2. Getting Started
Installing the SIM card and Memory card
You need to open the SIM door provided at the back side of the
device before you can install the SIM card and storage card. We
recommend you to always turn off the power before installing or
replacing the SIM card and storage card.
To install the SIM card: The SIM card contains your phone
number, service details, and phone book/message memory.
Your device supports 2G, 3G & 4G SIM cards.
1. Pull the SIM door
2. Locate the SIM card slot, and then insert the SIM card with
gold contacts facing down and its cut-off corner facing out
the card slot
3. Push the SIM card completely into the slot
To install the memory card: For additional storage of your
images, videos, music, and files, you can purchase a memory
card and install it into your device.
Note: Please use Round DC PIN charging cable & AC adapter
provide with your device to charge the device

4. Using Slide Features
a. Power ON/OFF: Using the Slide’s Power Key (ON/OFF),
you can get the tablet on Standby, to Restart or Shutdown
b. Making a call: On Home screen, touch Phone to enter the
dial screen
•Call log tab: Select an entry listed in the log to call the
number.
•Contacts tab: Contacts with phone numbers are listed.
Select a contact and then select the phone number to dial.
c. Internet: You device’s networking capabilities allow you to
access Internet using your browser, through Wi-Fi, GPRS,
EDGE, 3G and 4G.
d. E-mail: Using the E-mail option, it is possible to
communicate with people via e-mails.
e. Messaging: Send short messages using the Short
Message Service. After selecting the Create New function,
enter the text message you wish to send. Press the option
key to get Sending options, Input method and more.
f. Photos: In the gallery, you can see captured/saved pictures
and videos.

g. Music: Using the Music Player, you can play your favorite
music. The songs saved in your Memory Card can be
played using the Music Player of the device.
h. Camera: Use the rear and front camera to capture pictures
and record videos.
i. FM Radio: Using this you can play FM channels.
5. Settings
Network & Internet
Wi-Fi: Select Wi-Fi from settings if you wish to use Wi-Fi for your
data connection. Open the Wi-Fi settings screen; select it from
the network list. Provide your username or password if required.
Mobile Networks: Select data roaming capability, Preferred
Networks, Preferred Network Type (4G only, 3G only and 2G
only), Enhanced 4G LTE Mode, Access Point Names & Network
Operators, etc.

Data Usage: It provides a graphical representation of data
usage for a specified Data Usage cycle through Mobile internet
and Wi-
Fi.
Hotspot & tethering: Slide can be used as a wireless modem
for PCs, Tablets and Mobile Phones.
VPN: VPN stands for Virtual Private Mode. Using this feature,
you can connect to your private network through a public
network
Airplane Mode: Using this, you can turn the Airplane mode
ON/OFF.
Connected device
Bluetooth ON/OFF: Tick on the Bluetooth checkbox at Settings
to turn Bluetooth services ON/OFF. With Bluetooth services on,
you can refresh, rename and see the received files.
Printing: To print your photos, document, and more from your
phone, check to see if your printer’s manufacture has an app on
Play Store, Then touch Apps---->Setting---->Printing to get
started
Apps & notification

Notification: Notifications appear at the top of the screen. You
can change the notification alerts settings for applications.
Apps: Using this you can manage your applications in Tablet.
Battery: It gives you the current battery level, along with the
distribution of battery consumption by different apps.
Display: Using the options in Display settings, a wallpaper of
your choice can be set. There are options like auto-rotate screen
and much more.
Sound: Select to open the volume control for Media,
Alarm and Ringtone. You will also get "Vibrate for calls"
and "Do not disturb" options.
Voice call Ringtone: Select your ringtones for incoming
calls for SIM
Default Notification Ringtone: Select a ringtone to use for
a notification.
Default Alarm Ringtone: Select a ringtone to use for alarm.

Other Sounds: You can change the settings here for Dial
pad tones, Screen lock sounds, Charging sounds,
Touchsounds and Vibrate on tap.
Sound Enhancement: Select BesLoudness for volume
booster for speaker.
Storage : View and manage the data storage in your Tablet.
Security & Location
Security: Change the settings of screen lock, SIM card lock,
passwords, device administration and Credential storage.
Location: You can turn location mode ON/OFF completely, or
just change your device's location accuracy mode. Each mode
uses different sources to estimate your device’s location.
User & accounts
Users: Create multiple users for one device.

Accounts: You can add new accounts like Gmail, WhatsApp
etc., here.
Accessibility: These are the settings to help visually impaired
Users.
Google:Includes other Google setting here.
System
Language & Input: Include language settings, keyboard and
input methods and so on.
Date & Time: Enables you to set your device’s date and time
settings.
Backup & Reset: If you reset Slide to the settings that were
configured at the factory, all of your personal data from internal
storage, including information about your Gmail Account, any other
accounts, your system and application settings, and any
downloaded applications, will be erased.
Developer Options: This provides you with the option to
customize the device settings.

model number, kernel version, build number, android version,
etc.
6. Applications
Gmail: Configure your Gmail account in phone and access your
mails.
Google Search: Google Search for Android ia an application by
Google which integrates Google search and Google Now into an
application for Android phones
Maps: Use this application to pinpoint the location of the device,
search for places, or get directions.
Play Movies & TV: Enjoy Movies and TV shows on Play Movies
& TV. Some are for rental, some for purchase, and others for
both rental and purchase.
Play Store: Use this application to purchase and download
applications and games that are able to run on your Slide.

Information
Warning
Use only the chargers and accessories approved for use with
this particular model. The use of any other types may invalidate
any approval or warranty, and may be dangerous. For
availability of approved accessories, please check with your
dealer.
Battery and Charger Information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Polymer
battery. iBall may make additional battery models available for
this device. The battery can be charged and discharged many
times, but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby
times are noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery.
Use only iBall approved batteries, and recharge your battery
only with iBall approved chargers designated for this device. If a
battery is being used for the first time or if the battery has not
been used for a prolonged period, it may be necessary to
connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it to begin
charging the battery. If the battery is completely discharged, it
may take several minutes before the charging indicator appears
on the display or before any calls can be made.

Safety Information
•Please do not use Slide during charging. Always
disconnect the Slide from charger before use.
•Keep the Slide at least an inch away from your body while
dialing/answering calls.
•Do not use the Slide if the screen is cracked or broken.
Cracked or broken screen could cause injury to hands
and/or face.
•Avoid exposing your Slide and batteries to extreme
temperature.
•Your device contains electronics parts and circuits. Keep
them out of the reach of small children.
•Switch off your device in any area with a potentially
explosive atmosphere.
