Thank you for purchasing the iMeter
Please use the following instructions to install the iMeter
For network configuration
1. Connect a standard CAT5 cross-over network cable between the iMeter Master’s
network port and the network socket on your PC.
2. Follow the “Configuring iMeter Master on the network” instructions.
1. Set a static IP address for the Local Area Connection of the PC to be 192.168.0.1
with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and a gateway of 192.168.0.1.
NOTE: You can run the "IPSet.exe" program provided on the iMeter
Master CD-ROM to display the iMeter Master’s current IP address.
2. Open a web browser and browse to http://192.168.0.100/.
3. The Summary webpage will be displayed.
4. Click on the Settings tab.
5. Open the Connections menu on the right and select Ethernet Network.
6. The IP address details of the iMeter Master can be set here.
NOTE: The default IP address of the iMeter Master is 192.168.0.100.
7. Connect the iMeter Master to the network using a standard CAT5 straight-through
cable.
8. Remember to change the IP address of the PC back to the previous setting.

iMeter is now installed on the network
Start your web browser, enter the iMeter Master’s IP address in the address text box,
and press enter to display the summary page.
For extra functionality the iMeter Slave or iMeter DC16 can be added to any iMeter Master
using standard CAT5 straight-through cable connecting to any of the 4 Expansion Ports on
the front of the iMeter Master.
The added sensor ports will automatically be added to the Summary page of the iMeter
Master.
The iMeter Slave adds 8x RJ45 sensor ports.
The iMeter DC16 adds 16x Volt-free Dry Contact ports.
