Purpose
This document outlines the installation DO’s and DON’T’s as well as preventive
maintenance procedures for Invixium devices.

Description
Like with any hardware product, the life of Invixium devices can be maximized by keeping
a few key things in mind during installation and post-installation.
The device must be installed in an environment that is specified for that particular Invixium
product. Additionally, frequent cleaning and preventive maintenance after installation are
recommended for all Invixium products.
Keeping these things in mind during and post-installation will also help improve the
operating performance of the product for enhanced user experience.

Installation –DOS & DON’Ts
Device Handling DOs
➢Handle with care, do not drop or step on the device
➢Perform occasional cleaning (every fortnight) to eliminate a build-up of dust, dirt,
oil and residual grime
Device Handling DON’Ts
➢Do not install in areas exposed to direct sunlight, high levels of humidity, extreme
dust or flammable vapors
➢Do not allow magnetic objects to come in close contact to any device
➢Do not install near any heating elements or equipment
➢Do not attempt to open or disassemble the device as this will void the product
warranty
➢Do not deploy for any use other than its intended purpose
➢Do not insert anything other than the correct fitting USB plug into the USB port
(bottom of the device)
Device Cleaning
➢The components that will require frequent cleaning are the sensor (every fortnight)
and the LCD as they will experience the most contact. The cleaning should be
performed with care and attention, as improper cleaning may damage the
components
➢The user should use a lint-free cloth to clean the sensor periodically
Do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals to clean the surface of the sensor. Also avoid
sandpaper, steel wool, scouring pads, chlorine, ammonia, bleach or any inappropriate
products for cleaning
