Introduction
IDEXX Quanti-Tray/Legiolert is designed to give quantitated bacterial counts of 100 mL samples using IDEXX Legiolert reagent only.
Add the Legiolert reagent/sample mixture to a Quanti-Tray, seal it in a Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS and incubate per the reagent instructions.
Count the number of positive wells and use the attached Legiolert Most Probable Number (MPN) Table, or the IDEXX Automated MPN
Generator Program found at idexx.com/water, to determine the MPN.

This package contains sterile 96-well Quanti-Tray/Legiolert trays. Store at 4-30°C away from light and humidity.
User Instructions
1. Use one hand to hold a Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert upright with the well side
facing the palm.
2. Squeeze the upper part of the
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert so that the
Quanti-Tray bends toward the palm.
3. Open the Quanti-Tray/Legiolert by
pulling the back away from the well side.
Avoid touching the inside of the tray.
4. Pour the reagent/sample mixture
directly into the Quanti-Tray/Legiolert,
avoiding contact with the inside of
the tray.
5. Place the sample-filled Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert onto the rubber insert of the
Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS with the well
side (plastic) of the Quanti-Tray facing
down to fit into the insert.
6. Seal according to the Quanti-Tray
Sealer PLUS instructions.
7. Large wells will not completely fill.
8. Incubate according to reagent
instructions.
9. Count positive wells and refer to
the Legiolert MPN table on the
back of this instruction sheet,
or the IDEXX Automated MPN
Generator Program found at
idexx.com/water to find the MPN.†
10. Dispose of media in accordance with
good laboratory practices.

Introduction
IDEXX Quanti-Tray/Legiolert est conçu pour effectuer des numérations bactériennes dans des échantillons de 100 ml à l’aide du réactif
Legiolert IDEXX uniquement. Ajoutez le mélange réactif Legiolert/échantillon dans un Quanti-Tray, fermez hermétiquement avec la
scelleuse Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS puis incubez conformément au mode d’emploi du réactif. Comptez le nombre de puits positifs et
utilisez la table des Nombres les plus probables (NPP) Legiolert ci-jointe, ou le programme automatisé IDEXX Automated MPN Generator
Program trouvé à l’adresse idexx.com/water, pour déterminer le NPP.

Ce kit contient des Quanti-Tray stériles de 96 puits Quanti-Tray/Legiolert. Conservez entre 4-30°C, à l’abri de la lumière et de l’humidité.
Instructions d’utilisation
1. Avec une seule main, prenez un
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert et tenez-le
à la verticale en orientant les puits
vers la paume de la main.
2. Appuyez sur la partie supérieure du
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert afin qu’il vienne
se loger dans la paume de la main.
3. Ouvrez le Quanti-Tray/Legiolert en
écartant la languette des puits.
Évitez tout contact avec la partie
intérieure du plateau.
4. Versez directement le mélange
réactif/échantillon dans le
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert, en évitant tout
contact avec l’intérieur du plateau.
5. Placez le Quanti-Tray/Legiolert rempli
d’échantillons sur le porte-plateau en
caoutchouc de la scelleuse Quanti-
Tray Sealer PLUS en veillant à orienter
les puits (parties en plastique) du
Quanti-Tray vers le bas afin qu’elles
viennent s’encastrer parfaitement
dans le support à Quanti-Tray.
6. Fermez hermétiquement le
Quanti-Tray conformément au
mode d’emploi de la scelleuse
Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS.
7. Les grands puits ne seront pas
complètement remplis.
8. Incubez conformément au mode
d’emploi du réactif.
9. Comptez le nombre de puits positifs,
et référez-vous à la table NPP au verso
de cette fiche d’instructions, ou utilisez
le programme automatisé IDEXX
Automated MPN Generator Program
trouvé à l’adresse idexx.com/water
pour déterminer le NPP.†
10. Éliminez les réactifs conformément
aux Bonnes pratiques de laboratoire.

Introduzione
IDEXX Quanti-Tray/Legiolert è stato formulato per calcolare cariche batteriche in campioni da 100 ml usando solo reagenti IDEXX Legiolert.
Aggiungere in un Quanti-Tray il campione in cui precedentemente e’ stato aggiunto il reagente Legiolert , sigillare con un Quanti-Tray Sealer
PLUS e incubare secondo le istruzioni accluse al reagente. Contare il numero di pozzetti positivi e usare l’acclusa tabella “Numero Più
Probabile” (MPN), o il programma IDEXX Automated MPN Generator, reperibile in idexx.com/water, per determinare l’MPN.

Questa confezione contiene vassoi Quanti-Tray/Legiolert sterili, da 96 pozzetti. Conservare a 4 – 30 °C lontano da luce diretta e umidità.
Istruzioni per l’uso
1. Tenere il Quanti-Tray/Legiolert in
posizione verticale con una mano,
con la faccia dei pozzetti rivolta
verso il palmo.
2. Comprimere la parte superiore del
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert in modo da
piegare il vassoio verso il palmo.
3. Aprire il Quanti-Tray/Legiolert tirando
via il retro del vassoio dalla parte
del vassoio con i pozzetti. Evitare di
toccare l’interno del vassoio.
4. Versare la miscela di reagente/
campione direttamente nel
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert, evitando ogni
contatto con l’interno del vassoio.
5. Posizionare il Quanti-Tray/Legiolert
appena riempito con il campione,
sull’inserto in gomma del Quanti-Tray
Sealer PLUS con la parte dei pozzetti
(plastica) del Quanti-Tray rivolta
verso il basso in modo da adattarsi
all’inserto.
6. Sigillare seguendo le istruzioni del
Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS.
7. I pozzetti di grandi dimensioni non
verranno riempiti completamente.
8. Incubare seguendo le istruzioni
sul reagente.
9. Contare i pozzetti positivi e calcolare
l’MPN facendo riferimento alla tabella
MPN Legiolert sul retro del foglio di
istruzioni, o usando il programma
IDEXX Automated MPN Generator
reperibile a idexx.com/water.†
10. Smaltire i terreni secondo le Buone
Prassi di Laboratorio.

Introduction
IDEXX Quanti-Tray/Legiolert é projetado para fazer contagens bacterianas quantitativas de amostras de 100 ml usando exclusivamente
o reagente IDEXX Legiolert. Adicione a mistura do reagente/amostra Legiolert ao Quanti-Tray, sele-o em uma seladora Quanti-Tray
Sealer PLUS e incube de acordo com as instruções do reagente. Conte o número de cavidades positivas e use a Tabela do número mais
provável (Most Probable Number, MPN) da Legiolert, ou o Programa gerador de MPN automático do IDEXX que pode ser encontrado no
idexx.com/water, para determinar o MPN.

Este pacote contém cartelas estéreis de 96 cavidades Quanti-Tray/Legiolert. Armazene entre 4-30°C, longe da luz e da umidade.
Instruções para o usuário
1. Use uma das mãos para segurar o
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert para cima com
o lado onde estão as cavidades
voltado para a palma da mão.
2. Aperte a parte superior do
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert para
que o Quanti-Tray se incline
em direção à palma da mão.
3. Abra o Quanti-Tray/Legiolert puxando
a parte de trás em direção oposta ao
lado das cavidades. Evite tocar a parte
interior da cartela.
4. Pingue a mistura do reagente/amostra
diretamente no Quanti-Tray/Legiolert,
evitando contato com o interior
da cartela.
5. Coloque a amostra preenchida do
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert no inserto de
borracha da seladora Quanti-Tray
Sealer PLUS com o lado das cavidades
(plástico) do Quanti-Tray voltado para
baixo, para que se encaixe no inserto.
6. Sele de acordo com as instruções da
seladora Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS.
7. As cavidades grandes não serão
totalmente preenchidas.
8. Incube de acordo com as
instruções do reagente.
9. Para encontrar o MPN, conte as
cavidades positivas e consulte a
Tabela MPN Legiolert na parte de
trás deste folheto de instruções,
ou no Programa gerador de MPN
automático do IDEXX que
encontra-se no idexx.com/water.†
10. Descarte os meios de acordo com
as boas práticas de laboratório.

Este paquete contiene 100 bandejas Quanti-Tray estériles, de 51 celdas c/u.
Instrucciones para el usuario
1. Este envase contiene bandejas de
96 pocillos estériles Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert.
2. Presione la parte superior de
Quanti-Tray/Legiolert de modo que
Quanti-Tray se doble hacia la palma
de su mano en forma de embudo.
3. Abra Quanti-Tray/Legiolert tirando de la
parte posterior hacia la parte opuesta
de la cara de los pocillos. Evite tocar el
interior de la bandeja.
4. Vierta la mezcla del reactivo y la
muestra directamente en Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert, evitando el contacto con la
parte interior de la bandeja.
5. Coloque Quanti-Tray/Legiolert con
la muestra en el molde de goma
de Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS con el
lado de los pocillos (plástico) de
Quanti-Tray mirando hacia abajo
para encajar en el molde.
6. Séllelo según las instrucciones del
sellador Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS.
7. Los pocillos grandes no se
llenarán completamente.
8. Incube de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del reactivo.
9. Cuente los pocillos positivos y
consulte la tabla de Número más
probable de Legiolert en el reverso
de esta hoja de instrucciones o del
programa generador automatizado de
Número Más Probable de IDEXX que
encontrará en idexx.com/water para
obtener el NMP.†

Lieferumfang
Diese Packung enthält sterile Quanti-Tray/Legiolert-Trays mit 96 Vertiefungen. Bei 4–30°C und vor Licht und Feuchtigkeit geschützt lagern.
Gebrauchsanweisung
1. Ein Quanti-Tray/Legiolert mit einer
Hand aufrecht halten, wobei die
Seite mit den Vertiefungen zur
Handfläche zeigt.
2. Den oberen Teil des Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert so zusammendrücken,
dass sich das Quanti-Tray zur
Handfläche biegt.
3. Das Quanti-Tray/Legiolert durch
Abziehen der Abdeckung von den
Vertiefungen öffnen. Das Innere des
Trays nicht berühren.
4. Die Probe/Reagenz-Mischung direkt
in das Quanti-Tray/Legiolert geben;
dabei Kontakt mit dem Inneren des
Trays vermeiden.
5. Das mit der Probe gefüllte Quanti-Tray/
Legiolert so auf die Gummieinlage
des Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS legen,
dass die Seite des Quanti-Trays mit
den Vertiefungen (Kunststoffseite)
nach unten zeigt und in die
Gummimatte passt.
6. Gemäß den Anweisungen für den
Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS versiegeln.
7. Große Vertiefungen werden nicht
vollständig gefüllt.
8. Gemäß den Anweisungen für das
Reagenz inkubieren.†
9. Die positiven Vertiefungen zählen
und die MPN mithilfe der Legiolert-
MPN-Tabelle auf der Rückseite dieser
Anleitung oder des IDEXX Programms
zur automatischen MPN-Ermittlung auf
idexx.com bestimmen.†
10. Die Medien sind gemäß der Guten
Laborpraxis zu entsorgen.
