LED lighting system for Hussmann

is ushering in a new era in refrigerated display lighting for
supermarkets. Hussmann’s Always*Bright LED lights use far less energy,
are more durable and provide more even illumination than fluorescents.

Hussmann’s new Always*Bright LED lighting system will reduce direct
electrical energy consumption by 46% versus T-8 fluorescents.
Due to the reduction in light energy, the heat inside the case is reduced.
This provides an additional 8% in compressor energy savings.
Always*Bright LED lights are well suited to either dimming or on/off
operation. You can save 50% in light energy by dimming lights down to
20% of the original light level. Further, Always*Bright LED lights can be
turned on and off in a cold environment with no warm up time and no
negative impact on lamp life.
With fluorescent tubes, product facings can be much brighter at the end
of each shelf than in the center of the shelf. This creates a perceived
channel of darkness in the center of each door.
With Always*Bright LED lighting, the light is spread much more evenly
across the entire shelf. Brightness changes very little between the
center and end of each shelf, creating a far more uniform, consistent
illumination on all your product facings. Also, Always*Bright LED light
fixtures tend to be very consistent in brightness from one to the next,
further enhancing lighting consistency.
Always*Bright LED lighting systems for Hussmann Reach-ins are
available in two color temperatures: 3500K and 4100K.
Hussmann Always*Bright LED lights have
superior reliability and durability. They are
backed by a 4-year materials warranty on the
LED light strips and a 5-year materials warranty
on the power supply.
Hussmann Always*Bright LED light
fixtures normally perform for up to 50,000
hours. That is 5.7 years of continuous, 24 hour
operation. This will greatly reduce the
number of re-lamps required and the
associated labor costs.
Hussmann Always*Bright LED lights can be
installed in all new Hussmann Reach-Ins
with Innovator or Innovator II Doors. They
can also be easily retrofitted into existing cases
with Innovator or Innovator II Doors.
