Power Meter Test

Turn on the machine while holding down the key on the Control Panel.Auto Focus

After the unit initialize the Display will look like this.

You are now ready to run your power meter test. Make sure you remove the and airlens nozzle

Place the of the power meter below the lens carriage so that the red dot is in the center.
You do not have to be very accurate as far a center goes and focus does not mater as there is no lens.

Hold down the button in the center of the power meter for 2 seconds. Let go, close the door and
press and hold the button on the Control Panel until you hear the meter beep or the numbers stop
changing. This should take about 5 seconds. DO NOT FIRE for longer then 8 Seconds.
If you power is good your done. If the power is low you will need to test at the laser. You will need
someone to help you. One person to hold the power meter, and one person to fire the laser.
With the doors closed hold the of the power meter firmly up against the optic at the end of
the laser.
Press the button on the meter for 2 seconds.
Just as before when the meter beeps or 8 seconds has past at the most say Stop.

Tell your helper to fire the laser by holding down
the Button. Have them say “I am firing the laser”.
Before removing the
meter make sure your helper has said "I have stopped holding down the button.”

If your power is good here you will need to determine where you are loosing power by checking your
mirrors, and beam alignment.

TEST MODE FOR OTHER GCC LASER EQUIPMENT
In order to enter TEST mode with other GCC equipment, turn off
your laser and hold the keys described below while turning on
the machine.
