Power outage
When electricpowerisinterrupted the microprocessorwill holdall relevant information inmemory exceptfor
the currenttime ofday.
Currenttime ofday
When powerisrestored the displaywill Flashand go tothe Time-HourSetting. Press SETHOUR and input
the current TimeOF Day. Ifpower islostduring aregeneration cyclethevalve will remain operational
in thecurrentcycleand will recommence electricallyin thatcyclewhen power isrestored.
In long power outages itisadvisableto check thatthesystem isnotin aregeneration cyclethatcould
bedischarging water to drain and in thisinstance itwould beadvisableto place thevalve in bypass
modeuntil power isrestored.

Note: When changing valveoperationalcyclesthe valvecontrolwill emit anumberofwhirring sounds.
Note:-The valvecannot be positioned intothe regeneration mode without ELECTRICPower.
USERDISPLAYS.
General Operation
When the systemisoperating one ortwodisplayswill be shown. Pressing
the UPorDOWNbutton will alternatebetween the displays. One ofthe
displaysisthe Current TimeofDaytothe nearest HOUR and the second
Displayisthe daysremaining until the next regeneration. Ifthe days
remaining isequaltoONEthen regeneration will takeplaceat the next
preset regeneration time. The usercan scroll between the displaysas
desired.
Ifthe systemhascalled foraregeneration at the preset timethen an
arrowwill point to“Regen.“ on the panelface.
RegenerationMode
Typicallyasoftenerisset toregenerateat atimeofNO orlowwater
usage. Factory default is 2am . Ifthereisademand forwaterwhen the
systemisregenerating then Hardwateronlywill be available. Ifasystem
demandsthat no hardwaterisbypassed during regeneration , then the
softenerwill havetohaveaHardWaterBypass Prevention Solenoid
Valvefitted.
When the systembeginstoregenerate, the displaywill change to
indicatethe variouscyclesofthe regeneration process C1>C5 and an
arrowwill point toRegen. The systemwill automaticallystep through the
regeneration cyclesand reset back tothe servicecyclewhen the
regeneration iscomplete.
Manual Regeneration
Amanualregeneration can be initiated intwoways. Delayed or
Immediate.
ForDelayed atthepresettime ofregeneration: SimultaneouslyPress
▼buttons togetherand release. Anarrowwill appearnext to
Regen.Thisrequest can be cancelled if necessary byagain
simultaneouslypressing the ▼buttonstogether.
ForImmediateregeneration: SimultaneouslyPress ▼buttons
togetherforabout 5secondsuntil the valvechangestothe C1 mode.
The softenerwill begintoregenerateimmediately. Thisrequest cannot
be cancelled.
