Before the device is installed and operated, read this instruction manual carefully and with full understanding. The instruction manual is
designated for mounting the device and for the user of such device. It has to be attached to electro-installation documentation.The instruction
manual can be also found on a web site www.inels.com. Attention, danger of injury by electrical current! Mounting and connection can be
done only by a professional with an adequate electrical qualication, and all has to be done while observing valid regulations. Do not touch
parts of the device that are energized. Danger of life-threat! While mounting, servicing, executing any changes, and repairing it is essential to
observe safety regulations, norms, directives and special regulations for working with electrical equipment. Before you start working with the
device, it is essential to have all wires, connected parts, and terminals de-energized. This instruction manual contains only general directions
which need to be applied in a particular installation. In the course of inspections and maintenance, always check (while de-energized) if
terminals are tightened.

- GSM2-01 is designed for communication with INELS system, via SMS message
commands sent from mobile GSM phones. Suitable also as communication with
security agency, when alarm is activated.
- Via mobile phone you can control the system as well as system can inform you back by
SMS or ringing.
- Max. capacity of GSM2-01 is 32 phone numbers, 48 outgoing and 32 incoming SMS
messages.
- Max. length of SMS is 20 symbols.
- Operating range is 850, 900 as well as 1800, 1900 MHz (quad-band).
- SIM card is placed into a unit after removing front panel.
- GSM2-01 communicate directly with CU2-01M by RS232.
- External magnetic antenna (cable 3 m, gain 5dB) is included.
- GSM2-01 in 3-MODULE version is designed for mounting into a switchboard, on DIN rail
EN60715.

CONNECTION INTO THE SYSTEM
The unit is connected to the system though communication interface RS232 directly to a central unit. Communication bus wires are to be connected to terminal block of the unit RXD
and TXD, wires cannot be changes. Supply wires are connected to supply terminals of the unit + 27 V and GND. It is necessary to observe the polarity. It is necessary to use a twisted pair
of wire for communication interface. Bus wires and supply wires can be lead in one cable. With communication bus it is necessary to observe maximal possible length of cable according
to the possibilities of the bus RS232.
CAPACITY AND CENTRAL UNIT
It is possible to connect one device with communication interface RS232 to central unit CU2-01M. The connection is by terminals RXD, TXD.
COMMUNICATION BUS
Communication bus RS232 can be made of a cable which has to contain a twisted pair of wires for data communication, with minimal prole of wires 0.5 mm. Shielded cable needs
to be used in case of installing bus cables into an environment with a possibility of electro-magnetic interferences (e.g. in case of side-run with power lead, if close to electric achiness
and devices, when going through NN switchboard etc.) If a shielded cable is used, it is necessary to connect one end to potential ground. Bus cable is installed in accordance with its
mechanical features given by manufacturer (into a conduit/rail, under plaster, into the ground hanging etc.) To increase mechanical resistance of cables we recommend installation into
a conduit of a sucient prole.The total length of the bus can be 15 m. The unit is connected directly to CU2-01M.
SUPPLYING THE SYSTEM
To supply system we recommend to use power supplies of company ELKO EP DR-60-24, PS-100/INELS. The number of power supplies in the system depends on the sum of rated currents
of connected units with a sucient reserve. Installation of higher number of power supplies on a large bus eliminates voltage loss on a long lead. In case the system contains a system of
electric safety signalization, we recommend to use a backed-up power supply with a charger PS-100/INELS in a cover with protective contact.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The unit is able to be operated individually without a central unit but very limited on functions. To use all the functions of the unit it is necessary to connect it to a central unit CU2-01M, or
to a system that already contains this unit and enlarge thus the system functions. All parameters are set by a central unit CU2-01M in software INELS Designer and Manager. On the front
panel there are LED diodes to indicate presence of supply voltage, communication with a central unit CU2-01M.
