User Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Ivation Hand Crank Lantern with AM/FM Radio and Alarm.
This User Guide is intended to provide you with guidelines to ensure that operation of this
product is safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use that does not conform to the
guidelines described in this User Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product and retain this guide for reference.
This product is intended for household use only.
This product is covered by a limited one-year warranty. Coverage is subject to limits and
exclusions. See warranty for details.
Unpack the Ivation Hand Crank Lantern with AM/FM Radio and Alarm carefully, removing
all packaging materials. Check the contents to ensure that all parts and accessories are
present, and are in good condition.
Safety Precautions
1. Do NOT point directly at eyes. This may cause vision problems or blindness.
2. Ensure comfortable arm and hand motion when cranking. Rotate in steady motion.
3. To maximize battery life and functionality, follow the instructions below:
a. Do not crank it for more than five (5) minutes when the power in the battery is lighting
normally. Crank less than ten (10) minutes when unit is entirely out of power.
b. When the light is dim, the battery low. Turn off unit and turn crank for power generation.
c. Crank in steady rotation. Cranking too slowly can result in weak current and poor
charging efficiency. Cranking to fast or violently may damage the driving system.
d. In order to prolong the lifespan of the battery, you crank unit for at least one (1) minute
over the course of a month when not in regular use.
4. Do NOT use this product in high temperatures or humidity. Avoid dropping or hitting this unit.
5. Turn off the light when charging in to enhance the charging efficiency.
7. The product will be get hot when cranked too long.

Setting Up
1. Unpack the Ivation Hand Crank Lantern with
AM/FM Radio and Alarm ensuring that all
components and accessories are present.
2. Charge
a. For external power insert USB
cable to the USB port and connect
to power source.
b. For crank power generation, flip up
the charging crank handle and rotate
clockwise steadily (NOT longer than
five minutes)
General Operation
1. Adjust the rotating handle to desired position by pushing the release (orange) button
at the base of the handle.
2. Select Flashlight Mode or Lantern Mode using the Flashlight / Lantern Switch.
3. For radio operation, select AM or FM using the AM / FM / ALARM Switch.
4. Select the desired frequency (station) using the Tuning Dial.
5. Adjust the sound level (volume) using the Volume Dial.
6. For Alarm mode, select ALARM using the AM / FM / ALARM Switch
a. Alarm will sound
b. Light will flash (Red strobe LEDs)
