IAG Performance TGV Housings for 2015+ WRX
Part# IAG-AFD-3004
Tools Required: Ratchet, extension, flat head screw driver,
pop clip pliers
Sockets: 12mm socket
Wrenches: 10mm wrench
Thank you for choosing IAG Performance. The IAG TGV
housings eliminate the OEM tumble generator valves.
*ECU calibration is required. Possible engine damage may
occur without immediately calibrating the ECU after
installation.

1. Using a 10mm wrench undue the negative terminal
from the battery. Using pop clip pliers, remove the two
pop clips that hold the engine cover on. Then carefully
from the front pull upwards and remove the plastic engine
cover.

2. Using a flat head screw driver or 8mm socket and
ratchet loosen the hose clamp that holds the boost pipe to
the top mount intercooler.

3. Using a 12mm socket, remove the intercooler mounting
bolts on either side of the intercooler.
4. Loosen the hose clamp on the intercooler outlet. Then
remove the intercooler from the vehicle being careful not
to damage the fins or ac lines.

5. Using a 12mm socket, remove the (2) 12mm bolts
holding the EGR tube to the back of the intake manifold.
6. Unplug the (2) gray OEM TGV harness connectors on
each side of the intake manifold.
7. Using a 12mm socket, ratchet and extension remove the
(8) 12mm bolts that secure TGV’s to the intake manifold.
*Passenger side bolt locations shown. Similar on driver side.

8. The intake manifold at this point is slightly loose. Pull up
slightly on the intake manifold and carefully pull the
passenger side TGV out towards the fire wall of the
vehicle. *Make sure the OEM intake manifold O-rings do
not fall out. Remove the TGV from the vehicle.

9. Unclip the driver side battery / starter wire harness
from its bracket on the strut tower. Next carefully remove
the TGV by pulling it out towards the firewall. *Make sure
the OEM intake manifold O-rings do not fall out.

10. Slide the new passenger side TGV housing in place.
Make sure the orientation is correct and place the (4)
12mm bolts in place. Thread them in by hand lightly and
repeat for the driver side. Then torque all (8) 12mm bolts
using a ratchet and 12mm socket to 25Nm/18.4 ft-lbs.
11. Reinstall the EGR flange line back on to the intake
manifold using the (2) OEM 12mm bolts. Torque the bolts
to 19Nm/14 ft-lbs.
12. Reinstall the battery / starter wire back on to the
driver side strut tower bracket.
13. Reinstall the Intercooler, OEM engine cover and
negative battery terminal
14. Flash the new ECU MAP into the vehicle. Start the
vehicle, check for leaks.
