a)Installing Batteries
Press the BatteryCoverReleaseButton and slide down/ removethe batterycover. Insert twonewAAalkaline
batteries. Notepolarityonbatteryterminals. Slideup andclosethebatterycover.
b)Installing SD/SDHCMemoryCard
InserttheSD/SDHC MemorycardintotheSDCardSlot. Checkcard’salignmentaccording to
position diagramon therecorderbeforeinserting.
Pushitdownuntil thecardstays latched.Donotforcecardduring insertion –forcing maydamage
SD/SDHCcardand recorderaswell.
Pushandreleaseinsertedcardwhenyou wishtoremoveorreplacethecard;notethatinserting /
removingtheSDMemorycardshouldonlybedonewhentherecorderisOFF.
NotethattheSD/SDHCCardhasatinyLOCKswitchontheside.Setthe switchonthecardtoun-LOCK; only
thisun-locked positionwill allowyou tostorerecorded videosandstill picturesontheSD/SDHCMemoryCard.

UseUp/Down/Left /RightButtontoscroll and selectdesired file; press Record/Start/Stop/OKButton " "toconfirm.
Press Record/Start/Stop/OK Button " "tostart playing video; press this buttonagainifyou wishtostop.
Press " "(UpButton)to zoominand viewenlarged Still image infull resolution.Press " "downbutton toreturn to
normalscreen sizeand press samebutton againtoreturnto thumbnail”format.
When you havezoomed in, press " "or" "(LeftorRightButton) toenter PANMODE”.Then pressing direction
buttonswill movethe enlarged image inanydirection soyoumayview selectedpicturesegment.
Toexit from PANMODE”, press Record/Start/Stop/OK Button " ".
NOTE:Pleasenotethatrecordedvideo and imagesappearnarroweron recorderLCD screen (approx10%less)than
actualrecorded scene.All recorded imagesand video will be displayed full frameand reflectrealimage sizewhen
played backon computermonitorandTVscreen.

h) Deleting VideoorStill Picture
RecorderofferstwoDeleteoptions;
DeleteCurrent”displayed video orstillpicture, or, DeleteAll”video,pictures, datafromthe SDMemorycard.
SelectthePlaybackmodethen press theDeleteButton " "onceselecting DeleteCurrent, orpressDelete
Buttonagainselecting ”DeleteAll.”
TheLCDscreen will displayrelated messages: DeleteCurrent?”or DeleteAll?”
PressRecord/Start/Stop/OKButton" "toexecutedeletion ofCurrent/All videoorstill pictures;pressany other
button toabort / cancel Delete”function.
Pleasenotethat therecordercannotexecutedeletefunctioniftheSDMemorycardissetat LOCK position.
i) Languageoption selection:
Yourvideo recorderhastheoption todisplaycommandsand messageson thescreen inEnglish, FrenchorSpanishor
possiblyalternativelanguages.
Toselect language, activatethevideo recorderand it will remaininVideo Recording Mode.
Press and holddownthe DELETEbutton for3seconds –the LanguageMenu willappearon thescreen.
UseUP/DOWNbuttons(zoombuttons)toscroll and selectdesired Language;press the centerOKbuttontoconfirm
and setyourlanguagechoice.

Connectto PC
1. Pressandthenslideupthe switchtoextract USBconnector.Turnthe recorderON.
2.Insert recorder’sUSB connectorintoUSBport oncomputer, orusesupplied USB extension cabletoconnect.
DownloadVideo/PhotosFrom RecorderToPC
1.Afterconnecting tocomputer,go to"MyComputer”and open the"Removable
Disc"whichrepresentsyourrecorder.
2.Open the DCIM\100MEDIAfoldersinthe RemovableDisc;yourrecorded video
and picturesarestored inthis folder.Choosethe desired photo/videofromthe
100MEDIAfolderand copy(drag withmouse)itintodesignated folderinyour
computer, if you wishtodownload pictures/ videostoyourcomputer.
TVOutput
1.Plug inTVcable:Insertthe single-connectortorecorder.Connecttheend with
double-connectorstovideo (yellow)and toaudio(red orwhite)input jackonTV.
2.Turnon TVand recorder.
3.Switchmode on TVtoselectvideo input (see yourTVmanualforinstructions).
