Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite
accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as
in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power
tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug
in any way. Do not use any adapted plugs with earthed(grounded)
power tools. Modified plugs and un-matching outlets will increase
the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as
pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water
entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or
unplugging the power tool. Keep it away from heat, oil, sharp edges
or moving parts.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord
suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electric shock.

when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you
are tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A moment of
inattention while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will
reduce personal injuries.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-
position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack,
picking up or carrying the tool.
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power
tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the
power tool may result in personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
Dress properly, say no to loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your
hair, clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or
long hair can be caught in moving parts.

Keep your hands away from cutting area and the blade. Hold the
power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only and second hand
on motor housing. Keep your body positioned to either side of the
blade, but not in line with the blade.
Do not hold the material to be worked in your hands, it’s
important that the material be adequately clamped down, reducing
the contact with the body and the possibility of losing control.
Do not operate the tool on surfaces under which there might be
electrical wires, and water or gas pipes. The contact with wires
or water might cause electrical shocks. The motor generates sparks
that, if in contact with flammable gases, might cause explosion.
Always use blades (cutting wheel) of correct sizes and with
round holes. *Suitable blade might be available with the product,
use of it is highly recommended. Use only diamond cutting
wheels for your power tool. Blades with shapes that don’t match
the backing flange on which they’ll be assembled will work in an
irregular way, causing loss of control of the tool.
Do not overload your tool, use it only for the adequate purpose.
Using the power tools for purposes that are different from what is
indicated in this manual (refer ‘Intended Use’) might lead to
hazardous situations.
Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop, note that there is
a period of inertial movement before the tool stops, after it’s
turned OFF.
The use of this tool create and/or spread dust that may cause
serious and permanent respiratory injuries. To reduce the
exposure to these substances, work in well-ventilated places and
always use dust mask.
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
Wear safety goggles or eye protection when using this power
tool. For additional protection against electric shock, be sure to
wear rubber gloves.

7
Never force the tool. Forcing the tool can cause uneven cuts,
loss of accuracy, and possible kickback. Push the tool forward at
a speed so that the blade cuts without slowing.
When operating the tool, keep the cord away from the cutting
area and position it so that it will not be caught on the work piece
during the cutting operation.
Blade depth and adjusting locking knob must be tight and
secure before making cut. If blade adjustment shifts while
cutting, it may cause binding and kickback.
Never attempt to cut with the tool held upside down in a
vice/workbench. This is extremely dangerous and can lead to
serious accidents.
When using the water feed, be careful not to let water get into
the motor. If water runs into the motor, an electric shock hazard
may result. Do not stand in water when operating the power tool.
Keep the power tool dry when applying water to the cutting
wheel. Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Keep bystanders
away from water and electricity.
Keep bystanders a safe distance away from work area. Anyone
entering the work area must wear personal protective equipment.
Fragments of work piece or of a broken cutting wheel may fly away
and cause injury beyond immediate area of operation.
Make sure the cutting wheel is not contacting the work piece
before the switch is turned on. Wait until the cutting wheel attains
full speed before cutting. Stop operation immediately if you notice
anything abnormal.
Always wait until the power tool has come to a complete stop
before placing it down. Do not stop the cutting wheel by lateral
pressure on the disc.
When an extension cord is required you must ensure it has the
correct ampere rating for your power tool and that it is in a safe
electrical condition. Fully unwind the extension cords inorder to
avoid potential overheating.
WARNING! Misuse or failure to follow the safety rules stated in
this instruction manual may cause serious personal injury.

This marble cutter is designed for light professional use; used
horizontally on a solid base and it should be used for wet
cutting mineral materials such as marble, granite, etc.
This can also be used for cutting other materials including wood,
metal etc., (light use only). The design allows good control over
the angle and the depth of reach at all times.
We can make a clean cut so that the end product needs a lesser
amount of finishing. By using the proper blade and this machine,
we can do the marble cutting in the least time.
It is a powerful and compact tool for cutting that works quite
precisely and fast. We can adjust the plate to make angled cuts as
well.
The cutting wheel has a position that gives the best reach to the
work piece and improves the efficiency of cutting. *We can
interchange the blades to suit different work pieces. The blade is
spindle mounted so we can fix and remove it fast.

Before adjusting the depth of cut, ensure that the power tool is
facing away from you. Then:
The cutter can be adjusted to cut at angles between 0° and 45°.
Always make a trial cut in a scrap piece of material along a
guideline to determine how much you should offset the cutting
wheel from the guideline to make an accurate cut.

For bevelling (angle cutting), follow the steps below:
Loosen the bevel locking bolt (2) on the bevel scale plate (3) on
the front of the base plate.
Tilt the body of the tool until the required angle is reached using
the bevel scale as a guide.
Tighten the bevel locking bolt to secure the base plate.
Loosen the locking bolt on the depth guide and move the base
plate so that the cutting depth is less than or equal 20mm. Then
tighten the locking bolt to secure the base plate.
If the cutting depth is more than 20mm, the outer flange may hit
the work piece when you perform the bevel cut.
Diamond cutting wheel of 125 mm should be used. Only use
sharp and undamaged cutting wheels. Cracked or distorted cutting
wheels must be replaced immediately.
Follow the steps and figure below for mounting/ replacing:
Place the tool on its side on a flat surface. Hold the outer flange
with the spanner wrench provided.
Loosen the hex bolt clockwise with the socket wrench provided.
Remove the bolt and outer flange. Remove the cutting wheel from
the inner flange and pull it out.
Do not touch the blade with your bare hand immediately after
cutting, it may be extremely hot and could burn your skin. Put on
a pair of gloves when removing a hot blade.
Clean the flanges thoroughly before mounting the cutting wheel.
Mount the new or existing cutting wheel onto the spindle and
against the inner flange.
Replace the outer flange and tighten the hex bolt anticlockwise.

Hold the power tool firmly. Align the front part of the tool with
the cut line on the work piece. Set the base plate on the work
piece to be cut without the cutting wheel making any contact.
Then turn the power tool on and wait until the cutting wheel
attains full speed.
Now simply move the power tool forward over the work piece
surface, keeping it flat and advancing smoothly until the cutting
is completed. Keep your cutting line straight and your speed of
advance uniform (to make the cut line continuous).
The depth of cut can be adjusted by the depth locking knob and
depth guide. Adjusting the bevel locking bolt, bevelling can be
scaled up to 45° (Refer above for the assembly).
If wet cutting is desired, turn the water supply valve to start
water flow.
For cutting deeper than 20 mm, make two or more notches to
prevent the motor from obscuring. Since excessive cutting may
cause overload of the motor, the depth of cut should not be more
than 20 mm at a pass. When you wish to cut more than 20 mm
deep, make a couple of passes with progressively deeper settings.
GENERAL OPERATION
NOTE: Always switch the product off, disconnect the product from the
power supply and let the product cool down before performing
inspection, maintenance and cleaning work! Only perform repairs and
maintenance work according to these instructions! All further works
must be performed by a qualified specialist!
IBL MC25-84
WARNING! Never twist or force the tool in the cut. This may
cause motor overload and/or a dangerous kickback, resulting in
serious injury to the operator.
This power tool should only be used on horizontal surfaces.
Do not use a deformed or cracked blade. Replace it with a new one.
Draw a guideline along the desired line of cut before beginning
your cut. Also, guide the power tool evenly and with light feed in
the cutting direction.

15
Keep the tool clean. Keep the ventilation slots clean and free
from obstructions. If available, blow compressed air into the
vents to clear any internal dust (safety goggles must be worn
when undertaking this process). Accumulation of dust in the
motor or on the base may cause a malfunction of the tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your tool.
Wipe it clean with a dry cloth. Your power tool requires no
additional lubrication.
Cleaning covers or guards; When accumulation of dust on the
cover looks excessive, loosen the clamp and remove the cover.
Wash off accumulation of dust inside the cover and wipe it and
reinstall. Cleaning of the wheel could be done as well.
We recommend using the original package for covering the
product or suitable means to protect it against dust.
Before and after each use, check the product and accessories (or
attachments) for wear and damage.
Inspecting cutting wheel; Check the cutting blade or wheel
carefully for cracks or damage before and after each use.
Continuing to use a dull blade may cause a dangerous kickback
and/or motor overload. Dressing could be suitable or replace with
a new blade as soon as it no longer cuts effectively.
Dressing diamond wheel: If the cutting action of the diamond
wheel begins to diminish, use an old discarded coarse grit grinder
wheel for dressing (There are other means as well).
Inspecting the supply cord; Do not pull or carry the tool by the
electric cord or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements,
rough surfaces, oil or chemicals that may damage its flexible and
insulating properties. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
IBL MC25-84

16
Inspecting carbon brushes; The motor employs carbon brushes
which are consumable parts. Keep the brushes clean so that they
move freely on the support. Remove and check the carbon
brushes quite often. To inspect or replace the carbon brushes, use
a screwdriver to remove the rear cover and take out the carbon
brushes. Replace when they wear down to an extended limit since
an excessively worn carbon brush results in motor trouble.
Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time.
Use only identical carbon brushes.
The accessories or attachments included with the tool are
recommended only for use with this product. The use of any
other accessories or attachments might present a risk of injury to
persons. Only use accessory or attachment for its stated purpose.
This product does not contain any parts that can be repaired
by the consumer. Contact an authorised service centre or a
similarly qualified person to have it checked and repaired.
