Operating Instructions
Introduction
This powerful PowerBank (add on rechargeable battery) provides necessary voltage on the go for
mobile USB devices such as smart phones, tablet PCs and media players, as well as for notebooks,
small displays, and stereos powered with 12V, 16V or 19V DC. A broad range of adapters ensures you
have a suitable emergency/backup supply at hand for almost any device.

Intended Use
InLine Ultrabank Art. No. 01476 is designed to supply mobile devices such as smart phones, mobile
phones, tablet PCs, notebooks and similar devices with voltages 5V (USB), 12V,16V or 19V, e.g. for
recharging or short term use when no mains voltage is available.
InLine Ultrabank does not include protection against water, dust, dirt or excessive shock, so always
take care to protect the unit when in use. Permissible temperature range 10°C to +40°C, at max.
95% relative humidity.
Safety Instructions
•Never use Ultrabank close to water and do not submerge, since InLine Ultrabank is not
waterproof.
•Never expose InLine Ultrabank to direct sunlight.
•Never press InLine Ultrabank button with excessive force.
•Only operate InLine Ultrabank within the permissible temperature range of 10°C to +40°C
and at relative humidity below 95%.
•Never open InLine Ultrabank! Damage to lithium polymer battery within the unit may lead
to explosion and risk of injury.
•Never perform structural or mechanical alterations on InLine Ultrabank, since this invalidates
your warranty claims while increasing the risk of failure due to improper use.
•Always clean InLine Ultrabank with a clean, dry cloth, never use cleansing agents or water.
Notes on Transport
InLine Ultrabank contains a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. For transport of this unit in air flight
baggage, please respect your respective air carrier’s safety instructions.
Notes on Disposal
Lithium-polymer cells and waste electric appliances must not be disposed through household garbage.
lease dispose of your InLine Ultrabank via suitable recycling points that accept waste electric
appliances.
Notes on Storage
In case you do not use InLine Ultrabank for a longer period of time, store it at ca. 75% capacity (3
LEDs alight) between 20 and 50 degrees centigrade at max. 95% relative humidity, and recharge
every three months to ensure full performance and functionality.

Use and Initial Operation
Please note: Before first use please check with your device’s manufacturer which input voltage
(ampere and volt) is required (see manual or unit label). Maximum electric output of Ultrabank must
not exceed the electric input of the device to be recharged, otherwise the latter will not be recharged
while both devices may be damaged.
Recharge InLine Ultrabank
Recharge InLine Ultrabank by inserting the wall power supply into the INPUT jack; only use that wall
power supply which is included in the scope of delivery. Recharging process is shown by flashing LEDs
and will stop automatically as soon as InLine Ultrabank has been fully recharged; the 4 LEDs will then
stop flashing.
Charging Capacity Display of InLine Ultrabank
If no device is connected to InLine Ultrabank, you may check capacity status of InLine Ultrabank by
shortly pressing the Power button. Capacity is displayed as follows:
•Four LEDs light up: InLine Ultrabank electric charge is between 76 100%
•Three LEDs light up: InLine Ultrabank electric charge is between 51 75%
•Two LEDs light up: InLine Ultrabank electric charge is between 26 50%
•One LED lights up: InLine Ultrabank electric charge is between 1 25%
•No LED: InLine Ultrabank is fully discharged
After a few moments, the display lights will go out again.
Start Charging Process
InLine Ultrabank has different voltage outputs:
1. OUTPUT 1: One USB jack with 5V DC
2. OUTPUT 2: One DC coaxial power connector with 12V, 16V or 19V DC
Please note: Voltage selection between 12V, 16V and 19V via OUTPUT 2 is done by pressing the
Power button several times, and voltage is displayed accordingly on 3 LEDs next to the Power button.
Always select the suitable voltage before connecting the mobile device you need to recharge.
To recharge your mobile device please connect it to the respective InLine Ultrabank jack by using the
USB recharging cable of your device, or alternatively the respective combination of a DC power
connector and a connection cable forming a suitable recharging cable, as are included in the InLine
Ultrabank scope of delivery.

After connecting the correct cable the device will be supplied with suitable energy immediately. The
capacity status of InLine Ultrabank is displayed by 4 LEDs as described above. Check your unit’s
charge status by looking at the display.
After recharging has finished please remove the recharging cable from your device and InLine; a few
moments later InLine Ultrabank will automatically switch off and is ready for next use. If the cable
connecting your device remains in place, Powerbank will still switch off automatically as soon as no
further voltage is required (e.g. after your mobile device has been fully recharged or switched off).
Storage
The scope of delivery includes a bag for storing InLine Ultrabank; please follow the storage
instructions included in these operating instructions.
