Azalearangemounted.
Invacarecaninnowaypredicttheeffectofanaccidentwith
othercongurations.
TheReaAzaleaproductrangehasbeentestedascomplete
productsincludingInvacarebackrests.However,whenthe
ReaAzaleaisorderedwithoutbackrest,itisnottobe
consideredasacompleteproduct.Onlywhenthebaseand
thebackrestsystemhavebeencombined,anevaluation
ofthesafetycanbedone.Thecompanythatmounts

Thismobilitydevicewassuccessfullytestedinaccordance
withInternationalstandardsastoitscompliancewith
ElectromagneticInterference(EMI)regulations.However,
electromagneticelds,suchasthosegeneratedbyradioand
televisiontransmitters,andcellularphonescaninuencethe
functionsofpoweredmobilitydevices.Also,theelectronics
usedinourmobilitydevicescangeneratealowlevelof
electromagneticinterference,whichhoweverwillremain
withinthetolerancepermittedbylaw.Forthesereasonswe
askyoutopleaseobservethefollowingprecautions:

Thisisapassivewheelchairwithseatandbackresttilting
mechanismandswing-away,angleadjustablelegrests.

Thewheelchairismanufacturedandcongured
individuallytothespecicationsintheorder .The
specicationmustbeperformedbyahealthcare
professionalaccordingtotheuser’srequirements
andhealthcondition.
–Consultahealthcareprofessionalifyouintend
toadaptthewheelchairconguration.
–Anyadaptationshouldbeperformedbya
qualiedtechnician.
3.2IntendedUse
Thewheelchairisintendedtoprovidemobilitytopersons
limitedtoasittingpositionwithahighlevelofdependency,
whoaresittinginthewheelchairforlongperiodsoftime
andpropellingthewheelchairoccasionally.
Thewheelchairisintendedforpersons,ages12andup
(adolescentsandadults).Theweightofthewheelchair
occupantshouldnotexceedthemaximumuserweightas
statedintheTechnicalDatasectionandontheidentication
label.
Theintendeduseristhewheelchairoccupantand/oran
assistant.Theusershouldphysicallyandmentallybeableto
usethewheelchairsafely(e.g.topropel,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairmaybeusedindoorsandoutdoorsonlevel
groundandaccessibleterrain(dependingonthechosensize
offrontcastors).
Indications
•Considerabletocompleteimpairmentofmobilitydue
