Application
Start smoking slowly, you do not need to do sharp drags as it was when
smoking regular cigarettes. Tightening should be smooth and not deep in

will achieve the full effect.

Basic operations
№1. Switch ON/OFF
To preheat the device, within two seconds, press the power button 3 times. After the preheating is completed, the
light diode will begin to flash slowly. You will hear a single vibration of the device. The light diode burns steadily,
which means that you can start smoking.
The recommended smoking duration for which the Japan Gold 5.0 model is designed is 5 minutes. Before
completing the smoking process, a single vibration of the device will occur, which warns that it remains possible to
make two puffs. After the red light flashes five times, you need to remove the lid with the stick up, then remove the
used tobacco stick from the heat-protective lid and discard it.
If during the smoking process there is a desire to take a break, the power button must be pressed quickly three
times. In this case, the white light flashes three times, which means that the device turns off. But in this case, an
unused tobacco stick should not be reused. It is better to replace it with a new stick.
№2. Mode switching
There are three modes of operation. To change the operating mode, you need to press the power button 5 times for
3 seconds in standby mode and the light diode will start to light steadily for two seconds. Green light is the high
voltage mode, blue light is medium mode and white is weak mode. In the process of smoking, switching modes is not
supported.
№3. Battery status
Quickly press the power button twice. In this case, the green light lights up for two seconds, thereby indicating that
power is present.
Even before the smoking process, the system will detect that the battery voltage is too lower than 3.2 volts, the red
light blinks 5 times, thereby reminding you to charge, and after that the device automatically turns off. In this case,
you must charge the device. Two charging methods are offered: via USB. During charging, the green light flashes.
After charging is complete, the light turns off for 5 minutes. Do not smoke during the charging process. Reaching a
full charge state can take about 1 hour. A full charge is designed to use 10 tobacco sticks.
№4. Protection function
If the heater is short-circuited, poorly connected or not installed, press the power button 3 times. In this case, the
green light blinks 3 times and the device turns off. If the charging process lasts for 2 hours or more, the charging
process stops automatically.
№5. Self cleaning function
Fully charge the device, open the heat shield and start the self-cleaning procedure by pressing the power button 8
times.
During self-cleaning, a red light will blink. Upon completion of the self-cleaning procedure, the red light will turn OFF.
(!) In order not to burn yourself, do not touch the heating element during cleaning.
(!!) This function is used only once with each cleaning. Do not resort to her constantly.
To make sure that the device has cooled down, you need to wait 5 minutes. Use a damp cloth, swab, special paper,
or other cleaning agent to clean the heat shield and heating element. Then, reinstall the heat shield. It is
recommended to resort to a self-cleaning procedure every two days.
