1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Strömungssensor erfaßt den Durchflußvon Wasser und setzt
ihn in ein analoges Ausgangssignal um (4 ... 20 mA). Zusätzlich
zeigt er den aktuellen Durchflußdurch eine LED-Kette an.
•Für nahtlose Präzisionsstahlrohre nach DIN 2391 Teil 1 und T-Stücke
nach DIN 2353. Das Gerät ist für folgende T-Stücke /
Erfassungsbereiche parametrierbar:
Typischer Meßfehler für Medium
Wasser bei verschiedenen
Mediumstemperaturen.

3. Montage
Um Fehlfunktionen zu vermei-
den, müssen Mindestabstände
zwischen Strömungswächter
und Krümmungen, Ventilen,
Reduzierungen u. ä. eingehalten
werden:
•Mindestens 5 mal
Rohrdurchmesser an der
Anströmseite (A).
•Mindestens 3 mal
Rohrdurchmesser an der
Abströmseite (B).
(Die Angaben gelten für lamina-
re Strömungsverhältnisse).
1. Fetten Sie die Überwurfmutter
(A) mit Schmierpaste ein, um
mehrmaliges Lösen und
Festziehen der Mutter zu
gewährleisten. Achtung: Es
darf kein Fett auf die
Sensorspitze gelangen.
2. Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe
(B) der Sensorspitze. Setzen
Sie das Gerät in das T-Stück
ein.
3. Richten Sie es aus (in
Rohrlängsachse oder quer
dazu).
Ziehen Sie die Überwurfmut-
ter an (Anzugsdrehmoment
max. 70 Nm). Halten Sie dabei
das Gerät in seiner
Ausrichtung.

4. Kleben Sie den für das
gewählte T-Stück passenden
Aufkleber auf das Gerät.
4. Elektrischer Anschluß
Das Gerät darf nur von einer Elektrofachkraft installiert werden.
Befolgen Sie die nationalen und internationalen Vorschriften zur
Errichtung elektrotechnischer Anlagen.
Spannungsversorgung nach EN50178, SELV, PELV.
Um die "limited Voltage" Anforderungen gemäß UL 508 zu
erfüllen, mußdas Gerät aus einer galvanisch getrennten Quelle
versorgt und durch eine Überstromeinrichtung abgesichert werden.
Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei bevor Sie das Gerät
anschließen.
Anschlußbelegung:
Nach dem Einschalten der Versorgungsspannung leuchten alle LEDs
auf und verlöschen wieder schrittweise.* Danach ist das Gerät
betriebsbereit.
*Während dieser Zeit liegt das Ausgangssignal bei 20mA.

6. Inbetriebnahme / Betrieb / Wartung
Prüfen Sie nach Montage, elektrischem Anschlußund
Programmierung, ob das Gerät sicher funktioniert.
Nach dem Einschalten der Versorgungsspannung leuchten alle LEDs
auf und verlöschen wieder schrittweise.* Danach ist das Gerät
betriebsbereit.
*Während dieser Zeit liegt das Ausgangssignal bei 20mA.

Reinigungshinweis
Überprüfen Sie die Sensorspitze von Zeit zu Zeit auf Ablagerungen.
Reinigen Sie sie gegebenenfalls mit einem weichen Tuch. Fest anhaf-
tende Ablagerungen (z. B. Kalk) lassen sich mit handelsüblichem
Essigreiniger entfernen.

1. Function and features
The flow sensor detects the flow rate of water and converts it into
an analog output signal (4 ... 20 mA). In addition a row of LED's
indicates the current flow rate.
•For seamless precision steel to DIN 2391/1 and T-pieces to DIN
2353. The unit can be set for the following T-pieces / sensing
ranges:

3. Installation
To avoid malfunction a minimum
distance between the flow mon-
itor and bends, valves, changes
in cross-section or such like must
be observed:
•Min. 5 x pipe diameter
upstream (A).
•Min. 3 x pipe diameter
downstream (B).
(This information refers to lami-
nar flow).
1. Lubricate the nut (A) with
grease to ensure the nut can
be loosened and tightened
several times. Note: No grease
must be applied to the sensor
tip.
2. Remove the protective cap (B)
from the sensor tip. Insert the
unit into the T-piece.
3. Orientate it (to the longitudi-
nal axis of the pipe or perpen-
dicular to it). Fasten the nut
(max. tightening torque 70 Nm).
Always keep the unit in its ori-
entation.

4. Attach the label corresponding
to the selected T-piece to the
unit.
4. Electrical connection
The unit must only be connected by an electrician.
The national and international regulations for the installation of
electrical equipment must be observed.
Voltage supply to EN50178, SELV, PELV.
The device shall be supplied from an isolating source and
protected by an overcurrent device such that the limited voltage
circuit requirements in accordance with UL 508 are met.
Disconnect power before connecting the unit.
Wiring:
When the supply voltage is applied, all LEDs light and go off one after
the other.* The unit is then ready for operation.
*During this time the output signal is 20mA.

6. Installation and set-up / operation / maintenance
After mounting, wiring and setting check whether the unit operates
correctly.
When the supply voltage is applied, all LEDs light and go off one after
the other.* The unit is then ready for operation.
*During this time the output signal is 20mA.
Indication in the operating mode
Recommended maintenance
Check the sensor tip for build-up from time to time. Clean it with a
soft cloth. If necessary, build-up which adheres firmly (e.g. lime) can
be removed with a common vinegar cleansing agent.

1. Fonctionnement et caractéristiques
La sonde de débit détecte le débit de l'eau et la convertit en un
signal de sortie analogique (4 ... 20 mA). La rampe de LED visuali-
se le débit actuel.
•Pour des tubes monobloc inox de précision selon DIN 2391 partie 1
et des raccords en T selon DIN 2353. L'appareil peut être paramétré
pour les raccords en T / plages de détection suivantes:

3. Montage
Afin d’éviter un mauvais fonc-
tionnement une distance mini-
mum doit être respectée entre la
sonde et les coudes, vannes,
changements de section etc.
•Min. 5 x diamètre de la cana-
lisation en amont (A).
•Min. 3 x diamètre de la cana-
lisation en aval (B).
(Les données se réfèrent aux
fluides àl'état laminaire).
1. Graisser l'écrou (A) afin que
l'écrou puisse être desserréet
serréplusieurs fois.
Remarque: Aucune graisse ne
doit être appliquée au bout de
la sonde.
2. Enlever le capot protecteur (B)
du bout de la sonde. Insérer la
sonde dans le raccord en T.
3. Positionner la sonde (dans
l'axe ou perpendiculairement).
Visser l'écrou (couple de serra-
ge maxi 70 Nm). Maintenir la
sonde dans son orientation.

4. Coller l'étiquette correspon-

4. Raccordement électrique
L'appareil doit être montépar un électricien.
Les règlements nationaux et internationaux relatifs àl'installa-
tion de matériel électrique doivent être respectés.
Alimentation selon EN50178, TBTS, TBTP.
Afin de répondre aux exigences de la norme "UL 508" pour la
catégorie "limited voltage", l´appareil doit être impérativement
alimentépar une alimentation isolée galvaniquement et équipée
d´un dispositif de protection contre les surcharges.
Mettre l’installation hors tension avant le raccordement.
Schéma de branchement:
Dès la mise sous tension toutes les LED s'allument et s'éteignent l'une
après l'autre.* L'appareil est ensuite opérationnel.
*Durant ce temps le signal de sortie est 20mA.

6. Mise en service / Fonctionnement / Maintenance
Après le montage, le câblage et le réglage vérifier le bon fonctionne-
ment de l'appareil.
Dès la mise sous tension toutes les LED s'allument et s'éteignent l'une
après l'autre.* L'appareil est ensuite opérationnel.
*Durant ce temps le signal de sortie est 20mA.
Visualisation en fonctionnement
Maintenance recommandée
Vérifier périodiquement l’éventuelle présence de dépôts en bout de
sonde. Le cas échéant, les enlever avec un chiffon doux. Les dépôts
adhérant fortement (ex: calcaire) peuvent être retirés avec un produit
acétique de nettoyage usuel.
