Donottrytoopen thehousingofthecamcorderorattempttomodifythiscamcorderin
anyway. Maintenanceandrepairsshouldbecarried onlybyan authorizedserviceagent.
Keepthecamcorderawayfromdust, sand,waterandotherliquidsorharmfulchemical
substances. Donot usecamcorderwhen yourhandsarewet.

Insert/ remove theSDCard

press it downuntil theCardislatched.
2. Lightlypress theCarddownwardstoreleaseand then eject thecardwhenyouwishto
removeorreplacetheCard.

1. Macro:SettoMacro onlyforshooting close-up objectslocated6~10 inches
fromcamcorder.
2. Normal: Set toNormal fortypicalrecordswhen thesubject islocatedat 5feet
ormorefromthecamcorder.
4. PowerONand OFF your camera
1. OpentheLCDscreen
2.Pressand then holdthePowerbuttondown(foroneortwoseconds)toturnthe
powerON.

Camcorderbecomesactiveand theLCD will displaythescene.
3. PressthePowerbutton again(when camcorderisactive)toturnthepowerOFF.
AutoPowerOFF:YourcamcorderhastheAutoPowerOFF feature.
Ifcamcorderisunused for1minute,thepowerwill turnOFF automaticallytosave
batteries.
TheAutoPowerOFF timemaybesetto1,3or5minutes(reviewSetupMenumode
fordetails).
3. LowPower/ Batterylevelindicator:Thelowpowericonwill appearonthe
LCDScreen when thebatteriesareexhausted andcamcorderwill beautomatically
turned OFF.
