Safety information • Read, follow, and keep these instructions. • Heed all warnings. • Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer. • Installation must be performed by qualied personnel only. Contact a qualied electrician or the
manufacturer if there are questions about the installation prior to connecting the equipment.
• To prevent injuries and physical damage, always read this manual and all labels on the system
before connecting to the wall outlet.
• Huddle Hub One and Huddle Hub One+ products (generally referred to as “Huddle Hub”) are
intended to be used in ofce and indoor environments only.
• Only use the power adapter supplied with your device. While appearing to be similar, other pow-
er adapters have not been safety tested at the factory and may not be used to power the device. For a replacement power adapter, contact your dealer.
• Do not use the supplied power adapter, or its power cord, with other devices: it may damage the
other device, cause a re or explosion.
• Huddle Hub One and Huddle Hub One+ are provided with a detachable power cord which has
an integral safety ground wire intended for connection to a grounded safety outlet.
• Do not substitute the power cord with one that is not the provided approved type. Never use an
adapter plug to connect to 2-wire outlet as this will defeat the continuity of the grounding wire.
• Protective earthing is provided by power supply system. Building installation shall provide ap-
propriate short circuit backup protection.
• Protective bonding must be installed in accordance with local national wiring rules and regula-
tions.
• Use shielded cat 6 SSTP Ethernet cable for the network connection to Huddle Hub. • Don’t disassemble the product, or make repairs yourself. You run the risk of electric shock and
voiding the limited warranty. If you need service, please contact us.
• Avoid water, wet locations and place with excessive heat. • Place Huddle Hub in a well-ventilated place, far from any heater or heating vent. • Avoid direct irradiation of any strong light (such as sunlight). • Keep at least 2 inches (5 cm) of clear space around your device. • Place the Huddle Hub unit horizontally for optimal heat dissipation. • Do not place this equipment on an unstable cart, stand, or table. The product may fall, causing
serious damage to it.
• Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. To disconnect the cord, pull it out by the plug.
Never pull the cord itself.
• If an extension cord is used with this product, make sure that the total of the Ampere ratings
on the products plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord ampere rating.
• Make sure the cables and power cord are safely placed out of the way so they do not create a
tripping hazard.
• Lightning - For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left un-
attended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the device due to lightning and AC power-line surges.
• Warning – risk of re: do not place flammable or combustible materials near the device! • In the event of fire, use sand, CO2, or dry powder fire extinguishers; never use water on an electrical fire. Warranty Limited Warranty Huddle Room Technology Srl (“HRT”) warrants that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the
“Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment by HRT under normal use and operation. HRT’s sole and ex- clusive obligation and liability under the foregoing warranty shall be for HRT, at its discretion, to repair or replace any Product that fails to conform to the above warranty during the above warranty period. The expense of removal and reinstallation of any Product is not included in this warranty. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Product shall not extend beyond its original term. Warranty Conditions The above warranty does not apply if the Product: • has been modied and/or altered, or an addition made thereto, except by HRT, or HRT’s
authorized representatives, or as approved by HRT in writing;
• has been painted, rebranded or physically modied in any way; • has been damaged due to errors or defects in cabling; • has been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal physical, electromagnetic or
electrical stress, including lightning strikes, or accident;
• has been damaged or impaired as a result of using third party rmware; • has no original HRT label(s); or • has not been received by HRT within 30 days of issuance of the RMA. In addition, the above warranty shall apply only if: the product has been properly installed and used at all times in accordance, and in all material respects, with the applicable Product documentation; all Ethernet cabling runs use CAT5 (or above), and for outdoor installations, shielded Ethernet cabling is used, and for indoor installations, indoor cabling requirements are followed. Return No Products will be accepted for replacement or repair without obtaining a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from HRT during the warranty period, and the Products being received at HRT’s facility freight prepaid in accordance with the RMA process of HRT. Prod- ucts returned without an RMA number will not be processed and will be returned freight col- lect or subject to disposal.
