Front camera: A build-in webcam that allow you to capture still images, record
videos, and chat online.
Back camera: You can take photo & recording videos
Micro SD card Slot: Insert a Micro SD memory card to further expand the
capabilities of your iBall Slide; you can exchange data material with iBall Slide.
Speaker: Produces sound from multimedia files.
Micro USB power port: With a Micro USB cable, connects AC power supply to
power the deice and charger the battery
Mini-HDMI Port: To connect TV, Monitor or Projector this had HDMI port
facility. (HDMI cable is not included with Slide accessories).
Audio jack (integrated MIC): Connects 3.5mm earphone to play audio or chat
online
Battery charger indicator: Refer to ‘’Battery charger indicator’’ on page 9 for
details.
Power Button: Press to power on/ off your iBall Slide, or put it to sleep or
hibernate and wake it up from sleep or hibernate mode.

Volume Key: To adjust the system volume (+Volume increase/ -Volume
decrease)
Microphone: Receives sounds and voices for recording.
Reset Button: When system abnormal, press Reset Button for 5 to 10 sec.
Note: You need to charge your iBall Slide every three months; otherwise
battery life will be adversely affected.

Charging your iBall Slide

Connecting power
Connect the micro USB connector to your device, and connect the USB
connector to the power adapter, then plug the AC adapter into any Indian pin
AC outlet.
Note: It is normal for the table surface to become warm during charging or
long periods of use.

Microsoft Office 365
Activation Guide for iBall
Slide i701
iBall Slide i701 comes with a one year free license of Microsoft Office 365
(including Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote & Outlook) and 1TB One
Drive cloud storage. Please refer to the quick user guide below to help
you with the activation process of MS Office.
Step 1 –After you power on the Slide, it will ask you to complete the initial basic
configuration settings. To complete these, please follow the onscreen
instructions provided on your device screen step by step. It will take approx. 5-
10 minutes to complete the configuration process and start your Slide.
Step 2–Once the initial basic configuration is done, you will find the MS Office
icon in the start menu. You will need to scroll on the left side of the screen to
see the MS office icon. A reference image is also provided below for the same.

Step 3 –Now, select the MS office icon and follow the onscreen instructions
provided step by step in order to activate MS Office. Please make sure that
before you start installing MS Office, your device should be connected to
internet as well as Login with old or new outlook account.
In case the MS Office icon is not visible in the start menu, you are suggested to
perform the below steps.

Step 4 –On the bottom of the start page, there is a down arrow, tap on it and it
will take you to the complete list of all the applications.
Step 5 –After you are on the applications list page, you will find the MS Office
icon there. Please refer to the reference image provided. Select MS Office icon
from the list.

Step 6 –Now, repeat Step 3 again to complete the activation process, i.e.
follow the instructions provided step by step in order to activate MS Office.
Note1: MS Office should be activated within 3 to 5 months of purchase of
Tablet. The last date valid for activation will be shown to you once you
select the MS Office icon and start the activation process.
Note2: One year Unlimited Cloud storage will be available only after MS
Office is activated. In case MS Office is not activated it will be only 15GB.

Warning
Use only chargers, and accessories approved for use with this particular model.
The use of any other types may invalidate any approval or warranty, and may
be dangerous .For availability of approved accessories, please check with your
dealer.
Battery and charger information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. iBall may make
additional battery models available for this device. The battery can be charged
and discharged many times, but it will eventually wear out. When the standby
times are noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery. Use only iBall
approved batteries, and recharge your battery only with iBall approved chargers
designated for this device. If a battery is being used for the first time or if the
battery has not been used for a prolonged period, it may be necessary to
connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it to begin charging the
battery. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes
before the charging indicator appears on the display.

Safety information
Please do not use Slide during charging. Disconnect Slide from charger before
use.
Do not use the Slide if the screen is cracked or broken. Cracked or broken
screen could cause injury to hands.
Avoid exposing your Slide to extreme temperature.
Your device contains electronics parts and circuits. Keep them out of the reach
of small children.
Switch off your device in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
Obey all posted instructions.
Protect environment
Save energy
You do not need to charge your Slide battery so often if you do the following:
-Close applications and data connections, for example, your Bluetooth
connection, when not in use.
-Deactivate unnecessary sounds, such as touch screen and key tones.
