Insert the power plug into the electrical socket
and switch the main switch on. Make sure that
the light on the main switch comes on.
Should the acoustic and optical signal (orange light)
go off during operation, add a little water as described
above.
While heating up and during operation, the device
pumps water into the boiler at irregular intervals.
This causes a humming noise.
After around 5 minutes the device is heated up
and the green “ready“ light will come on.

Sample Uses
In the domestic field there are many possible uses for your Jt Care® hot air device. In the following
we have summarised some sample uses for you.
Drain
Hold the jet above the drain at full steam
for around 10 – 15 sec.Then turn your water
tap on and rinse the drain out with water
and steam!
Use the small plastic brush for chrome
parts.
Armature
Depending on the degree of fouling,
use middle to full steam with the jet
and brush, as needed.Places that you
can’t reach with the brush can be
cleaned using just the jet.
Oven/Stove
You can get the stainless steel sponge
(special accessory) from us or in any
household goods department or drug
store.Stick it tightly on the medium
plastic brush and then put both
on the jet. Switch to medium to full
steam, aim the jet with the stainless
steel sponge at the dirty area for around
ca. 10 – 15 sec. first and then begin to
remove the baked-on material with light
pressure and small circular motions!
Then just wipe off with an old towel!

13
Sample Uses
Floor (natural)
Take the floor brush, insert a thermo-towel
(double-layered) and go over the floor evenly
at low steam.Test first on an inconspicuous
location.
Ceramic-stovetops
Clean using the jet and stainless steel
sponge as with an oven.
Exhaust hood
Depending on the type of exhaust hood
use the triangle brushwith thermo-towel
or in small corners and edges use the jet
with the small brush!
Attention: Do not steam on the light or switch!
Shower stall
For normal dirt use the triangle brush with
a thermo-towel to clean and dry in one pass.
In the case of stubborn fouling you can
pre-clean first using just the brush (without
thermo-towel).
Select the steam volume based on the dirt.
It’s best to use the jet to clean all corners,
edges and cracks!
Where you have room you can also use
the small plastic brush. Depending on
the degree of fouling you can use medium
to full steam.
Attention: Use a protective pad
on sensitive surfaces! !

14
Bicycle/Motorcycle
For larger surfaces (cowling, casings, etc.)
use the triangle brush with thermo-towel.
On all smaller surfaces use the just with
the small plastic brush. Using the jet you
can clean all small, inaccessible locations
terrifically well..
Everything except electrical components.
Window sills
Take the jet, spray the frame from a distance
of around 10 cm distance and wipe off the
dirt with a thermo-towel! Using this method
you can clean the entire frame inside and
out.
Windows and other glass surfaces
If the fouling is light take the window
cleaner, set it on the top edge of
the window and go downward evenly
at a small to medium amount of steam.
Wipe off the rubber lip with a towel and
then make the next pass and repeat until
done.Wipe off the edges with a dry towel.
If the fouling is tougher, take the triangle or
floor brush with an extension and clamp on
a thermo-towel. Clean the window surface
with them. Then take the window cleaner
and just wipe off the residual moisture!

Sample Uses
Tiles
Clamp a thermo-towel into the floor brush
and go over the surface with middle steam.
In the case of stubborn dirt, flip up the ther-
mo-towel and clean using only the brush.
Then wipe off with the thermo-towel.
Joints
Clean the tile joints with jet and the small
brush (on the floor best done using both
extensions). Use small back-and-forth motions,
moving forward slowly. In the case of very
stubborn dirt in mortar joints, you can use
the metal brush with light pressure.
Garden furniture
Take the triangle brush with thermo-towel
and clean the garden furniture at middle
steam.Where you can’t reach with
the triangle brush, you can use the jet with
the small plastic brush.
Freezer
To defrost use the spray jet and melt the frost
with the steam. Heavily frosted areas ban be
chipped out in large chunks with the scraper.
Attention: Never aim the steam jet at
the lights or the thermostat! Do not keep
the steam aimed at plastic parts too long!

16
Dishwasher
Here you can clean away all fouling with
the jet- especially in corners and gaps
(e.g. under the door seal). You can also
clean the door edges and the rubber
gaskets with the jet and the small plastic
brush.
Wooden furniture
Steam wood with the jet from a distance
of around 25 cm and wipe off with a dry
towel. This method even removes deposits
of cooking grease and nicotine.
Attention: Depending on the sensitivity of
the surface, you will need to keep at least
25 cm distance.
Tiled stove
To clean the window on your tile stove,
use the stainless steel sponge as for oven
cleaning!
The glass will look like new! For smooth tiles
use the triangle brush with thermo-towel.
Spray rough tiles with deep grooves using
the jet and then wipe them off with a dry
towel. You can just spray off the vent gratings
on the tile oven with the jet.
Radiators
Take the jet and set the steam to full.
Then slowly spray the whole breadth
of the radiator. Best place an old towel
underthe radiator so that you catch
the dirt.

Sample Uses
Cork
Take the floor brush, clamp on a
double-layered thermo-towel and go over
the floor evenly at low steam.Test the effect
of the steam on the material first on an
inconspicuous location.
Laminate
Take the floor brush, clamp on a thermo-towel
double layered and go over the floor evenly at
low to medium steam.
Leather
Leather is very sensitive to heat!
For that reason never apply steam to
the material directly! Take the jet and spray
the leather from a distance of 20 cm using
low to medium steam and then rub off with
a dry towel.
Plastic
Depending on the size of the surface,
take the triangle or floor brush, clamp
on a thermo-towel and go over
the surface at medium steam.
Painted surfaces
Depending on the size of the painted surface,
take the triangle or floor brush, clamp on
a thermo-towel and go evenly over
the surface evenly with low or medium steam.

Linoleum
Take the floor brush, clamp on a thermo-
towel and go over the floor evenly at low
to medium steam.
Marble
Take the floor brush, clamp on a thermo-
towel at small to medium steam.
Mattresses
Take the floor brush, clamp in a thermo-
towel and go evenly over the surface at
small to medium steam. Turn the mattress
over and treat the other side the same way.
Then set the mattress aside open and leave
it for around 3 hours.
Metal
Depending on the size of the surface,
clean either with a jet and then polish with
a towel or using the triangle brush,
clamping on a thermo-towel at medium
steam.
Parquet
Solid or prefab parquet can be steam-
cleaned easily if the sealing is not
damaged. Use the floor brush with
a (double-layered) thermo-towel
clamped on and clean the floor at low
to medium steam.
Sample Uses
Attention: Use protective pads
on sensitive surfaces.

Sample Uses
Plants
Use steam to dust and moisten plants
of all kinds. Simply spray the plants with
the jet from a distance of around 30 cm
at medium steam.
Rattan
Take the jet and spray from a distance
of ca. 10 to 15 cm at medium to full steam.
Then wipe off with a dry towel.
Upholstery
Depending on the sensitivity of the material
you can use the triangle brush with an
attached thermo-towel at low steam or
steam the surface with the jet at a distance
of 10 cm and dry off the upholstery with
a towel afterward. Always clean evenly and
in one direction – with the nap.
Rolling blinds
Close the rolling blinds until the slits are
just open and then spray them out with
the jet. Then completely close the rolling
blinds.Take the triangle or floor brush,
depending on the size of the blinds, clamp
in a thermo-towel and go over the rolling
blinds evenly at low to medium steam.
Wipe with a dry towel if necessary.
Attention: Velvet or velour (glossy)
may not be treated with steam!

Sample Uses
Edges
Whether edges, corners, gaps or nooks.
With the jet you can go everywhere.
Just follow the surface at an angle at
medium to full steam. For heavy fouling
attach the brush and work with light
back-and-forth motions.
Sanitary areas
For cleaning bathtubs, wash basins, toilets
and showers, use the triangle brush with
or without thermo-towel at medium to full
steam.
For small surfaces take the jet with an
attached small brush and then wipe off with
a towel.
Loosening wallpaper
Go with the floor brush at medium to full
steam over the wall paper slowly. Repeat
the process in rows. The steam is especially
effective if you prepare the wall paper
with a needle roller.
Attention: Not suitable for drywall!
Carpet floors
Clean the carpet floor with the floor brush
(thermo-towel clamped at all four sides)
and both extensions on medium steam.
