Installation
1. As shown in Figure 1, fix this product on the original rear view mirror..

2. As shown in Figure 2, adjust the position of this product, so that the original
car rearview mirror would not block the lens of this product.

3. As shown in Figure 3, plug the power cord into the cigarette lighter, then route
the power cable through top ceiling, pillar A of the rubber strips, and under
floor mats of passenger seat.

Operation
Step 1. Plug the power connector into the cigarette lighter to start the car
(Red LED and Green LED always on)
Step 2. Insert SD card into dvr
Step 3. Turn on LCD monitor (this step can be skipped)
Step 4. Enter the boot mode, start recording in 10 seconds (red off, green
light blinks)
Step 5. Press stop recording, press continue recording
Step 6. Press , simultaneously to enter the main menu mode (red
and green LED always on)
-At this time, press to select item, and press to
confirm
Step 7. Playback
Press to enter 1. Playback mode as
Press to select the file, and press to play file. Press
to stop playing. Press for about seconds to go back
to main menu.
Date and Ti e
Select . Date and Time by , press into ,
Press to select the field, is adjusted figures, Press
for seconds to back to main menu.
Language
Select 3. Language by , press into language selection
table,
press to select the desired language, press to confirm,
then the screen will directly back to the main menu screen of the
language.

finished, the system will go back to main menu.

Bluetooth Hands-free Car Kit Operation
It's dangerous and illegal to hold a mobile phone during drive, the integrated
Bluetooth car kits will provide a safe and convenient solution as you driving
Power On/ Off
Car starts, then hands-free go into standby mode, status LED flashes once every
3 seconds. In the boot of the state, press the speakerphone function key for 3
seconds, the speaker issued a long beep, the system enters shutdown mode, the
status LED goes off.
In shutdown mode, press the hands-free function key for 3 seconds, the speaker
issued a short beep, the system boot into standby mode, the status light flash
every 3 seconds.
Bluetooth Pairing
Before start using hands-free, it must be paired with cell phone, procedures are as
follows:
1. Put the cell phone in the range of 1 meter from rear view mirror..
2. Make sure hands-free is off.
3. Press hands-free function key for 6 seconds, until you hear a long beep,
status LED steady.
4. Activate the Bluetooth feature of the phone, and search for Bluetooth devices.
(please refer to cell phone manual for detail steps.)
5. Select (ABE0 car kit) which has been searched by the phone.
6. Key in the password (0000) from the phone and press the enter key, speaker
will issue long beep soon after the success of pairing, followed by the system
into standby.
Auto Connection
Hands-free boot, it will automatically search and connect to the last connected
Bluetooth device. (Cell phone Bluetooth function must be turned on before that.)
Manual Connection
Because of distance or other factors caused the automatic connection could not
succeed, please follow one of the following connections:
1. Press hands-free once quick, it will reconnect to cell phone.
2. Select (ABE0 car kit) from cell phone Bluetooth menu.
Terminate Connection
Follow one of the following ways to stop the connection:
1. Turn off Hands-free.
2. Turn off the cell phone Bluetooth feature.
Answer/ Hang up
The connection is completed, when a call comes in, the speaker will issue a
ringing tone, then press the function key of Hands-free to answer.
Press the function key again to hang up the call.
Voice dialing
Cell phone must support this feature for you to use voice dial. When the
Hands-free is in standby mode, press the function key of Hands-free, which
would connect with cell phone, and then speaker issued a beep, then say a voice
tag dialing.
Redial
When the Hands-free is in standby mode, press the function key of Hands-free
twice,
Hands-free will redial automatic last phone number.

GPS, G-sensor Installation
Put the GPS on the top right of car windshield, as Figure 4.
Affix GPS to the windshield.
GPS Action
LCD will appear the earth icon, when GPS positioned.
Note: Tinted window film may interfere with GPS reception, don’t place
GPS attached to tinted window film.
LED status indication
Red LED always on
1. The screen will appear , when SD card is not inserted at boot time,
then insert the SD card into the SD slot.
. Whenever there is error during recording/playing process, (such as SD
card is removed.), the screen will appear , please insert the SD
card into its slot.
3. Enter preview mode and stop recording.
4. Inadequate capacity of SD card.
5. SD card incompatible.
Flashing Green
1. Recording in progress.
Red/ Green always on
1. Enter main menu mode. (press simultaneously.)
. During system start up process. Duration is around 10 seconds.
Flash Red/ Green
1. When the car starts the engine, the system enters boot mode (about 10
seconds).

Troubleshooting
1. If the LCD monitor appears , please insert the SD card into the SD slot.
2. If the LCD monitor appears , please follow the following steps to
troubleshoot the problem.
Step 1. Check whether SD card has been inserted.
Step 2. Check if the SD card is locked.
Step 3. Check if the SD card available capacity is more than 1GB.
Step 4. Change another SD card, it may be due to compatibility issue.
Step 5. Format SD card using formatting features of this product.
Warning
1. NEVER remove SD card whenever DVR-627 is recording or playing otherwise
the file will be damaged.
2. If SD card inadvertently removed during recording and playback, the system will
first deal to stop recording or playback process that may take a long time to
restore normal key operation.
3. Suggest use the following SD card to avoid potential compatibility issues.
1) SanDisk 2G, 4G, 8G
2) Transcend 2G, 4G, 8G
3) Kingston 4G, 8G
4. Don’t use a micro SD with adapter to avoid potential compatibility issue.
