INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Ivation® Heavy-duty Propane
Torch with Push-button Igniter. This User Guide is intended
to provide you with guidelines to ensure that operation of this
product is safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use
that does not conform to the guidelines described in this User
Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product and retain
this guide for reference. This product is intended for domestic,
outdoor use only.
This product is covered by a limited one-year warranty.
Coverage is subject to limits and exclusions. See warranty
for details.

• Do not operate this torch if:
• You are subject to seizures, loss of consciousness, or fainting.
• You have been drinking alcohol, using drugs, or taking prescription
medication that could aect your judgment or balance.
• You have not read or do not understand the User Guide.
• You are not capable of safely operating this type of equipment.
• You are overly tired or fatigued.
• Make sure to familiarize yourself with the appliance before using it.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to
operate or handle this product.
• Use extreme caution at all times when operating this device.
• Do not leave product unattended while in operation.
• Do not aim torch towards yourself, people, or pets.
• This product is for outdoor use only.
• Ensure your work area is well ventilated.
• Make sure no parts are damaged or missing from the torch.
• Do not use this device in the rain or in wet/damp conditions.
• Do not use in an atmosphere with combustible gas.
• Keep children and pets away from product during operation.
• Always wear protective, flame-resistant gloves and goggles when operating
this product. Long-sleeved shirts, pants, and boots are also recommended.
• Do not smoke while using this appliance.
• Do not submerge the torch in any kind of liquid as this could result in hazard
or other personal injury.
• Do not drop or throw the product.
• Do not stand or prop the torch on the burner end while in operation.
• If you smell gas:
• Shut o the device immediately.
• Extinguish any open flames.
• Check the device for leaks by covering it with soapy water.
• Do not attempt to reignite the device until all leaks are repaired
and you no longer smell gas. If you are unsure, ask a qualified
professional for help.

WARNING! Please read and understand all safety precautions and
instructions before operating this appliance. You need to understand
the applications, limitations, and potential hazards associated with this
appliance. This appliance is not intended for use by children; persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities; or persons with
lack of experience and knowledge. Improper usage of the product can
result in damage to the product or serious injury to the user.

• Do not use this product to heat, mold, or bend plastic sheets, tubing, etc.
• This product should not be used with propane cylinders less than 20 lbs.
• Do not use this product to strip or remove paint.
• Always close the torch valve and wait for the torch to cool down before
tightening or removing the torch head and before installing or removing
accessories. Failure to do so could result in severe burns.
• Always keep away from heat or flame, and avoid prolonged exposure to
sunlight.
• Don’t use any fuel other than propane with this torch or it could result
in fires, explosions, property damage, and/or operator injury.
• When the gas cylinder is empty, dispose of it properly in a safe and approved
location. Do not throw the cylinder into a fire, puncture, or incinerate it.
• It is illegal and dangerous to refill the propane gas tank on your own. Obtain
a new propane cylinder from an authorized retailer.
• Do not inhale gas, fumes, vapor, or spray from the propane cylinder or
torch, and avoid contact with skin and eyes. If inhaled, immediately move
the aected person to fresh air. For skin contact, flush with lots of water.
In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and then
seek medical advice.
• Ordinary brick and concrete can explode when subjected to temperatures.
Do not work on wood or metal surfaces with this product. Always shield
your work.

an approved propane gas cylinder. Do not attempt or allow liquid fuel
to be used with this torch.

CHECKLIST
• Visually inspect all parts of the torch equipment for any signs of
damage and/or wear. If you see any excessive abrasion or wear on
the hose, or the hose has been cut/torn anywhere, you will need
to replace it before you use the torch.
• Use a soapy water solution to check all connections and fittings
for leaks. DO NOT USE A MATCH OR OPEN FLAME TO TEST
FOR LEAKS.
• Check your propane cylinders for dents, damage to the collar and
valve, or a corroded foot ring. Never use a damaged cylinder.
Make sure you know that your propane is a vapor withdrawal fuel
and not liquid withdrawal. ONLY VAPOR-WITHDRAWAL
CYLINDERS MAY BE USED WITH THIS TORCH.
• Light the torch and check the operation of valves and other
adjustable parts.
NOTE: When extinguishing the torch, make sure to shut o the
propane cylinder valve first, and allow gas to burn out of the lines.

INSTRUCTIONS
Connecting the Propane Cylinder:
Make sure the cylinder valve is fully turned o. Then, remove the
protective plastic plug from the cylinder valve outlet connection. This
torch should not be used with a propane cylinder tank less than 20 lbs.
Connect the POL fitting connector on the fuel hose to the propane
cylinder by turning the nut counterclockwise.
Tighten the connection with a wrench.
Open the cylinder valve slowly. Check all LP-gas connections for
leaks using soapy water for leak detection.

Lighting the Torch:
• Close all the valves.
• Open the cylinder valve slowly.
• Open the torch adjusting valve with a 1/8 turn or until gas is heard
when the safety trigger is pressed down.
• Ignite the torch by pressing the igniter button on the torch.
• Adjust the torch adjusting valve to control the intensity of the flame.
If gas doesn’t flow, then reset the torch. To reset:
• Release the safety lever and close the torch adjusting and cylinder
valves.
• Wait 10 to 20 seconds.
• Open cylinder valve slowly. Then, open the torch adjusting valve,
press down on the safety trigger, and ignite.
NOTE: If the torch continues not to operate properly, turn o the
valves and check that the propane cylinder isn’t empty.
Shut o the Torch:
• Release the safety trigger (if needed) to reduce the flame from
large to a smaller size.
• Turn the cylinder valve o so no more gas escapes the cylinder.
The flame may continue for a short amount of time, but should
extinguish quickly.
• Turn the torch adjusting valve to the closed position once flame is
no longer visible.
Disconnecting the Propane Cylinder:
• Make sure that the propane cylinder is turned o.
• Disconnect the POL fitting connector from the propane cylinder.
• Place the protective plastic plug back on the cylinder valve outlet
connection.

• Clean the torch surfaces with soap or detergent/water
solutions. Do not use petroleum-based cleaners to clean any
components of the torch or the torch body.
• Remove any debris and obstruction from the torch. The torch must
be kept clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and
other flammable vapors and liquids.
• Inspect the supply hose before every use.
• Never attempt to store the torch when it is hot.
• Make sure torch is disconnected from the propane cylinder when
storing the torch indoors.
• Do not clean the burner tube immediately after turning the flame o.
Put it in a cool, dry location for about 30-45 minutes after use. Make
sure it is completely cooled, then clean it.
• Always store the torch and gas cylinders separately. Make sure to
read other warnings on the gas cylinder label regarding storage and
disposal.

LIMITED WARRANTY TO ORIGINAL CONSUMER
This Ivation® Heavy-duty Propane Torch with Push-button Igniter (“Product”),
including any accessories included in the original packaging, as supplied and
distributed new by an authorized retailer is warranted by C&A Marketing, Inc.
(the “Company”) to the original consumer purchaser only, against certain
defects in material and workmanship
(“Warranty”) as follows:
To receive Warranty service, the original consumer purchaser must contact the
Company or its authorized service provider for problem determination and
service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted
invoice, evidencing that the Product is within the applicable Warranty period(s),
MUST be presented to the Company or its authorized service provider in order
to obtain the requested service.
Service options, part availability, and response times may vary and may change
at any time. In accordance with applicable law, the Company may require that you
furnish additional documents and/or comply with registration requirements
before receiving warranty service. Please contact our customer service for

Shipping expenses to the Company’s Return Facility are not covered by this
warranty, and must be paid by the consumer. The consumer likewise bears all
risk of loss or further damage to the Product until delivery to said facility.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS The Company warrants the Product against
defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE
(1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser
(“Warranty Period”). If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received
within the Warranty Period, the Company, at its sole option and to the extent
permitted by law, will either (1) repair the Product defect at no charge, using
new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) exchange the Product with a Product
that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used
parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original device, or (3) refund
the purchase price of the Product.
A replacement Product or part thereof shall enjoy the warranty of the original
Product for the remainder of the Warranty Period, or ninety (90) days from
the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides you longer protection.
When a Product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your
property, while the replaced item becomes the Company’s property. Refunds
can only be given if the original Product is returned.
This Warranty does not apply to:
(a) Any non-Ivation® Heavy-duty Propane Torch with Push-button Igniter
product, hardware or software, even if packaged or sold with the Product;
(b) Damage caused by use with non-Ivation® Heavy-duty Propane Torch with
Push-button Igniter products;
(c) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or
other external causes;
(d) Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended

uses described by the Company;
(e) Damage caused by third party services;
(f) A Product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability
without the written permission of the Company;
(g) Consumable parts, such as batteries, fuses, and bulbs;
(h) Cosmetic damage; or
(i) If any Ivation® Heavy-duty Propane Torch with Push-button Igniter serial number
has been removed or defaced.
This Warranty is valid only in the country where the consumer purchased the Product,
and only applies to Products purchased and serviced in that country.
The Company does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted
or error-free. The Company is not responsible for damage arising from your failure to
follow instructions relating to its use.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY AND TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY PROVIDES THE
PRODUCT “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE AND THE
COMPANY AND ITS LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL
WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY,
INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF
THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS. THE COMPANY DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC
RESULTS FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, OR THAT THE COMPANY WILL
CONTINUE TO OFFER OR MAKE AVAILABLE THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PARTICULAR
LENGTH OF TIME. THE COMPANY FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER
THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE.
YOU USE THE PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK. YOU WILL BE
SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR (AND THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS) ANY AND ALL
LOSS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY
YOU FROM THE COMPANY OR THROUGH ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDERS
SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING
FROM OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT OR
OTHERWISE EXCEED THE FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY OR
ANY OF ITS AUTHORIZED RESELLERS FOR THE PRODUCT AT ISSUE IN THE LAST
YEAR FROM YOUR PURCHASE. THIS LIMITATION IS CUMULATIVE AND WILL NOT
BE INCREASED BY THE EXISTENCE OF MORE THAN ONE INCIDENT OR CLAIM.
THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY OF ANY KIND OF ITS LICENSORS
AND SUPPLIERS. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY OR ITS LICENSORS,
MANUFACTURERS, AND SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, DIRECT,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (SUCH AS, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS, SAVINGS, DATA,
OR RECORDS) CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.
Nothing in these terms shall attempt to exclude liability that cannot be excluded
under applicable law. Some countries, states, or provinces do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow limitations on
warranties, so certain limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state
to state or province to province. Contact your authorized retailer to determine if
another warranty applies.
