WARNING

Installation and Lubrication
Size air supply line to ensure tool’s maximum operating pressure (PMAX) at tool inlet. Drain
condensate from valve(s) at low point(s) of piping, air lter and compressor tank daily. Install
a properly sized Safety Air Fuse upstream of hose and use an anti-whip device across any
hose coupling without internal shut-o, to prevent hose whipping if a hose fails or coupling
disconnects. See drawing 16585861 and table on page 2. Maintenance frequency is shown in a
circular arrow and dened as h=hours, d=days, and m=months of actual use. Items identied as:

Clutch Adjustment
WARNING
Turn othe air supply and disconnect the air supply hose from the Tool before proceeding.
Rotate the Adjusting Hole Cover to expose the clutch adjusting hole in the Clutch Housing.
Insert a 1/4”hex wrench into the Spindle or a wrench on the square driver and rotate the
clutch mechanism until the area having an opening between the faces of the Clutch
Adjusting Nut Washer and Clutch Adjusting Nut is visible.
Using a screwdriver that has a #1 Philips tip, insert the tip of the screwdriver into the opening
and rotate the screwdriver to adjust the Clutch. Rotate the screwdriver clockwise to decrease
Clutch Spring tension and torque and counterclockwise to increase the tension and torque.
NOTICE
The most satisfactory adjustment is usually obtained by using the tool on the actual
application and increasing or decreasing the delivered torque until the desired setting
is reached. In any event, it is recommended that nal adjustment be made by gradual
progression.
Parts and Maintenance
When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled,
degreased and parts be separated by material so that they can be recycled.

Instalación y Lubricación

Ajuste del Embrague


Gire la cubierta del oricio de ajuste para destapar el oricio de ajuste del alojamiento del
embrague.
Inserte una llave hexagonal de 1/4” en el eje o una llave del dispositivo de accionamiento
cuadrado y gire el mecanismo del embrague hasta que se vea la zona que tiene una abertura
entre las dos caras de la arandela de la tuerca de ajuste del embrague y la tuerca de ajuste.
Al utilizar un destornillador que tenga una punta número 1 de Philips, inserte la punta en la
abertura y gire el destornillador para ajustar el embrague. Gire el destornillador en el sentido
de las agujas del reloj para disminuir la tensión del muelle del embrague y del par y gírelo en
el otro sentido para aumentarlos.

Normalmente, se obtiene un ajuste óptimo al utilizar la herramienta en la aplicación
real y aumentando o disminuyendo el par aplicado hasta que se alcance el ajuste
deseado. En cualquier caso, se recomienda que se realice el ajuste nal mediante
una progresión gradual.
Piezas y Mantenimiento
Una vez agotada la vida útil de la herramienta, se recomienda desarmarla, desengrasarla y
agrupar las piezas en función del material del que están fabricadas para reciclarlas.

Installation et Lubrication
Dimensionnez l’alimentation en air de façon à obtenir une pression maximale (PMAX) au niveau
de l’entrée d’air de l’outil. Drainez quotidiennement le condensat des vannes situées aux points
bas de la tuyauterie, du ltre à air et du réservoir du compresseur. Installez un raccordement à
air de sûreté dont la taille est adaptée au tuyau et placez-le en amont de celui-ci, puis utilisez
un dispositif anti-débattement sur tous les raccords pour tuyaux sans fermeture interne, an
d’empêcher les tuyaux de fouetter si l’un d’entre eux se décroche ou si le raccord se détache.
Reportez-vous à l’illustration 16585861 et au tableau de la page 2. La fréquence des opérations
d’entretien est indiquée dans la èche circulaire et est dénie en h=heures, d=jours, et m=mois
de fonctionnement. Eléments identiés en tant que:

Réglage de L’embrayage
AVERTISSEMENT
Coupez l’alimentation en air et débranchez le tuyau de l’outil avant de poursuivre.
Tournez le couvercle de l’orice de réglage pour exposer l’orice de réglage de l’embrayage
dans le carter d’embrayage.
Insérez une clé hexagonale de 1/4”dans la broche ou une clé sur le carré d’entraînement
et faites tourner le mécanisme d’embrayage jusqu’à ce que l’espace ayant une ouverture
entre les faces de la rondelle de l’écrou de réglage de l’embrayage et l’écrou lui-même soient
visibles.
Insérez la pointe d’un tournevis cruciforme Nº 1 dans l’ouverture et faites tourner le tournevis
pour régler l’embrayage. Faites tourner le tournevis dans le sens horaire pour réduire la ten-
sion et le couple du ressort d’embrayage et dans le sens inverse pour augmenter la tension
et le couple.

Le meilleur réglage est en général obtenu en utilisant l’outil dans une application
réelle et en augmentant ou en diminuant le couple produit jusqu’à ce que le réglage
désiré soit atteint. Quel que soit le cas, il est recommandé d’eectuer le réglage nal
de façon progressive.
Pièces Détachées et Maintenance
Lorsque l’outil est arrivé en n de vie, il est recommandé de le démonter, de dégraisser les
pièces et de trier ces dernières par matériau de manière à pouvoir les recycler.

Installazione e Lubricazione
La linea di alimentazione dell’aria deve essere dimensionata in maniera tale da assicurare
all’utensile la massima pressione di esercizio (PMAX) in ingresso. Scaricare quotidianamente la
condensa dalla valvola o dalle valvole sulla parte bassa della tubatura, dal ltro dell’aria e dal
serbatoio del compressore. Installare un fusibile di sicurezza di dimensioni adatte a monte del
tubo essibile e utilizzare un dispositivo antivibrazioni su tutti i manicotti senza arresto interno
per evitare i colpi di frusta dei essibili, se questi si guastano o se si staccano gli accoppiamenti.

da una freccia circolare e denita con h=ore, d=giorni (days) e m=mesi di uso eettivo.

Regolazione Frizione


Ruotare il tappo copriforo sull’alloggiamento frizione no a mettere allo scoperto il foro di
regolazione.
Inserire una chiave esagonale da 1/4”nel mandrino o una chiave sul porta punta quadrato e
ruotare il meccanismo della frizione nché non sia visibile l’area con un’apertura tra le super-
ci della rondella del dado di regolazione frizione e del dado di regolazione frizione.
Con un cacciavite con punta Philips n. 1, inserire quest’ultima nell’apertura e ruotare il cac-
ciavite per regolare la frizione. Ruotare il cacciavite in senso orario per ridurre la tensione della
molla della frizione e la coppia e in senso antiorario per aumentare la tensione e la coppia.

La regolazione più soddisfacente si ottiene solitamente usando l’utensile sull’applicazione
vera e propria e aumentando o riducendo la coppia fornita nché non si raggiunge
l’impostazione desiderata. In ogni caso, si raccomanda di eettuare la regolazione nale
con gradualità.
Ricambi e Manutenzione
Raggiunto il limite di operatività dell’utensile, si consiglia di smontarlo, sgrassarlo e
separare i pezzi in base al materiale con il quale sono costituiti, in modo da poterli riciclare.

Montage und Schmierung
Druckluftzufuhrleitung an der Druckluftzufuhr des Werkzeugs gemäß des maximalen
Betriebsdrucks (PMAX) bemessen. Kondensat an den Ventilen an Tiefpunkten von Leitungen,
Luftlter und Kompressortank täglich ablassen. Eine Sicherheits-Druckluftsicherung gegen die
Strömungsrichtung im Schlauch und eine Anti- Schlagvorrichtung an jeder Verbindung ohne
interne Sperre installieren, um ein Peitschen des Schlauchs zu verhindern, wenn ein Schlauch
fehlerhaft ist oder sich eine Verbindung löst. Siehe Zeichnung 16585861 und Tabelle auf Seite 2.
Die Wartungshäugkeit mit einem Pfeil eingekreist und ist deniert in h=Stunden, d=Tagen und
m=Monaten der tatsächlichen Verwendung. Teile:

Kupplungseinstellung
WARNUNG
Die Druckluftzufuhr stoppen und den Zufuhrschlauch vom Werkzeug trennen, bevor
fortgefahren wird.
Die Abdeckung der Einstellönung am Kupplungsgehäuse drehen, um die Einstellönung
freizulegen.
Einen 1/4”Sechskantschlüssel in der Welle oder einen Schlüssel auf dem Vierkantantrieb
einsetzen und den Kupplungsmechanismus drehen, bis eine Önung zwischen den Flächen
der Scheibe der Kupplungseinstellmutter und der Kupplungseinstellmutter zu sehen ist.
Die Spitze eines Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendrehers Nr.1 in die Önung einführen und den
Schraubendreher drehen, um die Kupplung einzustellen. Den Schraubendreher im Uhrzei-
gersinn drehen, um die Spannung der Kupplungsfeder und das Drehmoment zu verringern,
und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um die Spannung der Kupplungsfeder und das Drehmoment
zu steigern.

Die bestmögliche Einstellung wird gewöhnlich dadurch erreicht, indem das
Werkzeug bei der aktuellen Verwendung benutzt wird und dabei das gelieferte
Drehmoment gesteigert oder gesenkt wird, bis die gewünschte Einstellung erreicht
ist. In jedem Fall ist zu empfehlen, die Endeinstellung schrittweise durchzuführen.
Teile und Wartung
Ist die Lebensdauer des Werkzeugs beendet, wird empfohlen, es auseinander zu bauen,
zu entfetten und die Teile nach Materialien zu trennen, damit sie recycelt werden können.
Die Originalanleitung ist in englischer Sprache verfasst. Bei anderen Sprachen handelt es sich um
ein Übersetzung der Originalanleitung.
Die Reparatur und Wartung von Werkzeugen darf nur von einem autorisierten Wartungs- und
Reparatur-Center durchgeführt werden.

Geluids- en vibratiewaarden worden gemeten in overeenstemming met internationaal
erkende testnormen. De blootstelling van een gebruiker bij een specieke toepassing van
gereedschap kan afwijken van deze resultaten. Daarom moeten er op locatie metingen
worden genomen om het gevaarniveau in die specieke toepassing te bepalen.
Installatie en Smering
Om de maximale bedrijfsdruk ( PMAX) bij de luchtinlaat van het toestel te garanderen, moet de
luchttoevoerleiding hierop geselecteerd zijn. Tap dagelijks condensaat af van kleppen bij lage
punten van het leidingwerk, de luchtlter en de compressortank. Monteer een beveiliging met
de juiste afmeting bovenstrooms van de slang en gebruik een antislingerinrichting op elke
slangkoppeling zonder interne afsluiter om te voorkomen dat de slang gaat slingeren als een
slang valt of een koppeling losraakt. Zie tekening 16585861 en tabel op pagina 2.
De onderhoudsfrequentie wordt weergegeven in een cirkelvormige pijl met h=uren, d=dagen
en m=maanden reëel gebruik. Aangegeven onderdelen:

Koppeling Afstellen

Koppel de luchttoevoer los van het gereedschap voordat u verder gaat.

Draai de afdekking van de afstelopening om de afstelopening in het koppelingshuis bloot te
leggen.
Steek een 1/4”inbussleutel in de spil of een sleutel op de vierkante aandrijving en draai het
koppelingsmechanisme totdat het gebied met een opening tussen de oppervlakken van de
afstelmoersluitring en afstelmoer zichtbaar is.
Steek het uiteinde van een schroevendraaier met een #1 Philips-uiteinde in de opening en
draai de schroevendraaier om de koppeling af te stellen. Draai de schroevendraaier met de
klok mee om de spanning van de koppelingsveer en het aandraaimoment te verlagen en
tegen de klok in om deze te vergroten.

De beste afstelling wordt doorgaans verkregen door het gereedschap gewoon te
gebruiken om de gewenste schroeven aan te draaien, en daarbij het aandraaimoment
te verhogen en verlagen tot de gewenste stand is bereikt. Aangeraden wordt om de
uiteindelijke afstelling in geleidelijke stappen uit te voeren.
Onderdelen en Onderhoud
Als het gereedschap niet meer wordt gebruikt vanwege ouderdom, slijtage of defecten,
wordt u geadviseerd het gereedschap te demonteren en de onderdelen te ontvetten en te
scheiden voor recycling.
De originele instructies zijn opgesteld in het Engels. Andere talen zijn een vertaling van de
originele instructies.
Reparatie en onderhoud van dit gereedschap mogen uitsluitend door een erkend
servicecentrum worden uitgevoerd.
