STEAM CLEANING

SAFETY WARNINGS
-These instructions are very i portant. Please read this instructions anual carefully before
using the appliance and keep it at hand to refer to it at any ti e.
-JOCCA declines any responsibility for the i proper use of the product, or any other use that is
not described in this anual.
-Before using the product for the first ti e, unpack the product and check that it is in perfect
conditions. If not, do not use the appliance and contact JOCCA, as the guarantee covers any
da age fro origin or anufacturing defects.
-This product is only indicated for do estic use. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Never
leave the appliance exposed to cli atic agents such as rain, snow, sun, etc…
-This appliance is intended to be used only by adults. Do not allow people not accusto ed to
this kind of appliances, handicapped people or children to use this ite .
-Before connecting the appliance to the ains, check that the cable and plug are in perfect
conditions. Also check that the voltage indicated on the appliance is valid for your electrical
installation.
-If you detect that the power supply cable, the plug or the adaptor are da aged or have fallen
into water or any other liquid, do not use the appliance, replace the cable, the plug, or the
adaptor. Go directly to the authorised JOCCA technical service where they will replace it
correctly for you.
-Never leave the appliance cable hanging.
-Do not i erse the appliance or any part of it in water or any other liquid.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance fro the ains, always pull fro the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any other liquid do not use it or try
to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA technical service.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always use JOCCA spare parts and
accessories.
-Co pletely unroll the power cable to avoid overheating.
-This appliance will be co pletely switched off when it is unplugged fro the ains.
-Please ensure that the safety cap is fully closed before plugging in the appliance.
-Please ensure that the stea outlets both on the appliance and on the accessories are
unobstructed.
-Whilst in use, the cleaner should never be tilted ore than 45 degrees.

-This appliance lets off stea that can cause burns. Never ai the stea jet at ani als or
persons, and never let stea out over gar ents that are actually being worn and in contact
with the body. The hot stea release ust be arket by the following sy bol:
-Please ensure that your hands are dry and that you have footwear on before plugging in the
cleaner to the ains electricity.
-Never add anti-oxidants, or alcohol, or any other product that is not specifically reco ended
for the appliance, since these ay cause da age to the tank.
-Change the nozzles and the accessories when these have cooled down, and with the appliance
disconnected.
-Never overfill the tank since this could cause excess stea pressure.
WARNING: Unplug the appliance in the following cases:
-When you are going to refill the appliance.
-Whilst you change the accessories that you are going to use after having waited for the
appliance to have cooled down sufficiently.
-When you finish using it.
-When there is an electricity cut.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Put the stea cleaner on a flat surface, push down and unscrew the safety cap and put the
funnel in place.
-Pour 175 l of clean water in the filler vessel and add the water to the cleaner tank. (The
axi u capacity of the tank is 300 l. Do not exceed this capacity as there should be e pty
space in the tank). Put the safety cap back in its place.
-Connect the appliance to the ains electricity. The pilot light will light up.
-After about 6 inutes, the stea will be ready. When this happens, press the stea
pushbutton and check that the stea is spraying out properly through the nozzle.
-Install the accessories you need, but do this always with the appliance disconnected fro the
ains electricity, after having checked this, being very careful not to spray stea at the sa e
ti e by not pressing on the stea pushbutton.
-Press the stea pushbutton once again to start up the operations that you wish to carry out.
-In order to disinfect and sterilise, insert the long nozzle in the short nozzle and point it towards
the area to be sterilised; then press the stea button.
FILLING OF THE TANK WHILST OPERATING
-Disconnect the plug fro the ains electricity supply.
-Press the stea pushbutton to release the pressure until no stea whatsoever is co ing out.
-Very slowly unscrew the safety cap, but do not re ove it since there still ay be stea inside.
The cap therefore ust be left in place until all the stea has been released.
-If the cap cannot be unscrewed because it is ``cross threaded´´, this eans that the pressure
inside the tank is very high; in order to unscrew the cap the stea button should be pressed,
as any ti es as required, in order to eli inate all the stea and then be able to unscrew the
cap.
-When all the stea has been released, place the cleaner on a cold surface for around five
inutes for it to cool down. Now the safety cap can be re oved.
-Use the funnel and the filler vessel to top up the water tank with the a ount of water
necessary.
-Replace the safety cap on the cleaner and screw it right down in its position.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
-After having used the stea cleaner, disconnect the plug fro the ains electricity supply.
-Press the stea pushbutton until all the pressure has been released and also all the stea
fro the inside.
-When all the stea has been released, place the cleaner on a cold surface for around five
inutes for it to cool down. Now the safety cap can be re oved.
-E pty any water that ay be left in the tank and clean the outside surface with a dry cloth.
-Replace the safety cap on the cleaner and screw it right down in its position.
-Never i erse the appliance in water or under the faucet.
