1.Introduction
S210 multifunctionaldataloggerisdesigned forlong-termsignalmeasurementand recording,
supported bybatteryorexternalACadapter.S210can measurevarioussignals,suchasvoltagesignal
0-10V(S210-V2),currentsignal0~25mA(S210-AS);meanwhile,itcan recordthebinarysignals.The log
intervalcan besetfrom2secondsto24 hours;measurementrangecan beopted from-999 to9999 for
operators.Quiteeasyandconvenienttohandleand savedataeven undertheinterruption ofpower
supply. USB interfaceallowsdownloadingall the datafromdataloggerforanalysisanytime.

Button:LCD on/offbutton when underthenormalworkingstatus,turnoffthe LCD display
and noinfluencetorecording.
Button:On/offbutton, andinvalidundertherecordingstatus.

2.1Quick Start
Followthe procedurebelowtoquicklystart usingyourdatalogger:
1.Connect the dataloggertoafree USB port on thecomputer.
2.Start ToAnalyzer2softwareon thePC.
3.Fromthe toolbarselect Connect.
4.Thenyoucan setupordownload data, deletedatafromthe logger.
5.Unplugthe cablefromthe logger,then the loggerisinStandbymode.Press button
LOG on the logger, then LOGdisplaysonthescreenand the loggerbeginstorecord.
6.Press LOG forabout fiveseconds, theloggerwillchangetoStandbymode.
Note: The loggerhasthreemodes:
1.LOG: Inthe mode, theloggersamplesand recordsdatatimely.
2.Standby:Inthemode,theloggerstopstosampleand record,buttheLCD displayis
on.
3.OFF:Inthemode,the loggerstopstosampleand record,and theLCD displayisoff.
ToAnalyzercannot connecttothe loggeralso.
2.2ConnectingtheLoggertoPC
Toconnect theloggertothe computer,followthesesteps:
1.Connect the USB cabletothe loggerand toafree USB port on thecomputer.
2.Ifyou areconnectingtheloggertothePCforthe firsttime,the loggerwill
automaticallyberecognized andinstalledon the computer.
3.Start ToAnalyzer2analysissoftware.
4.Click the icon fromthe toolbar, then ToAnalyzerconnectstothe logger.
Ifmorethan oneloggerisconnected toyourcomputeratthe sametime,the programwill
ask youtochooseCOMportmanually.
Note: The windowsoperating systemcannothandleUSB devicesbeing unplugged and
pluggedback too fast.When unplugging thelogger,waitforabout5secondsbefore
plugging itinagain.If you unplug andplug back adevicetoo quickly,the computermay
stop recognizinganyUSBdeviceson thatport.If thishappensyouwillhavetorestart the
computer.ThisisawindowsUSB problemandisnotrelated toToAnalyzer.

2.3. SettinguptheLoggertoRecordData
Tosetthe loggertostartrecordingdata,click the button on thetoolbar,orselect
Setupfromthe menu.
Thesetupoptionswindowisshownbelow.

l:Get current setupinformation fromthe logger.Click thisbutton,andthenthe
oldsetupinformation isshownbelow.
l:Synchronizethe newsetupinformation and PCtime tothe logger.After
changingthe configuration, do notforget clickingthisbutton tomakesurethatthe
newconfiguration iswrotetothe logger.
lName: Givesanametothe logger.
lType: Thedevicetype.
lModel:The devicemodel.
lSerialNo: EveryloggerhasaSNwith10 characters.Thelengthmust be10.
lLOG Intervals(s): The intervalofsamplingand recording.
lLogCount: Thecount ofthelogsthat the loggerhasrecorded.
lMemorycapacity:Thetotalcapacityoftheloggermemory.Onereadingincludestime
and three channels data.

lTemperatureUnit: Theselection ofCand F.
Calibratethelogger: The loggerisfactorycalibrated toan accuracygiven inthe device
specifications.However,theremaybetimeswhen youwishtoadjustthecalibration of
yourlogger.ToAnalyzerprovidesyou withthe abilitytoperformasinglepointoffset
calibration.Thiscalibration can beused toincreasethe accuracyofthe loggerfora
restricted datarange.Theoffsetcannotbe modified indefault. Onlytheauthorized
operatorcan modifyit. Pleasecontact withthe agenttoget thepassword.
lCH1offset: Theoffset ofchannelone.
lCH2offset: Theoffset ofchanneltwo.

2.4. ChannelsSetup
Click the menu bar “Logger”--–“ChannelSetup”:
The ChannelsSetupdialogappears.Inthisdialogue,you cansetuptheinputchannels.
The unitsymbolofthe loggercan bedefined manuallyalso.The symbolsmustbeinthe
set {0-9, a-z,A-Z}.

2.5. Downloaddatafromthelogger.
Togetall thedatafromthe logger,connecttheloggertoyourcomputerand click the
button on thetoolbar. Oncethe dataistransferred fromthe loggertothe PC, the
datagraphand datalistingwindowswill bedisplayed.
Thegraphdisplaywill beblankiftherearenotanylogs.
Note1:Pushleft mousebutton down,andthenmove toselectarectanglearea,
whentheleft mousebutton isup,thegraph will beredrawwiththedatainthe
selectedrectanglearea. Clickrightbutton, thenthegraph willberedrawing withall
thedatainthelogsfile.
Note2:Pushrightbuttondownand up outsidethegraph,thepopup menu bar
shows.Thelineswill beshowedorhiddenaccording totheselection ofthemenu
bar.

2.6. Deleteall thelogsfromthelogger.
Toeraseall datafromthe logger,connecttothe logger,and then click button on
the toolbar.
2.7. DataListingWindow
Click button on the toolbar, and then the datalistingwindowis asthe following:

2.8. ExportingLoggerData
Youcan useToAnalyzertoexportsampledatatoatextfileortoaMicrosoft Excelfileor
BMPfile.
l: Export sampledatatoan Excelfile.
l: Export sampledatatoatext file.
l: Export graphtoaBMPfile.
2.9. FileList
The filelistpane listsall the filesinthe directoryLogfileswhichislocated intheinstalled
directoryofToAnalyzer.
lDoubleclick left mousebutton, thenthe selectedfileisopened.
lClick rightmousebutton,apopupmenu isshownasbelow,you can renameordelete
alogfile.
