1.4.1IntendedUse—REM500
TheLiNXREM500isaRemoteoftheLiNXfamily,intended
toallowpoweredwheelchairuserstointeractwiththeLiNX
System.
TheREM500Remoteallowscontrolofdrive,actuator,
lightingandconnectivityfunctions.Itprovidesaninput
forbatterychargingandcontainsaBluetoothinterface
forconnectivityfunctionsonly(HIDanddiagnostics).It
isnotpossibletocontrolthewheelchairviaBluetooth.
TheREM500Remotedoesnotcontainajoystickandis
intendedtobeusedwithaseparateinputsource,including
alternativedriveinputcontrolssuchasheadcontrols.Itis
capableofprovidinginformationabouttheactiveuserinput.
