3.2 Preparation
ADJUST W RKING ANGLE
The working angle can be adjusted in five positions to the flooring to
be removed.
To adjust, loosen the knurled handle and hook it in the desired
position and fix it again.
If the working angle is too large for the covering to be removed, the
vibrations are returned to the device
-> FAST WEAR OF MEISSEL
If the working angle is too small for the covering to be removed, the
chisel slips or pushes instead of scraping
-> INSUFFICIENT REMOVAL OF THE BELAY
ALWAYS PULL UT THE MAINS PLUG BEF RE ADJUSTING!
ADJUST W RKING HEIGHT
The grip angle is infinitely adjustable and can be individually adjusted to body
size or requirements for hand and arm strength.
To adjust to the optimum working height, loosen the cross handle and fix the
handle top again in the desired position.
The optimal working height can be determined as follows:
- Posture upright
- Upper arms vertically downwards
- Right angle between upper and

3.3 Start up
When putting the machine into operation, the machine must stand evenly
on both wheels and the chisel must rest on the ground. DO NOT TIP
MACHINE AS LON AS IT IS!
Make mains connection!
The electrical connection must match the information given on the rating
plate. Check device, cable, plug and socket for damage.
Before working in old buildings, the subfloor must first be checked for
stability! Danger of damage due to the resulting vibrations of the device.
Wear ear protection!
Always wear protective goggles when working with the machine;
Protective gloves; Wear strong and non-slip protective shoes and
protective mask!
Switching on / off takes place via the control box on the guide handle.

3.4 Mode of operation
Hold the machine firmly with both hands by the handles!
Do not start the machine without protective cover!
Wear personal protective equipment!
Make sure that the chisel is not dull. Keep your work environment clean
and free of debris to avoid unnecessary chisel wear.
PVC TILES
Never use a chisel that is wider than the tile.
If tiles can not be removed or the machine jumps over the tiles, use a
smaller chisel.
VINYL, RUBBER, PU PVC FL RING, B NDED CARPET
Cut the coverings into strips. Pre-cut pads make the machine easier to
steer and increase the life of the chisel.
Cut the webs best with the web cutter JAMAS
CERAMIC TILES
Before removing the ceramic tiles, they must be broken by a hammer.
For small tiles or mosaic laying the break is not necessary.
Start from the door or from a tile-free surface with the distance
so that the chisel can reach under the tiles
Clean off the removed surfaces to get a good ground contact of the chisel.
Use narrow chisel and work with low feed.
W D FL RS
To avoid damaging the chisel, remove nails or other metal obstacles.
For a clean removal of finished parquet or laminate must first be pre-cut
first. A chalk mark with the width of the blade can be drawn to pre-cut on
the pad.
- When removing solid wood parquet always precut cause
it breaks up in small parts.
- When removing plywood panels, the machine should work
in the same direction as the wood grain.
- When working with parquet planks in laying direction, do not work
transversely or across the grain.

4 MAINTENANCE
4.1 Care
Before any maintenance / care or repair work unplug the power cord.
Careful care and regular maintenance of the machine are a prerequisite
for function and safety.
Malfunctions that have been caused by inadequate and improper
maintenance can cause very high repair costs and long machine
downtime. Regular maintenance is therefore essential.
CLEANING
Wipe the machine regularly with a dry cloth.
Check the ventilation slots of the machine regularly and keep it clean.
Clean the inside of the hood after each use of fixed dirt and blow out with
dry compressed air.
MAINTENANCE INTERVALS
Daily and before the start of work
- Examine the leads for damage.
- Control of all safety devices for effectiveness.
- Checking all accessible screw connections for tight fit.
Yearly
- Complete overhaul and cleaning of the complete machine.
Due to the different operating conditions, it is not possible to determine in
advance how often an inspection and maintenance is required.
Taking into account the operating conditions, an appropriate inspection
route should be established.
Motor
The motor is equipped with carbon brushes. If the wear limit is reached,
the electronic device switches off automatically.
For worn carbon brushes, a service should be added in addition to brush
replacement a service point.
REPAIR
Repairs or replacement of electrical components must only be carried out
by a specialist. Only use original spare parts.
