USB Fingerprint Device: Model: MPH-SE001A
This is a Secure Identification and Authentication device, i.e., a
Biometric Device. It uses automated methods of verifying or
recognizing the identity of a person through fingerprints.
Note:
Please use the TOP Micro USB port for Mass Storage (PC connectivity)
only.
Bottom USB 2.0 Port support for OTG connectivity. You cannot use both
USB ports at a time.

Note:
There are 2 Micro USB - one on top, one at the bottom. And there is 1
USB 2.0. You cannot use all three USB ports at a time.
Please use the Top Micro USB port for Mass Storage (PC connectivity)
only.
Bottom Micro USB port & normal USB support for OTG connectivity.
Please use Round DC PIN charging cable & AC adapter provided with
your device to charge the device.

2. Getting started
Installing the SIM card and Memory card
Note:
Your device has a Hybrid SIM slot. You can insert 2 SIM cards or
1 SIM card & an SD card at a time. Please insert SIM card & SD
card as per marking in the tray.

SIM card Tray is located near the top left corner of your Slide.
You need to remove SIM Tray through the ejector (Pin) & place
the SIM card & SD card as per marking given on the tray. Also
make sure to always turn off the power before installing or
replacing the SIM card and a Micro SD card.
To install the SIM card: The SIM card contains your contact
number, service details, and phonebook/message memory. Your
device supports 2G, 3G & 4G SIM cards.
To install the memory card: To have additional storage for your
images, videos, music, and files, you can purchase a memory
card and install it into your device.

3. Using Slide features

a. Turn-on the phone function ON or OFF: To enable or disable Airplane
Mode:
I. Touch-->Settings-->More settings…-->Airplane mode
II. Touch ‘Airplane Mode’ to enable or disable
b. Making a call: On the Home screen, touch --> Phone to enter the dial
screen
I. Call logs tab: select an entry listed in the log to call the number.
II. Contacts tab: Contacts with phone numbers are listed. Select a
contact and then select the phone number to dial.
c. Internet: Your device’s networking capabilities allow you to access the
internet using a browser, through Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, 3G & 4G.
d. E-mail: Using the Email, you can send or receive emails from other email
accounts.
e. Messaging: Select whether you want to create SMS after entering create
new functions. Enter a text message, press option key to get the following
options. There are different options available for SMS like Sending options
and much more.
f. Gallery: Using gallery, you can see pictures and video.
g. Music: Use the Music player to play music files. The songs saved in your
Memory Card can be played using the Music Player of the device.
h. Camera: Use the rear and front camera to capture the picture and record
the video.
i. Calendar: Use Calendar to create and manage events, meetings, and
appointments.
j. Video Player: Using this you can play your videos from the gallery.
k. FM Radio: This device presents radio function. Using this you can
play FM channels.
l. File Manager: The tablet provides a certain space for users to manage
files and supports the memory card. You can use file manager to
conveniently manage various directories and files on internal storage and
memory card. Choose file manager and press options to perform operations
like ‘Open’, ‘New folder’, ‘Rename’, ‘Delete’, 'Copy', 'Cut' and more.

Wireless & Networks
Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi On/Off: Select Wi-Fi checkbox from settings if you prefer to use Wi-Fi for
your data connection.
Wi-Fi Settings: Open the Wi-Fi from settings screen and select the network you
need to connect from the list. Provide your username or password if required.
Ethernet:
Now user can connect LAN cable to access network/internet through USB port
(USB to LAN converter required)
Bluetooth:
Bluetooth On/Off: Use Bluetooth checkbox from settings to turn Bluetooth
services On or Off.
Bluetooth settings: With Bluetooth services on, you can open the Bluetooth
settings screen to Refresh, rename Bluetooth and show received files.
SIM cards: You can select to activate or deactivate the SIM card you want to
open. Set the default SIM to use for Cellular data, calls and messaging.
Data Usage: It provides a graphical representation of data usage for a specified
Data usage cycle through Mobile internet or Wi-Fi.
More Settings:
Airplane Mode: Using this you can On/Off Airplane mode.
Tethering & Portable Hotspot: The device can be used as a Wireless/Wired
modem for a PC, Tablet or Mobile.
VPN: VPN stands for Virtual Private Mode. Using this feature, you can connect to
your private network through a public network.
Cellular Networks: For both SIM cards, select Data Roaming Capability,
Preferred Networks, Preferred Network type (4G, 3G or 2G), Enhanced 4G LTE
Mode, Access Point Names & Network Operators, etc.
Device
Display: Using the various options in ‘display’, you can set your wallpaper, auto
rotate screen and many more.

Notifications: Notifications appear at the top of the screen. You can give
permissions to Notifications for applications.
Sound:
Select to open the volume control for Media, Alarm and Ringtone. You will also
get “Vibrate for calls” and “Do not disturb” options.
Voice call Ringtone: Select your ringtones for incoming calls for SIM1 and SIM2.
Default Notification Ringtone: Select a ringtone to use for a notification.
Default Alarm Ringtone: Select a ringtone to use for alarm.
Other Sounds: You can change the settings here for Dial pad tones, Screen lock
sounds, Charging sounds, Touch-sounds and Vibrate on tap.
Sound Enhancement: Select BesLoudness for volume booster for speaker.
Apps: Using this you can configure & manage your applications in the Slide.
Storage: View and manage the data storage on your slide.
Battery: It gives you the current battery level, along with the distribution of
battery consumption by different apps
Users: Create multiple users for one device.
Personal
Location: You can choose how you want to share location in the settings.
Choose "High Accuracy" to use Wi-Fi, GPS and cell data, set your location,
"Battery saves" to only use cellular and Wi-Fi, or "Device only" to use the stand-
alone GPS sensor on your device.
Security: Change the settings of screen lock, SIM card lock, passwords, device
administration and Credential storage.

Gesture Control: Gesture Control allows you to control your device with simple
gestures. Just swipe your finger across the screen, and the action you want will
be performed
Accounts: You can add new accounts like Gmail, etc.
Google: You can find Include other Google settings.
Language & Input: Include language settings, keyboard and input methods and
so on.
Backup & Reset: If you reset your tablet to the settings that were configured at
the factory, all of your personal data from internal storage, including information
about your Google Account, any other accounts, your system and application
settings, and any downloaded applications, will be erased.
System
Date & Time: You can set your device’s date and time settings here.
Accessibility: These are the settings to help visually impaired users.
Printing: To print your photos, documents, and more from your Slide, check if
your printer’s manufacturer has an app on Google Play Store. Then touch Apps --
>Settings -->Printing to get started.
Developer Options: This provides you with the option to customize the device’s
settings.
Scheduled Power On & Off: You can set the scheduled time at which you
automatically want your device to be On/Off.
About iBall Slide: This provides the device information like model number,
kernel version, build number, android version etc.

Gmail: Configure your Gmail account in Slide and access your mails.
Maps: Use this application to pinpoint the location of the device, search for
places, or get directions.
Play Movies &TV: Enjoy Movies and TV Shows on Play Movies & TV. Some are
for rent, some for purchase and others for both rental and purchase.
Play Music: This is a Google initiative in the music world. Using this you can
create libraries and enjoy the songs.
Play Store: Use this application to purchase and download applications and
games that are able to run on your Slide.
YouTube: Browse the videos using this application. It is the direct link to the
website www.youtube.com.

Warning
Use only the chargers, and accessories approved for use with this particular
model. The use of any other types may invalidate any approval or warranty, and
may be dangerous. For availability of approved accessories, please check with
your dealer.
Battery and Charger Information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable Polymer battery. iBall may make
additional battery models available for this device. The battery can be charged
and discharged many times, but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and
standby times are noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery. Use only
iBall approved batteries, and recharge your battery only with iBall approved
chargers designated for this device. If a battery is being used for the first time or if
the battery has not been used for a prolonged period, it may be necessary to
connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it to begin charging the
battery. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes
before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be
made.
Safety Information
Please do not use Slide during charging. Disconnect Slide from charger
before use.
Keep the Slide at least an inch away from your body while dialing/answering
calls.
Do not use the Slide if the screen is cracked or broken. Cracked or broken
screen could cause injury to hands and/or face.
Avoid exposing your Slide and batteries to extreme temperature - where the
air is extremely cold, extremely hot (-10°C ~ 40°C), or too humid.
Your Slide contains electronic parts and circuits. Keep them out of the reach
of small children.
Switch off your Slide in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
Obey all posted instructions.
