thepedallevelto fixit.

connectto an externalmonosystem, stereo/mono adapterisrecommended.

Thisdrum has20 preset drumkitsforyourchoice.The kitis
acombination of different instrument voicesassigned to
each padwhich hasunitary styleforperformance. Anykit
couldbeedited andsaved. Afterthe poweristurnedon, the
kit mode isengaged automaticallythe KITbutton islit and
the kit numberisshown on the display.
Inotheroperationmodes,youcouldpress the KITbutton to
enterthe kitmode directly.
KITSELECT
Pressthe +or-buttonto selectthe kityou desirefrom the
kit list below ranging 01 -20. The default kit numberis01.
When you re-enterthekitmode,thekitnumberwill be one
youselected last time.

Afterselecting a kit, you can change the voice and itsvol-
ume of each pad and savethem.

colorofthebuttonbecomesblue.The defaultpadis Tom1.

You can test thevoicebystrikingthepad orpressingthe
padbutton.
Pressandholddown the +or-button, the data
willchangeconsecutively.Itishelpfulforyouto change
thenumberinlargerange.
Youcan change the voiceofanotherpadbypressingan-
otherbutton.
Or,youcan adjustthe volumeofthispadbypressing the
VOLUMEbutton andthe VOLUMEbutton will light upand
blink.The displayshowscurrent volume. Then, use the +/-
button tochange the volumeranging 0-127.
An easywayto selecta part isto hitthe pad or
press the Hi-Hat pedaldirectly.The corresponding but-
tonwill light up and blink.Pleasenote thatatoo slight
strikingcannot triggeraproperselection.
EXITFROMTHEEDITMODE
Press the blinking VOICEorVOLUMEbutton again to exit
andturnto thekitselectmode. Itsindicatorwill be off. Please
notethat yoursetting will be lostwhenyou turnoffthepower.
YoucanalsoexitbypressingtheSAVE button.Inthis
way, yoursetting isnonvolatileeven whenyouturn
off thepower.
You can restorethe factorysetting.Please
refer todescriptionaboutthe Reset onpage 9.

Thereare50 built-inpatternsforyourenjoyment andexercise.
PLAYTHEPATTERN
Press the PATTERN button to engage the patternmode and
itsindicatorwilllightup. The patternnumberwith “P”infront
will appearandblinkon thedisplay.Usethe +or –button to
selecta pattern. PressthePLAYbuttonto startplaying and
the displaywill showmeasurenumber. Pad selectbuttons
willflashto indicate which pad isperformed.
When the patternplayingisfinished,it llrestartfrom the
verybeginning. Press the STOPbutton tostop the playing.
During the playing,you can alsoselectapatternbypressing
the+or-button,thenext/lastpatternnumberwill appearon
thedisplay.Afterselecting, the newpatternwillstartplay
from the firstmeasure.
During the playing, you can change itstempo. Pressthe
TEMPObutton, itsindicatorwill light up and blink. The cur-
rent tempo will appearon the displayand blink.Usethe +or-
button to change the tempo ranging 40 -240. Press both +
and -buttonsimultaneously,thetempowill recoverthe origi-
nalvalue.Wait3secondsorpress the TEMPObutton again,
thedisplaywill recoverthemeasure.
EXERCISEWITHTHEPATTERN
During thepatternplaying,you canalsoplaypads.
All patternsconsistof drum patternandorchestralback-
ground music.Youcan mutethe drumsoundand playby
yourselfaccompanied with background music.Press the
DRUM OFF button to mute the drum sound and the button
will light up.
Thevolume of the patternis adjustable.Press the VOLUME
button, the button will light up and blinkwhilethe current
volume willbe displayed. Usethe +or-buttontoadjust the
volume. Wait3secondsorpress the VOLUMEbutton again,
thedisplaywill recoverthemeasure.
Press the KITbuttonorpress the PATTERN buttonagainto
exit and turn to the Kit mode.

Enterthe patternmode

Pressthe CLICKbutton toactivate the metronome,itsindi-
catorwilllight upand flashaccordingto current tempo.
Note: During thepattern playing, themetronome
cannotsoundbuttheCLICKbuttonwill flashifthe
metronomeisengaged.
Press the button again to stop it.
The speed of themetronome is determinedbytempo value.
It isadjustable. Press the TEMPObutton. Itsindicatorwill
lightupandblink.Thecurrent tempowillappearon thedis-
playandblink.Use the +or-buttonto changethetempo
ranging40-240.Pressboth+and -buttonsimultaneously,
thetempo will restorethe defaultvalue 120.Wait3seconds
orpressthe TEMPObuttonagain,thedisplaywillturnback
tothepreviouswindow.

Thisdrum providesfacilitiesto recordone pieceofyourper-
formanceandsaveitaspattern51. Therecording couldbe
accompaniedwith pattern. Beforerecording,you shouldpre-
parenecessarysettingsincludingselecting drumkit,metro-
nome and tempo setting, pattern selecting etc.
RECORD STANDBY
Press the RECORDbutton to enterthe recordmode. The
button will light upandblinkto indicate therecorderis
standby.ThePATTERNbuttonwilllight up automaticallyso
that you can record yourperformancewitha pattern. The
displayshowsthe current patternnumber;you can select
anotherpatternbythe+or-button.Thevolumeandtempo
ofthepattern isadjustable,pleasereferto the<PATTERN>
section of thismanual.
Ifyoudonot wantdrumsoundinthe pattern, press theDRUM
OFF button to mute it.
Ifyoudon twant to usethe pattern at all, pressthePAT-
TERN button, itsindicatorwillbe truned off and “oFF”will
appearonthedisplay.
Youcan makethemetronome readybypressing the CLICK
button and the button will flash.
RECORDING
Therearetwotypesoftherecord.
*Recordfreeperformance -You shouldturn offthepattern
forthistypeof record.
*Recordwitha pattern -In thisway,you can eitheruse its
background music oraddyourperformance to thepattern.
Thepatternwill playrepeatedlyuntil youstop therecording.
Pleasenote that evenifyoustop the recording beforethe
patternis over,theremainingmeasureof thepatternwillbe
keptinyourrecording.
Thereare twowaystostart recording.
*Auto Start: Press the RECORD button again, afterfour
beatscount-in, therecordwillstartimmediatelyno matter
you strikethe drum pad ornot.
*SynchroStart: The record will start assoon asyou strike
anypad.
When recordstarted, theRECORDbutton stopsblinkingand
remainslit.Themetronome willsoundassoon asrecord
startsifthe metronome isengaged.The recording measure
will appearon the display.

playshowsP51. yoursetting isnonvolatileeven when
you turnoffthepower.
When the RECORDbutton blinks,press the STOPbutton to
discard thecurrent record.TheRECORDbuttonturnsoff
and the PATTERN button keepslit. The displayshowsthe
pattern numberyou selected beforethe recording. Please
note that yourcurrent recordwillbe lost.
Press the KITnumberanytime, the recording will be termi-
natedandthedrumwillturntotheKit mode.Yourcurrent
recordwill be lost.
PLAYBACK
Enterthe Patternmode, select P51, pressthePLAYbutton
to playback yourrecording. Pleasereferto the <PATTERN>
section of thismanualfordetails.
