Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the device as it is unsafe to start device without
reading the manual. Instructions on the following pages will show you proper handling of the device in
general manner. You should be particularly familiar with the required treatment and precaution before
proceeding.
CAUTION The device must be used only under the supervision of licensed practitioner or :
technically trained person.
Ÿ Do Not operate this unit in an environment where other devices are being used that intentionally
radiates electromagnetic energy in an unshielded manner.
Ÿ Do Not use sharp objects such as a pencil point or ballpoint pen to operate the button on the touch
screen.
Ÿ This unit should be operated in temperatures between 170 and 380C, transported and stored in
temperatures between -300 and +600C, with Relative Humidity ranges from 30% to 60%.
Ÿ Inspect all cables before each use.
Ÿ The Hi lipo Contour system is not designated to prevent the ingress of water or liquid. Ingress of water
and liquid could cause malfunction of internal components of the system and therefore create a risk of
injury to the user.
Ÿ Inspect cable and associated connector before each use.
1.1 Warnings
Ÿ The long term effects of electrical stimulations are unknown.
Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied over the carotid sinus nerves, particular in the patient with known
sensitivity to the carotid sinus reex.
Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied transthoracically in that the introduction of electric current into the
heart may cause cardiac arrhythmias.
Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied transcerebrally.
Ÿ Electrode should not be applied over the neck or mouth, or anywhere else on the head. If stimulation is
applied over the neck or mouth, especially sever spasm of the laryngeal and pharyngeal muscle may
occur and the contraction may be strong enough to close the airway or cause difculty in breathing.
Ÿ Stimulation should be applied only to normal intact skin, and stimulation should not be applied over
open wounds, over swollen, infected, or inamed areas or skin eruptions e.g. phlebitis,
thrombophlebitis varicose vein etc.,
Ÿ Stimulation should not be applied over, or in proximity to, cancerous lesions.
Ÿ TENS should be used only under the continued supervision of a physician or licensed practitioner.
Ÿ TENS waveform have no curative value.
Ÿ If you have any medical concerns, such as severe medical illness, epilepsy or seizures, or recent
surgery, please consult your doctor before undergoing the therapy.
Ÿ Potential adverse reaction may include electrode burns, skin irritation, or redness.
Ÿ Make certain the unit is electrically grounded by connecting only to a grounded electrical service
receptacle conforming to the applicable national and local electrical codes.
Ÿ To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the unit from the power source before attempting any
maintenance procedures.
