• Any use of this product or its acces-
sories in any manner not recom-
mended by the manufacturer may
cause injury to persons or damage to
the appliance. Do not use attach-
ments that are not recommended or
sold by the product manufacturer.
• Do not allow a child to use this appli-
ance. Keep the appliance out of chil-
dren's reach at all times. Children
should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with this appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for
use by persons with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities
that may lead to improper use or
injury from operating the appliance.
• Discontinue any operation of the
appliance if it malfunctions or is
dropped, submerged or damaged
in any manner. Take the appliance
to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.

coming from the unit, unplug it
immediately and contact Customer
Service.
• Keep any parts or packaging materi-
als well away from children. These
are a potential source of suocation
or other danger.
• Before the appliance is used, check
the base unit (including the power
cord)and all parts for any faults or
defects.
• Never operate the appliance while it
is empty.
• Do not place any items other than
citrus or pomegranate inside of the
appliance. Do not allow anything
but fruit to come in contact with
moving parts.

Electrical Grounding and Safety
This appliance must be grounded. This is accomplished by ensuring the plug
is inserted into a properly grounded outlet. The appliance is equipped with
a cord that has a grounding wire and plug. When grounded, the risk of elec-
tric shock is reduced by providing an escape wire for the electrical current.
WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in electric
shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service person if the grounding
instructions are not completely understood, or if there is any doubt that
the appliance or outlet is not properly grounded.
This appliance has a polarized plug, meaning that one blade on the plug is
wider than the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended
to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
• Completely assemble the product for
use before plugging it into an outlet.
• Make sure the power cord does not
touch any hot surfaces, including the
appliance.
• Switch o and unplug the unit aer
use, when fitting or removing parts,
and before cleaning.
• To protect against electric shock, do
not immerse or allow the cord, plug or
appliance base unit to come in con-
tact with water or any other liquid.
• Do not plug or unplug the product
into/from the electrical outlet with
wet hands.
• Discontinue any operation of the
appliance if the cord or plug are

• To disconnect from an electrical out-
let, ensure the product is o and then
pull directly on the plug; do not pull
on the Power Cord.
• Do not put any stress on the power
cord where it connects to the product,
as this is likely to cause a malfunction
or safety hazard.
• Always ensure the product is un-
plugged from the electrical outlet and
that all parts stopped before assem-
bling, disassembling, relocating, or
cleaning it.
WARNING: Handling the cord on this product will expose you to lead, a chemical
known to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other repro-
ductive harm.

GETTING STARTED
Thank you for purchasing this quality Courant Citrus Juicer!
This guide will cover the steps used to prepare juice with your new juicer! Please read
all of these instructions before first use to safely get the most out of your new appliance.
This juicer is can be used with oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and pomegranate.
Before using your juicer for the first time
1. Carefully unpack the appliance. Remove all labels and packaging materials.
Do not plug the appliance in yet.
2. Take special care when unpacking. Ensure that all parts listed on the next page
are included in the box and that there is no damage.
3. Clean the appliance (see the Care, Cleaning and Maintenance section later in this
guide). When the appliance is completely dry, place the base unit on a dry, stable,
level surface. Ensure it is kept away from any surface edges.
4. Make sure that the switch is set to the OFF position.
During initial use, you may notice a slight odor due to the release of manufacturing
residues. This is completely normal and will disappear aer a few uses.

Assembling and Operating the Juicer
Assembling the Juicer
WARNING: Ensure the appliance is unplugged
Some parts may have sharp edges.
Handle them with care.
1. Fit the drive stem (11) onto the drivesha (9) of the
base unit.
2. Fit the juicer container (12) onto the drive stem (11).
3. Fold the juice spout up (3).
4. Fit the juicer dome (14) onto the pulp sieve (13).
5. Fit the pulp sieve (13) onto the juice container (12).
6. Fit the lid insert (15) into the lid (17).
7. Place the hinge of the lid (16) onto the hinge of the
base unit (10).
8. Close the hinge latch (16) on
the base unit by swinging it
upward so that it snaps on to the
lid (see image to the right).
9. With the lid now on the hinge,
close the lid and ensure
the lid lock (2) locks into place.
10. Connect the appliance to power. There is a power cord
storage compartment in the base of the unit. Remove
the cord from the compartment as needed.
The juicer is now ready for use!
Extracting juice from citrus with your juicer
1. With the juicer now assembled, ensure the spout (3) is
folded down and place a suitably sized container under-
neath the spout.
2. Open the lid by pulling gently on the lid lock (2).
The lid should swing up and open on its hinge.
3. Cut a piece of citrus fruit in half. Place one of the halves
onto the dome with the flat/open side of the fruit facing
downward.

4. Close the lid. Ensure you hear it lock into place.
5. Use the on/o switch (7) to turn the appliance on. A beep-signal will be heard
and the Start button will light up.
6. Push the Start button once (4) until you hear a beep-signal.
7. The juicing cycle will start and end automatically. The fruit will be raised as the
juice is extracted and collected in the container under the spout.
8. When the motor has come to a complete stop, open the lid and remove the fruit.
9. Repeat with more fruit as needed. You may need to clean away some buildup
between juicing cycles.
10. Aer use, make sure the motor has stopped completely, then fold the juice
spout up and switch the appliance o.
11. Remove the plug from the wall outlet and clean the appliance.
If the juice container (12) turns during operation, it is not properly locked. If this
happens, switch the appliance o, refit the container and then continue.
Additional Operating Instructions and Tips
• When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve will have to be emptied
periodically
• Ensure that the container placed under the spout does not overflow, especially
when using larger fruit (such as grapefruit). Fold the juice spout up if the contain-
er under the spout is beginning to spill over. However, make sure the juice con-
tainer inside the appliance does not fill up. Have a spare container handy so the
spout can be folded back down to collect the rest of the juice.
• If the appliance is turned on, but the motor does run after pressing Start, ensure
that the unit is plugged in and that the lid is locked into place. Unplug the appli-
ance and reassemble it if necessary.
• Always use fresh fruit.
• This juicer can be used with oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and pomegranate. Do
not use this appliance with other fruits as it may damage the appliance or cause a
safety hazard.
Reset button
If there is a power interruption, or if the appliance is blocked by
residue and the motor is overstressed, the juicer will enter a pro-
tection mode and stop running. Clear any blockage and push
the reset button. The appliance can be used again normally. If
there is an excessive blockage that requires disassembly, turn o
and unplug the appliance, then follow the cleaning instructions.

Care, Cleaning, and Maintenance
1. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it before cleaning.
2. Clean the base unit with a damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive tools or
harsh cleaning solutions.
3. If the appliance is assembled, disassemble the appliance by following the steps
in the "Assembly" section in reverse order. You will need to pull/lift up the lid lock
to open the lid. Carefully push down on the tab of the hinge cover to completely
remove the lid.
4. Clean the appliance parts 9 - 17 (all parts except for the base unit and cord) using-
hot water and a mild detergent. Wipe it completely dry.
The juice container, pulp sieve, juicer dome and lid insert (not the lid itself) are
dishwasher-safe.
IMPORTANT: The lid and drive stem are NOT dishwasher-safe and
must be washed by hand.
5. After cleaning, re-assemble the parts as described in the Assembly section.
CAUTION: NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER. THIS IS THE PART OF THE AP-
PLIANCE THAT HAS THE PLUG AND OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND SHOULD
NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH WATER
Power Cord Storage
There is a power-cord storage compartment in the base of the unit.
After use, unplug the cord and fit it back into the storage compartment.

Courant™ warrants this product against defects in materi-
al and workmanship to the original purchaser as specified
below. Please be sure that the product is registered online
within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
PARTS – if the product is determined to have a
manufacturing defect, within a period of one (1)
year from the date of the original purchase, Cou-
rant™ will repair or replace the product parts at no
charge (for parts) to consumers in the U.S.A. and
Canada.
LABOR – if the product is determined to have a
manufacturing defect, within a period of ninety
(90) Days from the date of the original purchase,
Courant™ will repair or replace the product at no
charge to consumers in the U.S.A. and Canada. Af-
ter ninety (90) days, it will be the responsibility of
the consumer.
Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center are
the sole responsibility of the consumer.
To obtain warranty service by an authorized Courant™
service center, please email us at: service@courantusa.
com to obtain a Repair and Maintenance Authorization
(RMA) number and to locate the Warranty Service Center
nearest you. Once authorized, you must mail the product
to the authorized Courant™ service center in its original
product packaging materials or equivalent, to prevent
damage while in transit.
Further, should Courant™ determine that the product is
outside of the Warranty terms, Courant™ will return the
product to sender at sender’s expense without being re-
paired or replaced, unless authorized by the consumer
to service the out-of-warranty product at consumer’s ex-
pense. All handling or restocking charges for returns and/
or replacements shall be non-refundable.
Courant™ specifically excludes from this warranty any
non-electric/mechanical attachments, accessories, and
disposable parts including, but not limited to, outside
case, connecting cables, batteries, and AC adapters.
Courant™ reserves the right to repair or replace defective
products with the same, equivalent, or newer models.
We reserve the right to either repair or replace product at
our discretion. Replacement may be either new or refur-
bished and while every endeavor will be made to ensure
it is the same model, if same model is not available, it will
be replaced with a model of equal or higher specification.
Normal “Wear and Tear” is not covered by this, or any oth-
er, warranty. Further, Courant™ hereby reserves the right
to determine “Wear and Tear” on any and all products.
Tampering or opening the product casing or shell will void
this warranty in its entirety.
In addition, this warranty does not apply if the product
has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or mis-
application; has been altered or modified without the
written permission of Courant™; has been serviced by a
non-authorized repair center of Courant™; has not been
properly maintained or operated according to the opera-
tion manual; has been used for commercial, non-house-
hold purposes; has been cosmetically damaged; was not
imported by Courant™; was not manufactured according
to specification of the United States market; was damaged
due to improper installation or neglect by the consumer;
was damaged due to improper packaging in shipment to
the Warranty Service Center; was damaged due to natural
disasters; or if the serial number for the product has been
removed or defaced.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WAR-
RANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO
ONE (1) YEAR PARTS AND NINETY (90) DAYS LABOR FROM
THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE OF THIS
PRODUCT.
THESE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE THE SOLE AND
EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES IN CONNECTION

¡Esta guía cubrirá los pasos utilizados para preparar jugo con su nuevo exprimidor. Lea
todas estas instrucciones antes del primer uso para aprovechar al máximo su nuevo
electrodoméstico. Este exprimidor se puede usar con naranjas, limones, toronjas y
granadas.
Antes de utilizar su exprimidor por primera vez
1. Desempaque cuidadosamente el electrodoméstico. Retire todas las etiquetas y

No enchufe el electrodoméstico todavía.

ENSAMBLANDO Y OPERANDO EL EXPRIMIDOR
Ensamblando el exprimidor
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que el electrodoméstico está desconectado
Algunas partes pueden tener bordes afilados. Manéje-
los con cuidado.
1. Coloque el poste (11) en el eje (9) de la unidad base.
2. Coloque el contenedor de jugo (12) en el poste (11)
3. Saque la boquilla despachadora de jugo (3) hacia
afuera
4. Coloque el domo del exprimidor (14) sobre el colador
de pulpa (13)
5. Coloque el colador de pulpa (13) en el contenedor de
jugo (12)
6. Coloque el inserto de la tapa
(15) en la tapa (17).
7. Coloque el pestillo de la bisagra
de la tapa (16) en la bisagra de
la unidad base (10).
8. Cierre el pestillo de la bisagra
(16) en la unidad base al colum-
piarla hacia arriba de modo que se
enganche en la tapa (ver la imagen
a la derecha).
9. Con la tapa ahora en la bisagra, cierre la tapa y
asegúrese de que la tapa (2) cerró correctamente en su
lugar.
10. Conecte el electrodoméstico. Hay un compartimento
para almacenar el cable de suministro de la unidad
base. Retire el cable del compartimento conforme lo
requiera.
Ahora, ¡su exprimidor está listo para usarse!
Extrayendo jugo de los cítricos en su exprimidor
1. Con el exprimidor ahora ensamblado, asegúrese de que
la boquilla (3) esté hacia afuera y coloque un recipiente
de tamaño adecuado debajo de ella.
