Jøtul C 24 – Vifteløsning gir økt luftsirkulasjon i konveksjon-
skammeret og dermed høyere komfort ved bedre tilførsel av
varm luft til omgivelsene.
Installasjon
Ved tilgang til konveksjonskammerets bakside.

• Skru ut skruer som fester viftelokk til konveksjonskammer
(Fig 1A).
• Fjern viftelokk (Fig 1B).
• Skru ut skrue som fester sidevegg i innluftkammer (Fig 1C).
• Fjern sideveggen til innluftkammer (Fig 1D).
• Klem ut spor til kabel (Fig 1E).

• Tre ledningen med hun-kontakten gjennom sporet i
viftelokket (fig 2A).
1. Fest ledningen til bøylen i bunnen av viftelokket med strips
(pass på at kontakten har nok kabel til å passe) (Fig 2B).
2. Koble sammen han-kontakt og hun-kontakt (Fig 1B-C).
3. Sett vifteenheten på plass (Fig 2D).
4. Skru fast vifteenheten med samme skrue som festet
sideveggen (Fig 1B-E).
5. Sett på plass viftelokket og skru fast alle 5 skruene
(Fig 1B-F).
Uten tilgang til konveksjonskammerets
bakside.

• Skyv vifteenheten inn mot bakveggen(fig 9A).
• Koble sammen han-kontakt og hun-kontakt(fig 9B).
ADVARSEL! Ledningen til hun-kontakten må ikke være
tilkoblet elektrisitet på dette tidspunktet.
• Skyv vifteenheten sideveis inn, slik at skruehullet over
viften på venstre side passer med gjengehullet for skruen
som holdt sideveggen i innluftkammeret på plass (fig 9C).
Pass på at pakningen ikke rives ut av stilling.
• Skru fast vifteenheten med samme skrue som festet
sideveggen (fig 9D).
• Vifteenheten kan nå kobles til elektrisitet og testes. NB:
Monteres av autorisert elektriker ihht lokale regelverk..
• Sett på plass skjermplaten og skru fast skrue midt på
denne (fig 6A/B).
• Åpne innluftspjell dersom det ikke er tilkoblet uteluft
(fig 7A).
• Sett inn frontstykke med askebunn. Skyv den godt inn mot
bakkant (fig 5B).
• Sett inn bakre brennplate (fig 4C).
• Skru fast to skruer i bakre brennplate (fig 4A) og to skruer
på baksiden av frontstykke (fig 5A). Skru godt til.
• Sett inn hvelvet (fig 4B). Hvelvet skal hvile på bakre
brennplate, samt henge på en skrue på venstre side.
• Sett inn sidebrennplater (fig 3).
• Sett på plass askeskuff og fyrrist dersom disse ble fjernet.

Bruk
Vifteenheten gir bedre luftsirkulasjon rundt brennkammeret og
bedre spredning av varmen i rommet.
Vifteenheten har to operasjonsmoduser:Auto og Manuell.Disse
velges ved hjelp av skyvebryteren på styringspanelet.
Posisjon A = Auto. Viften starter på valgt hastighet når
brennkammeret begynner å avgi varme. Når brennkammeret
er kjølt ned igjen, vil viften stoppe automatisk.
Omslagstemperatur
Start: 50oC
Stopp: 35oC
Posisjon M = Manuell:Viften kjører på valgt hastighet.
Hastigheten på vifta styres med hjulet på styringspanelet.
Denne har fire posisjoner.

The Jøtul C 24 has a fan solution that increases air circulation in
the convection chamber, thereby effectively warming the room
and providing enhanced comfort.
Installation
With access to the rear of the convection chamber.

• Unscrew the screws holding the fan cover for the
convection chamber (Fig 1A).
• Remove the fan cover (Fig 1B).
• Unscrew the screw holding the side wall inside the inlet air
chamber (Fig 1C).
• Remove the inlet air chamber side wall (Fig 1D).
• Push out the cable slot (Fig 1E).

• Thread the cable with the female connector through the
slot in the fan cover (Fig 2A).
1. Use cable ties to secure the cable to the bracket on the
bottom of the fan cover (make sure there is enough cable
for the connector to fit) (Fig 2B).
2. Connect the male and female connectors (Fig 1B-C).
3. Put the fan unit into place (Fig 2D).
4. Secure the fan unit using the same screw that was holding
the side wall (Fig 1B-E).
5. Refit the fan cover and tighten all 5 screws (Fig 1B-F).

• Lift out the baffle (Fig 4B)
• SUnscrew the two screws on the back burn plate. (Fig 4A)
• Lift out the back burn plate (Fig 4C).

• Unscrew the two screws on the back of the front piece
(Fig 5A-A).
• Pull the front piece out with the ash base (Fig 5B). Practical
tip:The ash pan and fire grate can be removed first to
reduce the weight.

• Close the inlet air damper if it is open (Fig 7A).
• Remove the heat shield (bild 7B).

• Unscrew the screw holding the side wall inside the inlet air
chamber (Fig 8A).
• Remove the inlet air chamber side wall (Fig 8B).
• Push out the cable slot (Fig 2A).
• Thread the cable with the female connector through the
slot in the fan cover.
• Secure the cable to the bracket on the bottom of the fan
cover (make sure there is enough cable for the connector to
fit) (Fig. 2B).

• Push the fan unit in against the rear wall (Fig 9A).
• Connect the male and female connectors (Fig. 9B).
WARNING! The female connector cable must not yet be
connected to an electrical source.
• Push the fan unit in sideways so that the screw hole over
the fan on the left-hand side fits with the threaded hole
for the screw that was holding the side wall in place inside
the inlet air chamber (Fig 9C). Be careful not to knock the
gasket out of position.
• Secure the fan unit using the same screw that was holding
the side wall (Fig 9D).
• The fan unit can now be connected to electricity and
tested. NB: Installation must be carried out by a qualified
electrician in conformance with local regulations.
• Refit the heat shield and tighten the screw in the middle of
the shield (Fig 6A-B).
• Open the inlet air damper if there is no outside air
connection (Fig 7A).
• Insert the front piece with the ash base. Push it firmly
against the rear (Fig 5B).
• Insert the back burn plate (fig 4C).
• Screw two screws into the back burn plate (Fig. 4A) and
two screws on the rear of the front piece (Fig. 5A). Tighten
well.
• Insert the baffle (Fig. 4B). The baffle should be resting on
the back burn plate and hanging on a screw on the left-
hand side.
• Insert the side burn plates (Fig 3).
• Refit the ash pan and fire grate if these have been removed.

Use
The fan unit improves air circulation around the burn chamber
and heat distribution in the room.
The fan unit has two operating modes:Auto and Manual.These
are selected using the slide switch on the control panel.
Position A = Auto.The fan starts at the selected speed when the
burn chamber starts to generate heat. When the burn cham-
ber has cooled down again, the fan stops automatically.
Setpoint
Start: 50oC
Stop: 35oC
Position M = Manual:The fan runs at the selected speed.
The speed of the fan is controlled using the dial on the control
panel.This has four position.
