Before first use
■Wash the Bowl , Peeling Disk* and Lid in hot soapy water using a
non-scratch brush or scourer, then rinse. Dry thoroughly using a soft cloth.
■Make sure the Base Unit is positioned on a clean, dry surface and that the
rubber feet are stable.
■Assemble (see Assembly) before plugging in your Potato Peeler to the
mains power.
*Take care when handling the Peeling Disk as parts are very sharp.

Assembly
1. Check that the On/Off Switch is
set to off before assembly.
2. Place the Bowl onto the Base
Unit ensuring the Lower Cut-
Out Switch is aligned. Failure to
position correctly will prevent the
Potato Peeler from operating.
3. Place the the Peeling Disk* onto
the axis inside the Bowl .
4. Add enough potatoes to the Bowl
to cover the Peeling Disk*
(maximum of 1kg).
5. Add a little water (maximum 200ml)
to the Bowl aid peeling.
6. Place the Lid onto the Bowl
with the ’T’ section to the rear. The
’T’ section must slot into the Upper
Cut-Out Switch at the rear of the
bowl.
7. Push both the front and rear Lid
Clips upwards to lock the Lid (4)
into place.
Tips
■Do not use baking potatoes, as
these are too large, for best results
cut your potatoes so that they
measure no more than 5cm x 5cm.
■Wash potatoes in fresh water before
cooking.
■Sprinkle with flour, before putting in
the oven.
Peeling Potatoes
1. Plug the Potato Peeler into the
Mains socket
2. Set the On/Off Switch to —(On).
3. The Potato Peeler will begin to
function. (The appliance may
vibrate during use but the rubber
feet keep the appliance from moving
significantly).
4. As a rough guide, the Potato Peeler
should take around 2 minutes
to peel a quantity medium sized
potatoes. Due to potatoes varying in
size and shape, this time may vary.
Smaller potatoes will give better
results than large.
5. Check progress regularly, never allow
the machine to operate continuously
for longer that four minutes and
allow ten minutes between each
four minute use period.
6. Once potatoes are peeled set the
On/Off Switch to O(Off).
7. Unplug the Potato Peeler from
the Mains socket.
8. Remove the potatoes from the Bowl
.
9. The Potato Peeler can not remove
skin from recesses or irregular
shapes. Remove any remaining skin/
eyes by hand using a small knife.
■Wash potatoes in fresh water before
cooking.

Cleaning
■Always set the On/Off Switch to O(Off) and unplug the Potato Peeler
from the Mains socket before cleaning.
■Wash the Bowl , Peeling Disk* and Lid in hot soapy water using a non-
scratch brush or scourer, then rinse. Dry thoroughly using a soft cloth.
■No parts of the Potato Peeler are suitable for dishwasher use.
■Never use harsh abrasives to clean the Potato Peeler.
■Never immerse the Mains Cable and Plug or Potato Peeler Base Unit in
water or any other liquid. Wipe clean with a damp cloth when necessary.

Cautions
■This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children less than 8
years.
■Otherwise, always keep the appliance out
of the reach of children.
■Do not use the appliance with an
external timing device or a separate
remote-control system.
■Assemble fully as described in this
manual before connecting to the mains
power supply.
■Never site the Potato Peeler on or near
a hot gas or electric hob or in a heated
oven.
■Before use, check that your mains power
supply corresponds to the voltage shown
in this manual.
■Only use in a standard earthed UK mains
socket.
■Never connect the Plug to the mains
socket with wet hands.
■The Mains Lead should be positioned
so as not to cause an obstruction or to
overhang the edge of the surface, where
it could snagged or pulled by children.
■Ensure that the Mains Lead is not
near any hot surface.
■Unplug the appliance whenever it is not
in use.
■Pull the Plug (never the Mains Lead) to
disconnect from mains socket.
■Never immerse the Mains Cable and Plug
or Potato Peeler Base Unit in water
or any other liquid.
■Never use Potato Peeler if the power
cable, plug or any other part is damaged.
■Never use the appliance for any other
purpose than for which it is intended.
■The appliance should only be used as
instructed: there is potential for injury
from misuse.
■Never put your fingers or any object into
the Bowl when the motor is running or
the Peeling Disk* is rotating.
■Never leave the appliance unattended
when it is operating.
■Never open the appliance whilst it is in
operation.
■Never use any other accessories other
than those included.
■Never use continuously for more than
four minutes and allow ten minute
between each four minute use period.
■Never load with more than 1kg of
potatoes, this will give poor results and
may damage your appliance.
■Never use outdoors.
■Always set theOn/Off Switch to O
(Off) and unplug when not in use.
■Never switch on or attempt to operate
the appliance if it appears to be faulty
in any way - contact Judge Customer

warranty section.
■Never attempt to make any repair to
the appliance yourself - contact Judge
