door een lamp van hetzelfde type (zie “Technische
specificaties”). Ga als volgt te werk:
1. Open de dekplaat op het achterste paneel door de 3 schroeven X,
Y en Z los te schroeven.
2. Verwijder de oude lamp en plaats een nieuwe.
3. Regel de fitting (1 ~ 1.5mm van de lens) met behulp van
schroeven A, B en C om een optimale lichtuitgang te verkrijgen.
4. Sluit de dekplaat.
b. De lamp regelen
De lamphouder van de AERON 575S werd afgesteld geleverd. Door de kleine verschillen tussen de lampen
kan een precieze regeling de kwaliteit nog verhogen. Schakel de lamp aan en open de sluiter en de iris. Stel
de intensiteit van de dimmer op 100% en richt de straal op een vlakke oppervlakte. Centreer de straal (het
helderste gedeelte van het beeld) aan de hand van de 3 schroeven “A, B, C”. Draai elke schroef een

gelijk wordt verdeeld.
c. De stralingshoek bijregelen
De lens kan worden geregeld in een hoek van 8° en 22°. Maak daarvoor de 2 schroeven los op de
lenseenheid en regel de hoek. Span de schroeven opnieuw aan en sluit het deksel.
d. Gobo’s plaatsen / verwisselen
•Schakel de projector uit en laat hem minstens 10 minuten afkoelen. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
•Open de dekplaat bovenaan de moving
head door de 2 schroeven los te draaien.
•Verwijder de bevestigingsring met het
gepaste gereedschap. Verwijder de gobo
en plaats een nieuwe. Druk op de
bevestigingsring en plaats hem voor de
gobo.
•Sluit het compartiment.

e. Het toestel monteren
•Laat een geschoolde technicus dit toestel installeren conform EN 60598-2-17 en andere toepasselijke
normen.
•De constructie waaraan het toestel wordt bevestigd, moet gedurende 1 uur 10 x het gewicht van dit toestel
kunnen dragen zonder te vervormen.
•Maak het toestel ook vast met een veiligheidskabel.
•Sta nooit recht onder het toestel wanneer u het monteert, verwijdert of schoonveegt. Laat het toestel
controleren door een geschoolde technicus voor u het in gebruik neemt en laat het 1 x per jaar volledig
nakijken.
•Installeer dit toestel op een plaats waar niemand langs moet lopen, kan neerzitten of het toestel kan
aanraken.
•Een degelijke praktijkervaring is vereist voor de plaatsing van dit toestel. U moet de maximumbelasting van
de draagconstructie kunnen berekenen, weten welk constructiemateriaal u kunt gebruiken en u moet het
gebruikte materiaal en het toestel af en toe laten nakijken. Monteer het toestel niet zelf indien u er geen
ervaring mee heeft. Een slechte montage kan leiden tot verwondingen.
•Regel de gewenste invalshoek door middel van de montagebeugel en draai de regelschroeven stevig aan.
•Verwijder alle brandbaar materiaal in een straal van 0.5m rond het toestel.
•Een geschoolde elektricien moet het toestel aansluiten.
•Sluit het toestel via de stekker aan op het lichtnet. Sluit het niet aan op een dimmerpack.
•De installatie moet voor het eerste gebruik gekeurd worden door een expert.

•U mag een zekering enkel plaatsen of vervangen wanneer het toestel niet is aangesloten op het lichtnet.
•Als de lamp springt, is het heel goed mogelijk dat de zekering ook moet worden vervangen.
•Vervang een gesprongen zekering door een zekering van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde specificaties (zie
“Technische specificaties”). Ga als volgt te werk:
1. Verwijder de zekeringhouder achteraan het toestel.
2. Verwijder de oude zekering en breng de nieuwe in.
3. Plaats de zekeringhouder weer in de behuizing.

c. DMX512-aansluiting
Sluit de meegeleverde XLR-kabel aan de vrouwelijke 3-pin XLR-uitgang van de controller en de andere kant van de
mannelijke 3-pin XLR-ingang van de VDP575MHS20FL. U kunt verscheidene VDP575MHS20FL’s aan elkaar
koppelen met behulp van een seriële koppeling. Gebruik daarvoor een 2-aderige afgeschermde kabel met XLR
ingang- en uitgangsaansluitingen.
d. DMX512-keten met eindweerstand
Een DMX eindweerstand is aanbevolen als de DMX-kabel vrij lang is of wordt gebruikt in
een omgeving met veel elektrische ruis (bv. een discotheek). De eindweerstand voorkomt
corruptie van het digitale controlesignaal door elektrische ruis. De DMX eindweerstand is
niets meer dan een XLR-stekker met een weerstand van 120Ωvan pin 2 naar 3. Deze
XLR-stekker wordt dan aangesloten op de XLR-uitgang van het laatste toestel in de reeks.

f. Startadres van de projector
Alle DMX-gestuurde toestellen hebben een digitaal startadres nodig, zodat het juiste toestel reageert op de signalen.
Dit digitale startadres is het kanaalnummer van waarop het toestel “luistert” naar het signaal van de DMX controller.
Geef het correcte nummer in en lees het af op de display onderaan uw VDP575MHS20FL.
U kunt één enkel startadres gebruiken voor een groep toestellen of u kunt per toestel een nieuw startadres ingeven.
Wanneer u één enkel startadres instelt, zullen alle toestellen “luisteren” naar hetzelfde kanaal. Met andere woorden:
wanneer u de instellingen voor 1 kanaal verandert, zullen alle toestellen er tegelijk op reageren.
Wanneer u verschillende adressen instelt, dan luistert elk toestel naar een ander kanaal. Met andere woorden:
wanneer u de instellingen van een kanaal verandert, zal enkel het toestel op dat kanaal reageren.
In het geval van de 20-kanaals VDP575MHS20FL, zult u het startadres van het eerste toestel op 1 moeten instellen,
van het tweede toestel op 21 (1 + 20), van het derde op 41 (21 + 20) enz.
g. Bedieningspaneel
Geef het menu weer door op het wiel te drukken. Blader door dit menu door aan het wiel te draaien. Geef het
submenu weer door op het wiel te drukken.
RSLTN: 8-bits of 16-bits resolutie

h. Belangrijkste functies
•Instellen van het DMX512-adres: Selecteer DMX addr. Selecteer het gewenste adres met het wiel. Druk
op het wiel om te bevestigen en om het menu te verlaten.
•Omgekeerde panbeweging: Selecteer Pan rev. Selecteer YES of NO. Druk op het wiel om te bevestigen
en om het menu te verlaten.
•Omgekeerde tiltbeweging: Selecteer Tilt rev. Selecteer YES of NO. Druk op het wiel om te bevestigen en
om het menu te verlaten.
•Resolutie: Selecteer RSLTN en kies voor de 8-bits of 16-bits resolutie met het wiel. Druk op het wiel om te
bevestigen en om het menu te verlaten. De 16-bits resolutie neemt 16 kanalen in beslag terwijl de 8-bits
resolutie 14 kanalen in beslag neemt. Raadpleeg de paragrafen over het DMX-protocol.
•Lamp aan / uit: In- of uitschakelen van de lamp via het menu.
•Resetten: Selecteer Reset en druk op het wiel om alle instellingen te herstellen.
i. Afstandsbediende functies
•Lamp: De lamp kan in- en uitgeschakeld worden via een DMX controller zonder de andere belichting te
beïnvloeden. Onthoud dat de lamp geen hot restrike-type lamp is. Wacht gedurende een tiental minuten
nadat u het hebt uitgeschakeld vooraleer u het toestel opnieuw inschakelt.
•Kleurwiel: De AERON 575S is uitgerust met twee 10-standen kleurwielen – 9 van deze zijn met
dichroïsche kleuren en de laatste is open. De hoofdkleur kan tussen 2 andere kleuren geplaatst worden.
De hoofdkleur kan continu worden geroteerd aan verschillenden snelheden. Warme en koude

kleurtemperatuurfilters (3200K en 6000K) zijn beschikbaar op het tweede wiel. De kleurenmacro zet 64
kleuren ter beschikking.
•Statisch gobowiel: Dit wiel heeft 9 gobo’s en een open positie. Alle gobo’s zijn onderling verwisselbaar.
De gobo’s hebben een buitendiameter van 27mm en een binnendiameter van 23mm. De snelheid van
het gobowiel kan worden aangepast. Verder beschikt het over een gobo shake-functie.
•Roterend gobowiel: Het roterende gobowiel heeft 4 metalen gobo’s, 2 glazen gobo’s die in beide
richtingen draaien. Alle gobo’s zijn onderling verwisselbaar.
•Prisma met 3 vlakken: Het prisma met 3 vlakken draait in beide richtingen aan verschillende snelheden
en wordt bestuurd via 16 macro’s.
•Iris: Gemotoriseerde iris voor verschillende straalafmetingen.
•Meertrapszoom: De gemotoriseerde focus laat toe de stralingshoek in te stellen (15°, 18° of 22°).
•Focus: Gemotoriseerde focus voor de scherpstelling van de straal.
•Dimmer / Sluiter / Stroboscoop: Dimmer / sluiter voor een vlot dimeffect van 0 ~ 100%. U kunt dit toestel
ook gebruiken voor stroboscoopeffecten (1 ~ 10 flitsen / sec.).
6. Reiniging en onderhoud
1. Alle gebruikte schroeven moeten goed zijn aangespannen en mogen geen sporen van roest vertonen.
2. De behuizing, de lenzen, de montagebeugels en de montageplaats (bvb. het plafond of het gebinte) mogen niet
vervormd zijn of aangepast worden (geen extra gaten in montagebeugels, aansluitingen niet verplaatsen etc.)
3. Mechanisch bewegende delen mogen geen sporen van slijtage vertonen en mogen niet onregelmatig bewegen.
4. De voedingskabels mogen niet beschadigd zijn. Laat het toestel onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus.
5. Ontkoppel het toestel van het lichtnet voor u aan onderhoudswerkzaamheden begint.
6. Maak het toestel geregeld schoon met een vochtige, niet pluizende doek. Gebruik geen alcohol of solvent.
7. De gebruiker mag geen onderdelen vervangen uitgenomen de lamp en de zekering.
8. Bestel eventuele reserveonderdelen bij uw dealer.

3. Directives générales
•Cet appareil a été développé pour usage professionnel dans des discothèques, des théâtres, etc. Employer cet
appareil à l’intérieur et le raccorder à une source de courant CA de max. 230VCA / 50Hz.
•Un effet lumineux n’est pas conçu pour une opération continue. Des pauses régulières prolongeront sa vie.
•Éviter de secouer l’appareil et traiter l’appareil avec circonspection pendant l’installation et l’opération.
Être prudent lors de l’installation : toucher un câble sous tension peut causer des électrochocs mortels.
Ne pas toucher l’appareil lorsqu’il est en service : le boîtier chauffe !
Protéger l’appareil contre la pluie et l’humidité.
Débrancher le câble d'alimentation avant d'ouvrir le boîtier.

•Choisir un endroit où l’appareil est protégé contre la poussière, l’humidité et des températures extrêmes (voir
« Spécifications techniques »). Respecter une distance minimum de 0.5m entre la sortie lumière de l’appareil et
la surface illuminée.
•Fixer l’appareil à l’aide d’un câble de sécurité adéquat (p.ex. VDLSC8).
•Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Ne pas permettre pas aux personnes non
qualifiées d’opérer cet appareil. La plupart des dégâts sont causés par un usage non professionnel.
•Transporter l’appareil dans son emballage originel.
•Toute modification de l’appareil est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité.
•N’utiliser votre VDP575MHS20FL qu’à sa fonction prévue. Tout autre usage peut causer des courts-circuits, des
brûlures, des électrochocs etc. Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie.
•L’installation doit être approuvée par un expert avant sa mise en service
4. Installation
a. Ampoules
•Déconnecter l’appareil du réseau électrique avant d’installer ou de remplacer une lampe.
•Laisser refroidir une lampe avant de la remplacer; elle peut atteindre une température de 700°C.
•Éviter de toucher une lampe halogène les mains nues. Remplacer l’ampoule à l’aide d’un chiffon.
•N’installer aucune lampe dont la puissance dépasse la puissance maximum comme ces ampoules
deviennent plus chaudes que la température maximale prévue.
•Remplacer toute lampe déformée ou endommagée par une lampe du même type (voir « Spécifications
techniques ») :
1. Ouvrir le couvercle supérieur du panneau arrière en desserrant
les 3 vis (X, Y et Z).
2. Retirer l’ancienne ampoule et insérer une nouvelle.
3. Ajuster le porte-ampoule (1 ~ 1.5mm de l’objectif) en réglant les 3
vis (A, B et C).
4. Refermer le compartiment.
b. Réglage de l’ampoule
L’ampoule de l’AERON 575S est préalablement réglée. Cependant, il se peut que, à cause des petites
différences entre les ampoules, un réglage de précision soit nécessaire pour augmenter la qualité de l’image.
Allumer la lampe et ouvrir l’obturateur et l’iris. Positionner l’intensité du gradateur sur 100% et pointer le
faisceau vers une surface plane. Centrer le faisceau (la partie la plus lumineuse de l’image) à l’aide des 3 vis
« A, B, C ». Tourner chaque vis un quart de tour dans le sens ou dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre. S’il s’avère difficile de centrer le faisceau, régler la lampe jusqu’à ce que la lumière soit uniforme.
c. Ajustement de l’angle du faisceau
L’objectif peut être place dans un angle entre 8° et 22°. Pour déterminer cet angle, desserrer les 2 vis de
réglage sur le porte-objectif et régler l’angle. Resserrer les vis et refermer le compartiment.
d. Insertion / remplacement des gobos
•Éteindre l’appareil et le laisser refroidir
pendant une dizaine de minutes. Le
débrancher du réseau avant de
remplacer les gobos.
•Ouvrir l’opercule situé sur la partie
supérieure du projecteur en desserrer les
2 vis.

•Oter l’anneau de fixation avec un outil approprié. Remplacez le gobo. Pousser sur l’anneau de fixation et le
placer devant le gobo.
•Refermer le compartiment.
e. Montage de l’appareil
•Un technicien qualifié doit installer l’appareil en respectant EN 60598-2-17 et toute autre norme applicable.
•La construction portante de l’appareil doit être capable de supporter 10 x le poids de l’appareil pendant une
heure, sans qu’une déformation de la construction en résulte.
•Fixer votre VDP575MHS20FL à l’aide d’un câble de sécurité (sécurité supplémentaire).
•Éviter de vous positionner en dessous de l’appareil pour l’enlever ou lors du montage ou du nettoyage. Un
technicien qualifié doit réviser l’appareil avant la mise en service. Organiser une révision minutieuse
annuelle.
•Installer l’appareil à un endroit où personne ne peut passer ou s’asseoir et où personne ne peut le toucher.
•L’installation de cet appareil exige une solide expérience pratique : le calcul de la charge max. de la
construction, les matériaux d’installation requis etc. De temps en temps, un technicien qualifié doit vérifier
la construction portante et l’appareil même. Ne pas essayer d’installer cet appareil vous-même si vous
n’avez pas les qualifications requises ; une installation incorrecte peut entraîner des blessures.
•Déterminer l’angle d’inclinaison au moyen de l’étrier de montage et serrez les vis de montage.
•Enlever tout matériau inflammable dans un rayon de 0.5m autour de l’appareil.
•Un électricien qualifié doit établir la connexion électrique.
•Brancher l’appareil sur le réseau électrique par la fiche d’alimentation. Ne pas le brancher sur un bloc de
puissance.
•Un expert doit approuver l’installation avant qu’elle puisse être prise en service.

•Débrancher l’appareil du réseau électrique avant de remplacer un fusible.
•Si la lampe est grillée, le fusible doit probablement également être remplacé.
•Remplacer un fusible sauté par un exemplaire identique (voir « Spécifications techniques ») :
1. Dévisser le porte-fusible situé à l’arrière de l’appareil.
2. Retirer l’ancien fusible et le remplacer.
3. Replacer le porte-fusible dans l’appareil.
