IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
PRECAUTIONS
This exercise machine is built for optimum safety. However, certain precautions apply whenever you operate a piece of exercise equipment. Be
sure to read the entire manual before you assemble or operate your machine. In particular, note the following safety precautions:
1. Keep children and pets away from the machine at all times. DO NOT leave children unattended in the same room with the
machine. The linkages on this machine can cause serious injury if used improperly.
2. Never place your hands or feet in the path of the linkages because injury may occur to you or damage may occur to the equipment. Never
allow children to come near or approach the moving linkages while in use.
3. Always engage the CHILD SAFETY LOCK after use.
4. If the user experiences dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or any other abnormal symptoms, STOP the workout at once. CONSULT A PHYSICIAN
IMMEDIATELY.
5. Position the machine on a clear, leveled surface. DO NOT use the machine near water or outdoors.
6. Keep hands away from all moving parts.
7. Always wear appropriate workout clothing when exercising. DO NOT wear robes or other clothing that could become caught in the machine.
Running or aerobic shoes are also required when using the machine.
8. Use the machine only for its intended use as described in this manual. DO NOT use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
9. Do not place any sharp object around the machine.
10. Disabled persons should not use the machine without a qualified person or physician in attendance.
11. Before using the machine to exercise, always do stretching exercises to properly warm up.
12. Never operate the machine if the machine is not functioning properly.
13. Maximum user weight 300 lbs.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Keep seat slider clean
2. Inspect and tighten all parts before using the machine.
3. Keep objects away from the fan area. Never stick anything inside the fan grill.
3. The Frame, Shrouds and Seat Pad of the machine can be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent. DO NOT use solvents.

CB1 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: FRAME STABILIZER ASSEMBLY
1. AttachFrontStabilizerAssembly(#39)totheFrontMountingBracketusingQty.2CarriageBolts(#40),
Qty.2FlatWashers(#24)andQty.2AcornNuts(#23).
2. AttachRearStabilizerAssembly(#39)totheRearMountingBracketusingQty.2CarriageBolts(#40),
Qty.2FlatWashers(#24)andQty.2AcornNuts(#23).Ensuretherollerwheelsarefacing
backwards.

STEP 2: CONSOLE MAST ASSEMBLY
1. Connectwire(#2)totheconsole(#1).Pushconnectionthroughconsolemastopeningsothatconsole
sitsflatonconsolemountingplate.
2. SecureConsole(#1)toConsoleMast(#4)usingqty.2screws(#3).

STEP 3 CONSOLE ASSEMBLY
1. Connecttheconsolewire(#2)tomainframewire(#37)thenattachconsolemast(#4)tomainframe(#35)
usingqty.4button‐headscrews(#5)andqty.4washers(#6).

STEP 4: LEFT SWING ARM
1. Slidefrontpivotaxle(#28)throughtheLeftSwingArmAssembly(#30L)andscrewintomainframe(#35).
NOTE:TheLeftSwingArmbearingassemblycontainsaspacerbetweenbothbearingswhichmayprevent
thepivotaxlefrompassingthroughsmoothly.Topassthepivotaxlethrough,placeyourfingerinthe
bearingholeandcenterthespacer.

STEP 5: LEFT CONNECTING LINK
1. AttachLeftSwingArmAssembly(#30L)atbottomtoConnectingLink(#48L)usingqty.1bolt(#50),qty.
washer(#6)andqty.1nut(#56).

STEP 6: RIGHT SWING ARM
1. SlideFrontPivotAxle(#28)throughtheRightSwingArmAssembly(#30R)andscrewintomainframe(#35).
NOTE:TheLeftSwingArmbearingassemblycontainsaspacerbetweenbothbearingswhichmayprevent
thepivotaxlefrompassingthroughsmoothly.Topassthepivotaxlethrough,placeyourfingerinthe
bearingholeandcenterthespacer.

STEP 7: RIGHT CONNECTING LINK
1. Attach Right Swing Arm Assembly (#30R) at bottom to Connecting Link crank (#48R) using qty. 1 bolt (#50), qty.
1 washer (#6) and qty. nut (#56).

STEP 8 PEDALS
1. ScrewLeftPedal(#41L)ontoLeftCrank(#44L).
NOTE:TheLeftPedalhasand“L”stickerandisaLEFTHANDEDthread.TurnCOUNTER‐CLOCKWISEtotighten.
2. ScrewRightPedal(#41R)toRightCrank(#44R).

STEP 9: SEAT POST
1. Attach Seat (#31) to Seat Mast (#34) using qty. 3 washers (#32) and qty. 3 nuts (#33).

STEP 10: SEAT POST ASSEMBLY
1. Slide Seat Mast (#34) into Main Frame (#35). Insert the Adjustment Knob (#63).

1. ScrewintheChildSafetyKnob(#22)asshown.
IMPORTANT!
AlwaysengagetheChildSafetyKnob(#22)whennotusingtheunit.Failuretodosoposesadangerto
children.

COMPUTER OPERATION
FUNCTION BUTTONS
MODE
- Press to display different values on LCD screen. LCD can display SPEED, DISTANCE,
SCAN (Auto), TIME, CALORIES, ODOMETER.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds to reset all values to zero (except ODOMETER).
(When user replaces the batteries, all the values will reset to ZERO automatically.)
SET
- Set a target value for TIME, DISTANCE or CAL. When you start pedaling the target value will begin
counting down to zero. NOTE: When setting a target you cannot be pedaling or computer will not set
target.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds to speed up the increment.
RESET
- Press to reset value to zero when setting target value. Press and hold the RESET button to reset the
computer and set the target.
- Press and hold for 2 seconds to restart the computer.
(When the user replace batteries, all the values will reset to ZERO automatically.)

FUNCTIONS & OPERATION
1. Battery Installation
Install 2 AA 1.5V batteries in the battery case on the back of monitor.
(Whenever the batteries are removed, all the values will be reset to zero.)
2. Auto On/Off
When the user starts to pedal, the display will start automatically. After pedaling has stopped for over 256 sec, the display will
turn off, but the value of odometer will be stored. When the user starts pedaling again, the odometer will continue to count
incrementally.
3. Auto Scan
Press the MODE button until “SCAN” is displayed in the UPPER LEFT corner of the LCD. SCAN function will display all
values for TIME-CAL-ODOMETER-SPEED- DISTANCE. Each value will display for 6 seconds.
4. Speed
Shows the current training speed (MPH).
5. Distance
Accumulates the total distance from 0.0 up to 999.9 Miles. The user may preset a target distance by pressing SET button when
DIST is displayed (Do NOT pedal when setting target). Each increment is 0.1 Miles when distance is less than 100 Miles,
each increment is 1 Mile for distances between 100 and 999 miles. The unit counts down from the target to 0 when a target is
set. The computer beeps when the target DISTANCE is reached
6. Time
Accumulates total workout time from 00:00 up to 99:59. The user may preset a target TIME by pressing SET button when
TIME is displayed (Do NOT pedal when setting target). The unit counts down to 0 after target TIME is set. The computer
beeps when target TIME is reached.
7. Calories
Accumulates calorie consumption during training from 0 up to 9999 calories. The user may also preset a calorie target
before training by pressing SET when CAL is displayed (Do NOT pedal when setting target). Each incremental increase is 1
calorie until 1000, then each incremental increase will be 10 calories until 9990. When a calorie target is set, the computer
counts down to 0 calories. Computer beeps when calorie target is reached.
Note : This data is a rough guide and should not be used for medical treatment or analysis.
8. Odometer
Displays the total accumulated distance from 0.0 to 999.0 Miles. User may press MODE key to display the Odometer value.
9. Reset
Press and hold for 2 seconds to reset all values to zero (except ODOMETER).
Note:
1. If the computer displays abnormally, please remove and reinstall the batteries and try again.
2. Battery Spec: 1.5V UM-3 or AA (2PCS).
