Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the Perk™Switch. This Perk Switch
allows you to offer Perk treatments right from your HydraFacial™Elite™
and HydraFacial™Tower™devices.

Set-Up
1. Unplug the tubing from the waste canister lid.
2. Remove the waste canister from the back
of the HydraFacial System.
3. Place the Perk Switch on top of the waste
canister lid. Press the hook to the side of
canister lid nozzle. Then plug the waste
canister back in to the HydraFacial System.
4. Make sure to place the Perk Switch
tool holder adapter in the tool holder
in the front left slot.
5. Then plug the Perk handpiece tubing
into the left hand position closest to
the Perk emblem.
6. Plug the HydraFacial handpiece
tubing into the right hand position
closest to the HydraFacial emblem.
7. The Perk handpiece is active when
you see the purple bar next to
the emblem. Make sure to push
all the way to the side.
8. The HydraFacial handpiece is active
when you see the blue bar next to
the emblem. Make sure to push all
the way to the side.
9. When installed correctly, the Perk Switch
should appear similar to image on the right.

Operation
Performing a Perk Treatment
1. Before beginning a treatment, slide the lever so you see the purple
bar next to the Perk emblem.
2. Go to the Main Screen and select Signature HydraFacial. Adjust the
vacuum setting as needed. You can bypass the PreCleanse step and
other optional modalities if applicable.
3. To begin a treatment, select either lip or eye kit.
Gently glide rollerball tip over targeted skin areas. Skin solution will
be deposited on the skin and dead skin cells will be suctioned away.
(Note: Do not increase the vacuum above 11 or there will not be
enough serum to complete the service. Follow the treatment patterns
provided on the protocol card.)
Lip: Begin with Lip Revitalizing Serum and the clear tip included
in the packaging. Secure the clear tip onto the rollerball end of the
vial. Then, attach the tubing from the Perk Switch onto the vial tip
and twist. (Note: The vial tip is for single use only. Discard after use.
Do not over-tighten the tubing.)
Recommended Vacuum Setting: 11
Eye: Begin with Eye Replenishing Serum and the blue tip included in
the packaging. Secure the blue tip onto the rollerball end of the vial.
Then, attach the tubing from the Perk Switch onto the vial tip and
twist. (Note: The vial tip is for single use only. Discard after use.
Do not over-tighten the tubing.)

4. The skin solution vials are not completely used during the treatment,
so that the client may take the vial home. Place cap back on the vial
to prevent spillage, return to the packaging, and give to client.

System Cleaning and Preventative
Maintenance
It is recommended you perform a cleaning of the System after
each treatment.
After Each Treatment
1. Wearing gloves is recommended to avoid contact with waste material.
2. After each treatment, run the System cleaning process. To start the
process, ensure vial and tip are removed from the tubing, then take
the tubing and attach it securely to the System Cleaning Solution
cleaning cap.
(Note: Only use Rinseaway™or Perk System Cleaning Solution. They
are specically developed to ush through the tubing line to remove
and prevent any product or impurity build-up.)
3. Turn the vacuum to 11 for 30 seconds.
4. Empty the waste canister after each treatment. If the waste canister
is full, the System will beep and the waste canister caution light will
activate. You will not be able to perform any procedure until the waste
canister is emptied.
5. Wash, dry, and wipe/spray with Barbicide (follow manufacturer’s
instructions) over waste canister and lid. Leave open overnight
to air-dry.
