Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der elektronische Druckschalter
•erfaßt, ob ein voreingestellter Systemdruck erreicht ist,
• und meldet dies durch ein Schaltsignal.
• Zusätzlich zeigt eine LED-Kette an:
- den aktuellen Systemdruck (Skalenwert
der rechten leuchtenden LED ),
- den Schaltpunkt (Skalenwert der
blinkenden LED );
(beide in 10%-Auflösung).
Anzeige des aktuellen Systemdrucks ab 5% des Meßbereichs-
endwerts. “Alle LEDs AUS” bedeutet nicht, daß die Anlage
druckfrei ist!
Das Gerät
• ist als Schließer oder Öffner einsetzbar (2 x Schließer / 2 x Öffner)
• und arbeitet mit Hysteresefunktion.
Bei steigendem Systemdruck
schaltet der Ausgang bei Errei-
chen des Schaltpunkts (S); fällt
der Systemdruck wieder ab,
schaltet der Ausgang erst dann
zurück, wenn der Wert “Schalt-
punkt minus Hysterese” (S - HY)
erreicht ist.
Die Hysterese beträgt: 2% des
Meßbereichsendwerts.

Betriebsmodi
Das Gerät verfügt über folgende Betriebsmodi: Run-Modus (normaler
Arbeitsbetrieb), Display-Modus (Anzeige der Schaltpunkte), Program-
mier-Modus (Einstellen der Schaltpunkte).
Run-Modus:
Nach dem Einschalten der Versorgungsspannung befindet sich das Gerät
im Run-Modus. Es führt seine Überwachungsfunktion aus und schaltet
die Transistorausgänge.
Die LED-Kette zeigt den aktuellen Systemdruck an, die gelben
LEDs signalisieren den Schaltzustand der Ausgänge.
Display-Modus:
Das Gerät geht durch kurzen Druck auf die Taste “SET S1” oder “SET S2”
in den Display-Modus. Intern verbleibt es im Arbeitsbetrieb.
Unabhängig davon können die Schaltpunke in 1%-Auflösung abgele-
sen werden:
• Kurzer Druck auf eine Taste zeigt für ca. 5s den zugehörigen Wert;
danach geht das Gerät zurück in den Run-Modus.
Programmier-Modus:
Das Gerät geht in den Programmiermodus, wenn Taste “SET S1” oder
“SET S2” 5s lang gedrückt wird. Das Gerät verbleibt auch hier intern
im Arbeitsbetrieb. Es führt seine Überwachungsfunktionen mit den
bestehenden Parametern weiter aus, bis die Veränderung abgeschlos-
sen ist.
Sie können den Schaltpunkt S1 mit Hilfe der Taste “SET S1” ändern
und mit der Taste “ENTER S1” bestätigen. Ebenso können Sie den
Schaltpunkt S2 mit Hilfe der Taste “SET S2” ändern und mit der Taste
“ENTER S2” bestätigen. Das Gerät geht in den Run-Modus zurück,
wenn danach 5s lang keine Taste mehr gedrückt wird.

Montage
Befestigen Sie den Druckschalter an einem entsprechenden Prozeß-
anschluß (s. Typaufkleber “Port Size”).
Vermeiden Sie statische und dynamische Überdrücke, die den
angegebenen Überlastdruck (siehe letzte Seite) überschreiten.
Schon bei kurzzeitiger Überschreitung des Berstdrucks kann das
Gerät zerstört werden (Verletzungsgefahr)!
Wenn die Gefahr von undefinierten Druckstößen besteht,
- verwenden Sie Geräte mit höherem Druckbereich
- oder installieren Sie vor dem Gerät eine handelsübliche
Drosselvorrichtung.
Elektrischer Anschluß
Das Gerät darf nur von einer Elektrofachkraft installiert werden.
Befolgen Sie die nationalen und internationalen Vorschriften zur
Errichtung elektrotechnischer Anlagen.
Spannungsversorgung nach EN50178, SELV, PELV.
Schützen Sie das Gerät von elektrostatischen Entladungen und
Überspannungsspitzen.
Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei und schließen Sie das Gerät fol-
gendermaßen an:

Programmieren
Schaltpunkte erhöhen
Schaltpunkte verringern
Lassen Sie blinkende und leuchtende LED bis zum Ende der LED-Kette
laufen. Danach beginnt der Durchlauf wieder am Anfang der Kette.

Drücken Sie die SET S1-
Taste* und halten Sie sie fest,
bis der gewünschte Schaltpunkt
angezeigt wird.
Sobald die Anzeige läuft,
kann der Schaltpunkt schritt-
weise durch Einzeldruck oder
kontinuierlich durch Festhalten
der Taste erhöht werden.
Nach 5s läuft die blinkende LED
von links nach rechts.

Verriegeln / Entriegeln
Das Gerät läßt sich verriegeln, so daß unbeabsichtigte Fehleingaben
verhindert werden: Drücken Sie 10s lang die beiden Einstelltasten. Die
Anzeige verlischt kurzzeitig (= Bestätigung des Verriegelns / Entriegelns).
Auslieferungszustand: Nicht verriegelt.
Betrieb
Prüfen Sie, ob der Druckschalter sicher funktioniert. Der Betrieb ist
wartungsfrei.
Störanzeigen: Alle LEDs blinken bei Kurzschluß.

Function and features
The electronic pressure sensor
• detects whether a preset value has been reached
• and indicates this by a switched signal.
• In addition a row of LEDs signals:
- the current system pressure (scale value
of the last LED lit ),
- the switch point (scale value of the
flashing LED ),
both in 10% steps).
Indication of the current system pressure is from 3% of the value
of the measuring range. “All LEDs OUT” does not mean that the
system is free of pressure!
The unit
• can be used as N.O. or N.C. (2 x N.O. or 2 x N.C.)
• and operates with the hysteresis function.
When the system pressure is ris-
ing, the output switches when
the switch point (S) has been
reached; when the system pres-
sure is falling again, the output
switches back when the value
“switch point minus hysteresis”
(S - HY) has been reached.
The hysteresis is 2% of the value
of the measuring range.

Operating modes
The unit has the following operating modes: Run mode (normal oper-
ating mode), display mode (indication of the switch points), program-
ming mode (setting of the switch points).
Run mode:
When the supply voltage has been applied, the unit is in the Run
mode. It monitors and switches the transistor.
The green LEDs indicate the current system pressure, the yellow LEDs
indicate the switching state of the outputs.
Display mode:
When the button “SET S1” (or “SET S2”) is pressed for a short time,
the unit passes to the Display mode. Internally it remains in the opera-
ting mode. Irrespective of this the switch points can be read in 1%
steps.
•When the button is pressed for a short time, the corresponding
value is displayed for approx. 5s; then the unit returns to the Run
mode.
Programming mode:
The unit passes to the programming mode when the button “SET S1”
(or “SET S2”) is pressed for 5s.
Internally the unit remains in the operating mode. It continues its
monitoring function with the existing parameters until the change has
been terminated.
You can change the switch point S1 by pressing the button “SET S1”
and confirm it by pressing the button “ENTER S1”. You can change the
switch point S2 by pressing the button “SET S2” and confirm it by
pressing the button “ENTER S2”. The unit returns to the Run mode
when no button has been pressed for 5s.

Installation
Mount the pressure sensor on a suitable process connection (see type
label “Port Size”).
Avoid static and dynamic overpressure exceeding the given over-
load pressure (see last page).
Even if the bursting pressure is exceeded only for a short time
the unit can be destroyed (danger of injuries)!
If there is a risk of undefined pressure surges
- use units with a higher pressure range or
- install a standard suppression device in front of the unit.
Electrical connection
The unit must only be connected by an electrician.
The national and international regulations for the installation of
electrical equipment must be observed.
Voltage supply to EN50178, SELV, PELV.
Protect the unit from electrostatic discharge and spikes.
Disconnect power before onnecting the unit. Wiring:

Increase the switch points

cycle starts again at the beginning of the row.

Locking / unlocking:
The unit can be electronically locked to prevent unwanted adjustment
of the set parameters: Press both push buttons for 10s. Indication goes
out briefly (acknowledgement of locking / unlocking).
Units are delivered from the factory in the unlocked state.
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the pressure sensor. The operation is
maintenance-free.
Failure indication: All LEDs flashing in case of short-circuit.

Fonctionnement et caractéristiques
Le capteur de pression
• détecte la pression du circuit
•et indique par un signal de commutation si la valeur présélectionnée
est atteinte.
• De plus, une rampe de LED visualise (en pas de 10%):
- la pression actuelle du circuit (valeur de
l'échelle de la dernière LED allumée ),
- le seuil de commutation (valeur de
l'échelle de la LED clignotante) ).
Indication de la pression actuelle du circuit à partir de 5% de la
valeur de l'étendue de mesure. “Toutes les LED ETEINTES” ne
veut pas dire que le circuit n'est pas sous pression!
L'appareil
• peut être utilisé en N.O. ou N.F. (2 x N.O. ou 2 x N.F.)
• et travaille avec la fonction hystérésis.
Si la pression du circuit augmen-
te, la sortie commute lorsque le
seuil (S) est atteint; si la pression
du circuit diminue de nouveau, la
sortie ne commute que lorsque le
point “S - hystérésis” (S - HY) est
atteint.
Hystérésis: 2%de la valeur de
l'étendue de mesure).

Modes de fonctionnement
Mode Run (mode de fonctionnement normal), mode Display (visuali-
sation des seuils S1 et S2), mode programmation (réglage des seuils S1
et S2).
Mode Run:
Après la mise sous tension l'appareil se trouve en mode Run. Il surveille
et commute les sorties transistors.
Les LED vertes indiquent la pression actuelle du circuit, les LEDs jaunes
indiquent l'état de commutation de les sorties.
Mode Display:
En appuyant brièvement sur le bouton-poussoir “SET S1” ou “SET S2”
l'appareil passe en mode Display. En ce mode il reste opérationnel et
les seuils S1 et S2 peuvent être lus en pas de 1%).
•Si un bouton-poussoir est appuyé brièvement, la valeur correspon-
dante est indiquée pendant env. 5s. Ensuite l'appareil se remet en
mode RUN.
Mode de programmation:
L'appareil passe en mode de programmation si le bouton-poussoir
“SET S1” ou “SET S2” est appuyé pendant 5s. En ce mode il reste opé-
rationnel avec les paramètres existants jusqu'à ce que les modifications
soient terminées.
Le seuil S1 peut être changé en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir “SET
S1” et confirmé en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir “ENTER S1”. Le
seuil S2 peut être changé en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir “SET
S2” et confirmé en appuyant sur le bouton-poussoir “ENTER S2”.
L'appareil se remet en mode RUN si aucun bouton n'a été appuyé pen-
dant 5s.

Montage
Monter le capteur de pression à l’aide d’un montage process approprié
(voir étiquette “Port Size”).
Eviter les pics de pression statiques et dynamiques qui dépassent
la valeur de surpression indiquée (voir la page dernière). Même si
la pression d'éclatement est dépassée brièvement l'appareil peut
être détruit (danger de blessures)!
En cas de risques de pics de pression non déterminés
- utiliser des appareils avec une plage de pression plus haute
- ou installer un amortisseur de pression standard avant le
capteur.
Raccordement électrique
L'appareil ne doit être monté que par un électricien. Les règle-
ments nationaux et internationaux relatifs à l'installation de
matériel électrique doivent être respectés.
Alimentation selon EN50178, SELV, PELV. Protéger l'appareil
contre des décharges électrostatiques et des pics de tension.
Mettre l’installation hors tension avant le raccordement. Schéma de

Laissez les LED clignotante et allumée passer jusqu'à la fin de la rampe
de LED. Ensuite le cycle recommence au début de la rampe.

Blocage / déblocage
L'appareil peut être verrouillé afin d'éviter une fausse programmation
non intentionnelle: Appuyer sur les deux boutons-poussoir pendant
10s. La visualisation s'éteint brièvement (confirmation du blocage /
déblocage). Appareil livré: non bloqué.
Fonctionnement
Vérifier le bon fonctionnement du capteur de pression. Le fonctionne-
ment ne nécessite aucun entretien.
Indications de défaut: Toutes les LED clignotent lors d’un court-circuit.
