GENERAL WARNINGS
• Keep the device away from children and pets.
• Do not block the air inlet and outlet, by placing items on the air outlet or in front of the
air inlet.
• Do not use outdoors - for indoor use only.
• Use only cold tap water as a basis (do not use groundwater, hot water or other liquids).
• Use only essential oils that are suitable for use in ultrasonic diffusers.
• Don´t pour out water from the function buttons side and the air outlet side.
• Only place the device on firm and level ground.

INTENDED USE
The InLine® Aroma diffuser combines the functions aroma atomizer, humidifier and am-
bient light, which can be operated individually or in combination. The control is done
either on the device itself or via APP, if a successful integration into the WiFi network has
taken place.

IMPROPER USE
Improper use within the meaning of foreseeable misuse applies:
• Do not disassemble the device
• Only use the device inside, not outside
• Do not expose the device to excessive heat
• Do not subject the device to vibrations
• Do not place the device within the reach of children and/or pets
• Do not place the device at an angle
• Fill the device up to the specified maximum filling quantity
RADIO FREQUENCY NOTES
General Allocation of Frequencies for Use in Local Networks; Wireless Local Area Net-
works (WLAN Radio Applications) Based on § 55 of the German Telecommunications Act
(Telekommunikationsgesetz - TKG) we herewith assign frequencies in the range 2400.0
– 2483.5 MHz for use of the general public in local networks, Wireless Local Area Net-
works (WLAN Radio Applications). With this General Allocation, we fulfil the compulsive
implementation of the Decision by the European Commission on Harmonisation of the
Radio Spectrum for Use by Short-Range Devices dated 2006/11/09 (2006/771/EG), as
amended by implementing the decision of the Commission dated 2011/12/08 (2011/829/
EU), published in the Official Journal of the European Union L 329, page 10 ff. dated
2011/12/13 in Germany.
If you intend to use this product outside of Germany, please read up in advance on the
respective regulations in your host country.

PREPARATION
1. Place the device on a flat, stable surface, remove both the top cover and the water
tank cover
2. Fill water up to the maximum level line and add a few drops of essential oil if you
want
3. Replace both covers
4. In addition, you can now attach one or both extensions of the diffuser and finally
place the metal tube closure on top
5. Insert the plug of the power cable into the socket
MANUAL OPERATION VIA KEYS
• Briefly press the power button to turn on the device. The lighting starts just as automa-
tically as the atomizing of the water.
• To manually turn off atomization only, press the mist/timer button for about 5 seconds.
The successful switch-off is confirmed by two beeps sounding shortly after each other.

• The manual switching on of the atomization takes place by briefly pressing the mist/
timer button and is acknowledged by a short signal tone. At the same time, the timer
setting for one hour of operation is activated and confirmed by a blue LED above the
imprint „1H“.
• To activate or change the timer setting, press the mist/timer button briefly until the
desired operating time (1 hour / 3 hours / 6 hours / continuous operation) is selected.
At each change the beep sounds and the respective LED lights up blue (in continuous
operation all 3 LEDs light up blue).
• To turn off the backlight, press the backlight button for about 5 seconds. The success-
ful switch-off is confirmed by two beeps sounding shortly after each other.
• The lighting is switched on manually by briefly pressing the backlight button and is ack-
nowledged by a short signal tone. The colors now change automatically about every
second.
• To select a fixed color, press the backlight button until the color you want is lit. Each
press of the backlight button is confirmed again acoustically by a beep. The order from
which a color can be selected is red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue and violet. If
the button is pressed further, the automatic colour change starts again.
• To switch off the device, briefly press the power button.

REGISTER AND LOGIN THE APP
1. Open the „Smart Life“ APP on your phone.
2. Register with your mobile phone number or email address.
3. Select the router and confirm the WiFi password if necessary.
4. This connects the APP to your network.
ADD/CONNECT DEVICE
1. Briefly press the power button to turn on the device.
2. Then press the power button for approx. 5 seconds until a beep sounds and the red
status LED flashes.
3. In the App, press the „+“ sign (top right) or „Add device“ (in the middle of the screen).
4. Select „Automatic Scan“ at the top. After a few seconds „Smart Aroma Diffuser“
should be found.
5. Please select to connect the device.
6. To add the appliance manually, please select the „humidifier“ from the „small hou-
sehold appliance“ section.

7. Select your WiFi and enter your WiFi password. Confirm to allow the device to con-
nect to your network.
8. The APP now connects to the device, wait until the display of your smartphone
confirms this.
9. After successful connection, the red status LED stops flashing and now lights up.
10. You can assign your connected device directly to a room, but you can also simply
ignore it. The device then appears in the device overview under „All devices“.
Basically, settings/scenarios/automations for several families can be stored in this APP.
The administrator has authorization to create families and access all families.

DEVICE CONFIGURATION
Select the device to be set from your connected devices by clicking on it in the list.

The following names and assignments make it easier for you to create automatisms and
scenarios.

TROUBLESHOOTING (FAQ)
THE DEVICE CANNOT BE SWITCHED ON
Make sure that the power is supplied
NO WIFI CONNECTION POSSIBLE
Make sure that the router and the device to be connected are turned on. Check the availa-
ble WiFi standard of the device. The InLine® Smart Home product supports WiFi 2.4GHz
/ IEEE802.11b/g/n.
NETWORK IS FOUND, BUT NO CONNECTION POSSIBLE
Make sure that you have entered your WiFi password correctly.
Share device: Here you can share yor set automatisms/scenarios with other
Smart Life App users and grant them access
Create group: Create a group of products of the same type that can react
simultaneously to actions
