I Summary
1.Instructions for use
Dear user, thank you for purchasing the automatic open flash point tester produced
by our company.
This manual describes the safety and correct use of the series of products related
matters.
Please refer to this manual carefully and use it after understanding before use.
Please note that the All the contents contained in the text and precautions of the
sign.
The company has the right not to bear the responsibility for property loss or personal
injury caused by failure to use the manual.
This manual is essential for users' installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Please keep it properly.
2.Safety precautions
Extended power supply or multi-purpose plug is not recommended.
During use, it is strictly forbidden to stretch, buckle or squeeze the power cord;And
the power cord shall not be bent or folded dangerously.
Please disconnect the power supply of the instrument first when the instrument is in
trouble repair.
The instrument needs to be placed in the fume hood.
The instrument adopts 220V AC. non professionals are not allowed to open the
machine shell without authorization.
The ground wire must be well grounded and the grounding resistance shall be less
than 10 ohm.

The temperature of the heating furnace is high in the process of measuring this
instrument, and it needs to be attended by someone.

4.Instrument characteristics
Display interface: 8-inch color LCD touch screen.
Temperature measuring element: PT100 (L-type armor).
Ignition mode: the diameter of electronic ignition ball is 3-4mm (the temperature of the
fireball can be adjusted).
Flash point detection: UV flame sensor

1.Flash point detection system
The ignition wire of platinum alloy is controlled by the program of small voltage and

high current.
The fire sweeping mechanism is driven by a stepping motor and swept through the
test cup in a straight line.
The flash fire detection sensor adopts optical sensitive sensor to detect the flash point
in a non-contact manner.
2.Sample temperature sensor
The sample temperature sensor adopts armored L-type PT100 to measure the
temperature of the sample in the test cup.
When adjusting the height of the sensor, loosen the nut fixing the temperature sensor.
Adjust the position exactly at that time and then tighten it.
3.Heating system
AC 220V voltage supply, two 300W heating rods (two are available, installed to the
instrument), 0-600w can be adjusted continuously.
The other two heating rods can be switched in the system settings.
The heating system has a high-power cooling fan, which can set the cooling
temperature of the hot bath in the method setting.
4.Fire fighting device
The instrument is equipped with fire extinguishing cover. Only when the detection of
ignition point is over, the sample starts to burn. At this time, the lifting mechanism rises,
and the fire cover is driven by the stepping motor to extinguish the burning sample
cover.
5.Barometer
In the instrument cabinet, electronic barometer is used.
6.Printer
In front of the instrument, a thermal micro printer is used, and the printing paper must be
thermal printing paper.
III. Install
The automatic open flash point tester should be installed in the laboratory with good
ventilation device or in the laboratory or fume hood close to the fume hood, so as to

timely eliminate the toxic gas in the measurement process, and ensure the safety
and non-toxic of the operator.
Insert the power cord of the instrument into the power socket behind the body, and
the other end into the 220V AC power socket.Power on to work.
The grounding is required to be good, and the power supply shall meet the needs of
the instrument.

1.Operation instructions of instrument software
Main interface
The main interface operation interface is shown in the following figure:

Component control
Under the main interface, the control of components can be divided into cooling fan,
mechanism lifting, fire sweeping once and ignition.
Manual start or stop of cooling fan: press the cooling fan to start and then press the
cooling fan to turn off.
Mechanism lifting: manually control the lifting of control mechanism. Press once to
change to raise or fall. Please pay attention to whether to operate
Damage to other parts, confirm it is correct before operation
Fire sweep once: Click to sweep fire once.
Ignition: click the first time to warm up, the second time is ignition, and the third time is
to turn off ignition.
Interface switching
In the main interface, click the system setting, method setting, historical data, equipment
detection, instrument calibration, debugging and analysis interface to divide

2.System settings
The system settings interface is as follows:
Screen correction: click this button to complete the screen calibration
Operation password: the user can set the password at will, which is convenient for
users to use
Auto print: whether the automatic printing function is enabled. If this option is selected,
the data will be automatically printed after the experiment is completed
After setting, click Exit button to return to main interface, and all relevant data and
parameters will be stored and set

other flash is valid.Generally, one flash fire is effective.

Save and exit
If the parameters in the method are modified, please save before exiting.If you do not
modify the parameters in the method, you can exit directly.
4.Historical data
The historical data interface is shown in the following figure:
Query historical data: click the list box on the left to query historical data arbitrarily
Printing: printing the current displayed historical data
Exit button: press exit button to return to main interface
5.Equipment detection
The equipment detection is shown in the following figure:

Lifting mechanism: control the lifting or stopping of the lifting mechanism
Fire sweeping mechanism: control the fire sweeping mechanism to sweep or stop
Flash point detection: click the "flash point test stop" switch to convert the switch text
into "flash point test start", and then close the fire source to the experimental cup, and
the instrument will give a beep.Click the "flash point test start" switch to convert the
switch text to "flash point test stop", and the flash point detection will be stopped, but it
will not affect the flash point detection in the experiment process
Ignition mechanism: control the preheating, ignition or off of ignition mechanism, note
that ignition power must be turned on
Hot bath control: control the power of the heating rod, start the heating, and display the
current sample temperature and the hot bath temperature
Cooling fan: controls the start or stop of the hot bath cooling fan.
Ignition power supply: control the power supply of ignition mechanism on or off.
Exit: cancel flash point detection, cooling fan control, ignition power control, ignition
mechanism control in the current interface, and return to the main interface.
6.Instrument correction
The instrument corrects the temperature and the air pressure correction is shown in the
following figure:

1.Temperature correction
Temperature correction must be careful and careful, any careless correction method will
affect the accuracy of instrument data.
Input the real temperature of the environment where the current temperature sensor
is placed at the temperature correction.
Click the temperature correction button.
The measured temperature is the temperature measured by the instrument, and the
corrected temperature is the temperature to be corrected, that is, the real temperature.
2.Barometric correction
The error of barometer will cause the error of the correction result of air pressure:
Input the current real atmospheric pressure to the real atmospheric pressure, and click
pressure correction.
The correction value shows the value corrected by the air pressure sensor.
7.Instrument debugging
Debug the function and open to the user, because the open result may cause instrument
failure, damage and data deviation.
8.Analysis interface
The analysis interface of the instrument is to display the whole analysis process status,
process variables, data record, data calculation and control analysis process, as shown
in the following figure:

Start or stop switching: when the experiment starts, it shows that the experiment has
started, otherwise it shows that the experiment has stopped
Print: you can print the latest set of experimental data. This function is disabled when
starting the experiment.
Exit: return to the main interface.
2.preparation
1.Clean
Before each experiment, clean the cup.
2.Sample preparation
Shake the sample before the experiment.
Pour the sample into the scale line of the test cup, and there are two graduation lines.
Select the scale line according to the sample.
3.Start experiment
Set the method parameters for the experiment in the method setting interface, save
and exit.
Select the method for this experiment in the analysis interface.
Enter the number of the test sample in the analysis interface.
Wait for the bath temperature to reach the temperature set in the method.
Put the sample cup in the heating bath.

Click the analysis interface button to enter the analysis interface.
Click the experiment stopped switch in the analysis interface to change the switch
text into experiment started and experiment test started.
After the experiment is started, the instrument controls the whole experiment process
according to the parameters set by the method, and the user monitoring is not
required.
After the experiment, the hot bath fan is turned on, so that the hot bath can quickly
return to the method to set the cooling temperature value.
4.End of experiment
At the end of the experiment, please clean the cup for the next experiment.
Wait for the temperature of the hot bath to fall within the safe temperature range and
turn off the power.
Wipe the flash point detector gently with clean paper or cloth.
