Preparation
RequirementsfortheComputer
TousetheE156B,the computershouldmeetthe followingrequirements:
nUSB TypeAReceptacle,Compatible with USB 2.0HighSpeed.
nWindows2000SP4,WindowsXPSP2,WindowsVista.
nYour computershardwaresystemshouldmeetorexceedthe recommended
system requirementsfortheinstalledversionof OS.
nResolutionforthe display: 800 ×600orabove.
GettingYourE156B Ready
1. Removethe USIM/SIMcardslotfromthe E156B.
2. Insert the USIM/SIMcardintothecardslot.
3. Insert the cardslotintotheE156B.

InsertingtheMicroSDCard(Optional)
Insert the microSDcardintotheE156B,asshowninthe followingfigure.
Note:
Donotremovethe microSDcardwhen itisbeingused.Removingthecardduring
an operationmay damagethe microSDcardaswell asthe device,anddata
storedonthecardmaybe corrupted.

Ondifferentoperatingsystems(OSs),the installationandremovalprocedures
may differ.Followthe systempromptsduringoperation.
ConnectingtheE156Bwith aComputer
Note:
First,poweronthecomputer.ThenconnecttheE156Bwith thecomputer.
Otherwise,theE156Bcannotbeinstalledasnormal.
1. Plugthe E156Bintothe USB interfaceof the laptopordesktopcomputer.
Youcan connectthe E156Btoalaptopordesktopcomputerusingthe USB cable
forbettersignals.

2. The OS automatically detectsandrecognisesnewhardware andstartsthe
installationwizard.
3. Followthe promptsoftheinstallationwizard.
4. Afterthe program isinstalled,ashortcuticonfortheE156Bmanagement
programisdisplayedonthedesktop.
StartingtheManagementProgram
AftertheE156Bisinstalled,themanagement programislaunchedautomatically.
Theneverytime the E156BisconnectedtothePC,the management programis
launchedautomatically.
Youcanalsodouble-click the shortcuticononthe desktoptolaunchthe
management program.
RemovingtheE156B
Removethe E156Bdirectly.
RemovingtheManagementProgram
1. Click StartMenu.
2. Click ControlPanel.

3. Click Add/RemoveProgram toremove the managementprogram ofthe
E156B.
