Right Case (Pinion Side) Bearing Plate Use:
1. Apply a small amount of oil to th thr ads of th scr w #1024. Install th scr w #1024
approximat ly 1/2 way through th install r plat nsuring th corr ct sid will b facing up.

suffici ntly tight n th hollow s t scr w #5833-4. See Fig 4.
4. Plac lubricant b tw n th b aring install r pilot #5833-2 and th Oil-Lit b aring/bushing
#5833-3. Lubricat th bottom fac of th Oil-Lit b aring/bushing as shown in Fig. 5.
Lubricat th b aring bor with Sunn n Ass mbly lub or similar.

dow l pin (refer to Fig. 1 for correct placement). Ins rt th 5/16-18 x 1-1/2” SHCS #1217
and wash rs (right cas ) and scr w th m into th appropriat hol s (Mark d “F” for front
cas , and “R” for th r ar of th cas ) snug, and back off 1/8 turn, s Fig. 6.
6. Align th b aring install r pilot #5833-2 with th balanc r b aring bor and car fully low r
th b aring installl r pilot by rotating th scr w #1024 clockwis until it bottoms out in th
balanc r b aring bor , back off 1/4 turn. DO NOT forc th pilot into th bor or cas dam-
ag may r sult. Tight n th thr 5/16-18 x 1-1/2” SHCS #1217 until tight with an All n
k y. See Fig. 7.

WARNING: -DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN FASTENERS OR DAMAGE TO THE CASE MAY OCCUR.
-DO NOT FORCE PILOT INTO BORE OR DAMAGE TO THE WILL OCCUR.
-BALANCER BEARING PLATE MUST BE ALIGNED TO BEARING BORE ACCORDING
TO DIRECTIONS BEFORE PRESSING THE BEARING INTO THE CASE OR CASE
DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
9. Back th B aring install r Pilot #5833-2 out until it almost touch s th Balanc r Install r Plat
#5833-1.
10. Lubricat th l ading fac and out r dg of th b aring (custom r suppli d) to b install d
with Sunn n Ass mbly Lub or similar. Plac th Balanc r B aring onto th Balanc r B aring
Pilot #5833-2 with th l tt ring facing upward, and hold in plac using your fing rs whil
turning th Scr w #1024 clockwis until th b aring contacts th balanc r b aring bor . See

install r plat . Us a 5/16 AN Wash r #1216 on both sid s as shown, s curing ach SHCS
