INDICATIONS
The heating pad is intended for over-the-counter use. However, if you have any medical questions, we strongly encourage you
to consult with your physician regarding indications for use of this heating pad.
Indications for Use
The iReliev® Premium Heating Pad is for active treatment as per intended use:
• For temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in the lower back due to strain from exercise or normal
household and work activities.
• For temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in the upper and lower extremities (arm and/or leg) due
to strain from exercise or normal household and work activities.
• For use by healthy adults for the stimulation of healthy muscles to improve or facilitate muscle pain.

The premium heating pad should not be used on people with cardiac demand pacemakers.
WARNINGS
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
• DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.
• NEVER LEAVE THIS APPLIANCE UNATTENDED, ESPECIALLY IF CHILDREN ARE PRESENT.
• DO NOT USE ON AN INFANT.
• DO NOT USE ON AN ANIMAL.
• THIS PAD IS NOT TO BE USED ON OR BY AN INVALID, SLEEPING OR UNCONSCIOUS PERSON, OR A PERSON WITH POOR
BLOOD CIRCULATION UNLESS CAREFULLY ATTENDED.
• THIS PAD IS NOT TO BE USED ON A PERSON WITH DIABETES.
• DO NOT USE ON AREAS OF INSENSITIVE SKIN.
• BURNS CAN OCCUR REGARDLESS OF CONTROL SETTING, CHECK SKIN UNDER PAD FREQUENTLY.
• DO NOT USE IN AN OXYGEN ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT.
• DO NOT USE PINS OR OTHER METALLIC MEANS TO FASTEN THIS PAD IN PLACE.
• DO NOT SIT ON OR CRUSH PAD – AVOID SHARP FOLDS.
• POSITION PAD ON TOP OF, AND NOT UNDERNEATH, THE BODY. HEAT LEVEL MAY INCREASE WHEN HEAT IS TRAPPED.
• NEVER USE PAD WITH LINIMENTS, OINTMENTS OR SALVES, ESPECIALLY THOSE CONTAINING HEAT-PRODUCING INGRE-
DIENTS, AS SKIN BURNS COULD RESULT.
• NEVER PULL THIS PAD BY THE SUPPLY CORD.
• NEVER UNPLUG PAD FROM ELECTRICAL OUTLET WITH A WET HAND.
• IF USING AN EXTENSION CORD WITH THIS PAD, THE MARKED ELECTRICAL RATING OF THE CORD SET/EXTENSION CORD
SHOULD BE AS GREAT AS ELECTRICAL RATING OF THE PAD (SEE ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS SECTION). USE THIS PAD
ONLY ON A 120 VOLT AC ELECTRICAL OUTLET. UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE.
• DO NOT USE THE CORD AS A HANDLE.
• DO NOT BEND OR PINCH THE CORD AND DO NOT USE THIS PAD IF IT HAS A DAMAGED POWER CORD OR PLUG, IF IT
MALFUNCTIONS, HAS BEEN DROPPED, OR IS DAMAGED. THIS PAD HAS NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS. IF FOR ANY REA-
SON THIS PAD DOES NOT FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY, PLEASE CONTAT US FOR A REPLACMENT. WE OFFER A LIFETIME
WARRANTY.

SET UP PROCEDURES
For best results, we recommend using the weighted heating pad in either a lying or sitting position.
1. Locate cord connector on the product near the care instructions label.
2. Do not plug into the wall outlet until you have connected the controller cord to
the product.
3. To connect the cable to the connector, align the connector and cable arrows
and push gently until it locks.
4. Plug the power cord into a 110-120 wall outlet.
5. Make sure all cords are tangle free and not trapped or pinched in any way,
including but not limited to between mattress and box spring, sofa cushions,
against wall, chairs, or other furniture.
6. Do not wrap the controller in the throw while in use.
7. Do not use with generator power.
8. To disconnect the controller, fi rst unplug the cord from the outlet, then pinch
sides of the connector and pull apart.
This heating pad has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other) as a safety feature. This plug will fi t into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fi t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still does not fi t, contact a qualifi ed electrician.

Caution: The cable must be fully plugged in. A loose connection could cause a fi re hazard.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OVERCOME THIS SAFETY FEATURE.
WARNING: Do not use this heating pad with other heating pads/electric blankets under
sheets. The heating pad will shut off automatically after 1.5 hours.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
• Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• Make sure the receptacle on the Pad Connector is disconnect
from the wire.
• Hand wash or spot clean only.
• Line dry or lay the Pad fl at to dry.
• Make sure the product is completely dry before the next use.
• To store the product, loosely roll the Heating Pad into a folded
• position and then store it in a cool, dry location
after each use. Avoid sharply folding the Heating Pad.
• NEVER place in dryer or hang to dry.

The warranty applies to the heating pad, necessary parts, and labor relating thereto.
The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from failure to follow the operating instructions, accidents, abuse, alterations, or
disassembly by unauthorized individuals.
