outlets.Thedockscomewithasixfootuniversalpowercordand there-
foremustlocatedwithinthatdistanceofanoutlet.Theoutletsmustbe
grounded(three-prong)and withsufficientcurrent tocarrytheload
forthenumberofdockspercircuitbreaker.
Ifyouareuploading and downloading datawiththehostcomputeryou
will needtohavedatajackscloseby.Youwill alsoneedtohavecommu-
nicationcablesforconnecting thedockstothejacks.Theconnectors
areidentifiedinthisbookletbutcablesarenotprovidedintheinstalla-
tion kit.

Thesingledockis small and fairlylightweight,youcanattachthedock
thebracketsfirst,and theninstall thecompleteassemblytothewall.
Or,youcaninstall themounting bracketsonthewall beforeattaching
thesingledock.Installing themounting bracketsfirstisprobablythe
preferredmethodand thereforetheinstructionsforthatfollownext.

Youcaninstall thedocksonmoststructuresmadeofwood,concrete,
orcinderblock.Useanchorsthatwill support theweightand arede-
signedforthetypeofwall youwill beusing.
Someanchorselection guidelinesare:
"Concretestructuresusemetalexpansionanchors.Plastic an-
chorsordowelswill nothold.
"Cinderblockwalls,use 1/4inchorlargertoggleboltsintothe
hollowportionsoftheblocks.Expansionanchorsordowelspull
looseovertime.
