(8)LineOutJack: Thereisnobuilt-inspeakerinthe drum. LineOutstereo audiooutputsupplies
thedrumoutputsignal toexternal amplification,suchas homestereo,PA systemorotherstand
alone amplifiers. If you connectwithexternalmono system,useL/MONO outputandstereo/mono
adapterisrecommended.
(9) PadTriggerConnector: Eachpad and Hi-Hat controlpedalhaslabeled cable. All cablesare
merged intoasingleconnector.Pluginthe cableintojack ofcorrespondingcomponent, Then,plugin
theconnectorhere.
(10)ExpandedPadTriggerJack: Pluginthe cableoftheextratomand cymbalintocorresponding

Playing Cymbal
Strike thecentral position(bow)of the cymbal
tomake cymbal bowsound,strike the edgeof
thecymbal tomakeedgeshotsound.
Cymbal Choke
Strike acymbal, itssound will sustain. Then
squeezetheedge portiontomutethesound.
Please notethattheHi-Hathas no choke
feature.
Bow
All pads have striking force sensitivityfeature.
Strikethe padhardertomakehighervolume
andstrikethepad softer tomake lower
volume.

Song which isrecorded by yourself.
1. DEMO SONG
(1) Select and Play Demo Song
Therearemany demosongsbuiltin.The name
and number ofdemosong, playingstatus,tempo
and timesignatureappear on the display.Rotate
the DATE knob tochoose asong.
Thenpressthebuttontostartplay;thebutton
indicatorlightsup.
When the demosongisplaying,pressthe
button againtostopthe playing, the indicator
turns off.
(2) Demo Song Playing Mode
Therearefourmodes toplaysong:
PLAY 1- Playing selected song once
REPEAT1- Playing selected song repeatedly
PLAY ALL- Play all songs
REPEATALL - Playing all songs repeatedly
Pressthe SONGbutton twice toenterthe play
modewindow. RotatetheDATEknobtochange
theplayingmode.
Thescreenwill turnback totheprevious window

(3) Practice with Demo Song
You may practice your ownperformance withthe
demosong.

will hear drumsoundonly.It helpsyoutogetidea
howtoperformdrum.
DRUM MUTE - Whenpress the button,you

Then, you can play drumsby yourself.
Press the MODEbuttonrepeatedlytochange the
practice mode.
Thescreenwill turnback totheprevious window

Adrum kit consistsof drumpads, cymbalspads and Hi-Hatpedalphysically, which generatesound
indifferentway such as by striking headorrimofdrumpad,striking cymbal bowor edge, press-
ingHi-Hatpedal. Wecall the sourcetogeneratesoundasPart, forexample, thepart generating
sound by striking the headofTom1padisdisplayedonthescreenasTom1,thepart generating
soundbyHi-Hat control pedalisdisplayedon thescreenas Pedal Hi-Hat etc.The detailed
descriptionislisted inTable1below.
Each parthas multiparameterstodetermine itssound characteristics such as voice, volume,
reverblevelandpanetc.TheseparametersarelistedInTable2.
Theedit featureistoset parameterforeach part,partlyorforallpartsinakit. Obviously,assigning
voice tothe part ismostimpotant function.Thisdrumhas totally492 voices canbe selectand
assigned withthisfunction.

pressthe SNARE button once,the partisSnare
(Head);press theSNARE buttontwice,thepart
changes toSnare-R1;pressthe SNARE button again,
the part will changetoSnare-R2. The part namewill
apear onthefirst row ofthedisplay.Pleaserefer to
Table1fordetails.
Or,simplystrikethe properportionof apadwithnor-
malstrenthtoselectthepart directly. You couldse-
lecttheHi-Hatcontrolpedalbypressing itdownto
thebottom.
4.Selectparametertoedit
Thecurrentparameterisblinking.RotatetheDataknob
toselectaparametertoedit. Inthisexample,select
VOICE.

Pressthe EXITbutton,the screen will back tothe parametr selection windowwiththeparameter
nameblinking.Then,selectapart by rotating the DATA knob.Then,editparametersinthe sameway
above.

ter singleor multiplepart/parameter, you cantermi-
natetheedit.
PresstheEXITbutton repeatedlyuntil “SaveSetups
to ”on the screen.Then, you have twochoices:
(1)Saveedited drumkitas yourownuserkit:Rotate
theDateknobtoselectanuserkit numberranged
51 UserKit01 to80UserKit30.Press [ENTE]to
confirm. Theeditedresultsaresavedas desiredUser
kitthenexitthe editmodeandreturntotheKitwindow.
Theuserkitsettingisnonvolatileeventhe powerturns
off.
(2) Press theEXITbutton toexit the edit modeand
returntotheKit window.Alltheeditedresultswillbe
discarded.
