Thank you for purchasing the Ionmax ION330 Desktop / Car Air Purier.
Combining the advanced technologies of UV light, multi-layer lters and
negative ion generation, the ION330 reduces indoor air pollution caused by
dust, bacteria, harmful gases and vehicle exhaust, to provide you with cleaner
and healthier indoor air.
Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper usage and save these
instructions for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ ALL THE TIPS AND WARNINGS BELOW
BEFORE USING THE AIR PURIFIER.
● Use only as directed in the User Manual.
●Do not allow children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities
to operate the unit without adult supervision.
● Only designed for use with 12V DC power outlet.
● The unit is intended for use in a vehicle or single room.
● Do not use the unit in temperatures exceeding 70°C. Keep the unit away from direct
sunlight and high temperature objects.
● Only operate the unit when it is fully assembled.
● Never touch the unit with wet hands or allow it to come into contact with water.
● Turn off all controls before unplugging the power supply.
●Always disconnect the unit from the power supply before moving or cleaning the unit,
and when the unit is not in use.
● When removing the power plug, always hold the plug and never pull the cord.
● Do not attempt to disassemble the unit other than to replace the lters.
● For best results and optimum ionisation, do not place the unit on a metal surface.
● This air purier is not a substitute for proper ventilation, regular vacuum cleaning or an
extractor hood or fan while cooking.
● Leave at least 5cm of space behind and on both sides of the unit.
● Do not use the unit in bathrooms, kitchens, humid areas, near replaces, or place it
in proximity to ammable or combustible products, as electric shock and a re hazard
may result.
● Do not clean the unit with water or any other liquid including ammable products.
● Never operate the unit if the plug or cord appears damaged. Contact the authorised
distributor or qualied personnel immediately for examination and repair.
● Do not insert ngers, foreign objects, or any metallic items into the unit, the air intake
or air outlet, or block them by placing items in front of the air intake or air outlet.
● Do not place anything on top of the unit and do not sit on the unit.
●Do not place the unit directly below an air conditioner as condensation may drip into
the unit.
●Do not operate this unit when using indoor insect repellents (aerosols) or in places with
oily residues, burning incense or chemical fumes.
●Do not use the unit in a room with major temperature changes, as this may cause
condensation inside the unit.

FEATURES
The ION330’s unique two-fan system uses the fan on the right side to draw air
in from the room, to purify it as described below:
1. HEPA Filter
Traps particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as allergens, pollen, dust,
smoke and pet dander.
2. Photocatalyst Filters
Works with Ultraviolet Light to break down and destroy poisonous fumes,
VOC’s (such as formaldehyde and ammonia), odours, germs, viruses,
bacteria, mildew and fungus.
3. Ultraviolet Light
Kills airborne germs, viruses, fungi and bacteria.
4. Activated Carbon Filter
Absorbs and eliminates unpleasant smells, smoke and odours.
5. Negative Ions
Releases pure, ionised air back into the room.
6. Aromatherapy (optional)
Add your favourite essential oils to enjoy soothing aromatherapy with the
ION330.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate the unit without the lters and UV light
installed.
1. One HEPA lter, one activated carbon lter, ultraviolet light and two
photocatalyst lters are pre-installed. There is nothing further to install in
order to start using the unit.
2. To use the built-in Aromatherapy function, press the cover in to release the
tray, then remove the plastic cover and add the essential oil of your choice
to the cotton pad. Replace the cover and tray into the unit. To remove or
replace the tray, simply push in.
3. Plug the adapter into the proper power source.
4. Press the POWER button to turn the unit ON. The LED on the left side will
glow Red.
Press the POWER button again to turn the unit OFF. The LED will turn OFF.
The ioniser and UV light will always be switched on when the power for the
unit is turned ON.
5. Press the SPEED button to adjust the airow between HIGH (red indicator)
and LOW (green indicator).
Tips:
• For quick air cleaning, set the speed control to HIGH. After about 30
minutes, set the speed control to LOW.
• To maintain fresh air at all times, set the speed control to LOW. The unit
uses very little electricity.
• For quiet use in the evening, set the speed to LOW.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Please follow all maintenance instructions carefully.
Cleaning and Storing
1. Turn the unit OFF and unplug it before cleaning.
2. Use only a water dampened, soft cloth to clean the unit.
3. Never use solvents or other chemicals.
4. Store the unit in a cool, dry place when it is not in use.
UV Light Replacement
The UV light in the ION330 is designed to last for 20,000 hours of use.
If the UV light stops working, please do not attempt to replace it yourself.
Contact Andatech for a replacement.

• Remove and replace the HEPA lter, activated carbon lter and
photocatalyst lters at least every 12 months.
• The life of the lters depends on the amount of use and the concentration of
pollutants in the air.
• When replacing lters, please follow these instructions:
FILTER REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the central screw (only) from the
bottom of the unit.
4. Replace the upper cover.
5. Screw in the central screw.
2. Remove the upper cover from the top of the
unit.
3. Replace the lters in the correct order.

• Rell / replace the fragrance pad as needed.
• Keep the fragrance pad away from children. NOT TO BE EATEN!
• Please rell / replace the fragrance pad as per the following instructions:
1. Press the fragrance container in and remove it
from the back of the unit.
ADDING AROMATHERAPY OILS
2. Turn the fragrance container over and slide its
cover off.
3. Add 2-3 drops of essential oil(s) to the cotton pad.
4. Slide the cover back on and replace the container
into the back of the unit.
5. Switch on your ION330 and enjoy the aroma!

WARRANTY DETAILS
Congratulations on your purchase! It is our aim to provide you with quality products
that you can trust. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Guarantee
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period
of 12 months from date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under
normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion, solely at our
option with no charge for parts and labour. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in
addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the
Trade Practices Act and similar state laws.
Proof of Purchase
This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your
purchase docket or receipt as proof of purchase and as proof of date on which the purchase
was made. The purchase docket (or a copy) or receipt must be presented with the warranty
when making a claim under this warranty.
Service during the Warranty Period
To claim for warranty, contact us on 1300 800 200 or [email protected] to get an RA#
(Return Authorisation Number) or submit a support ticket on my.andatech.com.au. Ensure
that the RA# is clearly stated on the outside of the packaging and that the product is properly
packaged so that no damage occurs to the product during transit. Shipping of the product
back to us for warranty will be at your cost. A product return without the RA# or proof of
purchase will not be accepted.
Extent of Warranty
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or parts will
be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover manuals and packaging.
Normal Wear and Tear
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the product or parts.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
• Any defect caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper operation, lack of reasonable
care, unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person
not authorised by the distributor.
• Any product that has been damaged by a lightning strike either directly or indirectly or a
main power surge or liquid ingress.
• The product if it is located outside of Australia.
• Any damage caused by improper power input or improper cable connection.
