Remova le Battery Plate
The White Collar Lock Button must e
pushed “forward” and held to release
the Collar. Hold the ody with one
hand while pushing the White Collar
Lock utton forward with your finger.
Slide the Collar up a out 1/4” to
its “open” position while holding the
Collar Lock Button forward.
The Collar Lock Button can now e re-
leased and the front of lite can e
pulled from the ody.
NNOOTTEE::
Lithium-ion atteries are not recommended. Use of lithium-ion
atteries can lead to shortened ul LED or LED failure.
Lift out the remova le top attery plate and load four “AA” size
alkaline atteries into the ody. Note the polarity chart is engraved on top of
the remova le plate. Then place the top plate ack into the ody, NOTE:
“Switch End” orientation engraving on the plate when installing.
The “O” ring must e clean and have a very light coating of
silicone lu e on the surface. Push the front into the ody, hhoollddiinngg iitt
ttiigghhttllyy iinn ppllaacceewhile pushing the Collar Lock ack to the closed position. Check
that the Collar Lock Button has clicked into place securely.

Collar Lock Button

CCOOLLLLAARR::The two screws that secure the Collar Lock should e as tight
as possi le while still allowing the Collar Lock to move freely.
CCAAUUTTIIOONN:: A severe jolt may end the attery contacts which would keep
the light from operating. The contacts can e ent ack up to
place more tension on the atteries if this happens.
Keep the o-ring and sealing surfaces clean. Do not stretch the o-ring when
cleaning and applying the light coat of silicone lu e. NNEEVVEERRuse spray lu ricant
as it will cause cracking of the plastic.
CCAAUUTTIIOONN:: DDOO NNOOTTuse atteries that have een wet; atteries from a flooded
lite should e discarded. The water could create an internal short circuit at some
later date causing a potential explosion. The normal evolution of all atteries
is emitting hydrogen gas. This gas must e a sor ed or allowed to escape to
prevent ignition of the entrapped hydrogen/air mixture. We suggest removal of
the atteries during long periods of storage to prevent trapping any
hydrogen/air mixture. A hydrogen a sor er has een concealed inside this
lite and should NOT e removed. In case the lite floods, discard the atteries
and send the light to Ikelite.
LLEEDD LLAAMMPP && HHOOLLDDEERR
The LED Lamp is uilt into the front of the PC-LED Light and is non-user
replacea le. Highly efficient drivers yield an LED lifespan of 50 — 100
times the life of standard incandescent lamps, making replacement ul s
virtually o solete. If you experience ul failure return the light to Ikelite.
BBUURRNN TTIIMMEESS
The PCm-LED Light will give 3 hours of maximum continuous urn time.
LED’s maintain their maximum rightness level much longer and without
the low attery “dimming” effects of traditional lights. When the atteries
are nearly drained, the LED lights continue to emit a lower intensity output
for hours or even days—long after incandescent lights have quit. This
extended illumination period can make all the difference in emergency
situations.

lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. If any pro lem arises, it
should e returned prepaid to Ikelite. Ikelite will, at its discretion, repair or re-
place any components that prove to e defective, and will return to the
customer prepaid. All other claims, if any nature, including ut not limited to
ul failure are not covered. Except as mentioned a ove, no other
warranty expressed or implied, applies to this Ikelite product.
