Thank you for purchasing your new JVC TV.
Your new TV incorporates the latest technology to enhance your viewing
experience. We would suggest that you allow about 15 mins for initial setup.
Please follow this guide for a successful rst time installation.
The latest eco-friendly power-saving technology will switch o the TV if it
is left on and idle for 4 hours. If you wish to switch this feature o go to
SETTINGS - PREFERENCES - AUTO POWER OFF and select OFF.
Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to any local regulations.

Quick Start Guide
Please inspect your TV for damage after unpacking. If
you do notice any damage please consult your dealer.
1. Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match the (+) and ( - ) ends of
the batteries with the (+) and ( - ) ends indicated in the battery compartment.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place. Make sure it clicks into place.
Attaching the Neck
1. Ensure the TV is switched off and not connected to the mains power supply.
2. Keep the protective bag on the TV to protect it. You may need to cut the
protective bag before fitting the stand.
3. Make sure you have some help, this requires 2 people. Lay the TV
down on a flat surface ideally on the edge of a table so the base of the
TV slightly overhangs the edge of the table, with the back side facing
up. Please make sure a soft cushioned material (such as a dry bath towel
or thick piece of foam) is placed beneath the screen. Be very careful
not to knock the edges of the TV, the screen is very fragile.
4. Attach the neck using 4 x screws (A) x 16mm.
The LCD display is very fragile, and must be protected at all times when installing and removing the base stand. Be sure that no hard or sharp object, or
anything that could scratch or damage the LCD display, comes into contact with it. DO NOT exert pressure on the front of the TV at any time because the
screen could crack.

5. Attach the base using 4 x screws (B) x 16mm.
Be careful when attaching the base its heavy.
If you don't have a table big enough, you can
use the TV box. Lie the box flat, make sure you
place the polystyrene back in the box first to
give the box some rigidity and strength.

Do not connect the TV to the mains supply until you have completed all the connections.
Always disconnect the TV from the mains socket when not in use for a long period of time.
The button on the remote control is only used for switching the TV into standby, it does not disconnect the TV from the mains power.
To completely disconnect the mains power, please remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
1. Connect one end of the RF coaxial cable to the aerial socket on the wall and the other end of the cable to the ANT socket on the back of your TV.
2. Plug the TV into a mains socket and switch on at the mains.
3. In standby mode, press the button on the remote control to turn the TV on. The LED indicator will ash for a few seconds then the TV will switch on.

The rst time you switch your TV on it will automatically be in the initial setup mode. This will guide you through the whole setup process of selecting your desired
language, connecting to the internet, signing in to your Amazon account and tuning in TV channels.
Choosing your language
1. Press the buttons to highlight
your LANGUAGE then press the
SELECT button.

automatically pair, but if it hasn’t
press and hold the HOME button to

WIRED Connection
•If you have connected your ethernet cable to the LAN socket on the back of your TV, your TV will automatically connect to the internet. You'll now be asked to
sign in to your Amazon account, go to section 7.
WIRELESS Connection
You can connect using a wireless connection via your router.
1. Your TV will automatically scan for
your wireless network, then show
you a list of networks that its found.
Highlight your network and press
the SELECT button.
2. Enter your Wi-Fi password, then
highlight Connect and press the
SELECT button.
In a second or two your TV will show
Connecton Successful.
3. Press the SELECT button to continue.

WPS Connection - Button
Rather than having to enter your Wireless password, you can select the WPS (BUTTON) option. This will allow you to connect to your router without a password
once the WPS button is pressed on your router.
WPS Connection - Pin Code
Rather than having to enter your Wireless password, you can select the WPS (PIN) option. This will allow you to connect to your router without a password once
the WPS button is pressed on your router.
1. Highlight ‘Connect using WPS Push Button’
and press SELECT.
2. Now press the WPS button on your router
and your TV will connect to your router,
without the use of a password.
1. Highlight ‘Connect using WPS PIN’ and press
SELECT.
2. You’ll see a code on your screen, enter this
code into your router. It may take a minute or
two to connect.
You will now be asked to sign in to your Amazon account, if you don’t already have an account you can set one up on your TV. For more instructions of how to
setup an account refer to your Instruction Manual where you will be shown how to set one up on your TV or you can go to amazon.co.uk/account on another device.
1. With ‘I already have an Amazon account’
highlighted press the SELECT button.
2. Enter the email address that you use with
your Amazon account, then highlight NEXT
and press SELECT.
3. Enter your Amazon Account Password, then
highlight NEXT and press SELECT.
4. Press SELECT to continue.
5. If you would like to save your Wi-Fi password
to your Amazon account with YES highlighted
press SELECT. If you don’t want to save your
Wi-Fi password to your account highlight NO
and press SELECT.
6. If you want to enable Parental Controls you
can at this point or you can do it later. For
detailed instructions on enabling parental
controls see your instruction manual.
Press the SELECT button.

8Select popular apps to download
You can now select all the popular apps that you’d like to download, once selected they will download in the background while your TV is tuning in. You’ll nd 4
categories to choose from. More apps are available once you’ve setup your TV, so you can skip this stage if you like.
1. Highlight ‘CHOOSE APPS’ and press SELECT.
2. Highlight the app(s) that you’d like to download from the ‘POPULAR SERVICES’ section
using the NAVIGATION buttons and press the SELECT button to tick the app(s).
3. Press the NAVIGATION button to move to ‘POPULAR NEWS SERVICES’.
4. Highlight the app(s) that you’d like to download from the ‘POPULAR NEWS SERVICES’
section using the NAVIGATION buttons and press the SELECT button to tick the app(s).
5. Press the NAVIGATION button to move to ‘SPORTS SERVICES’.
6. Highlight the app(s) that you’d like to download from the ‘SPORTS SERVICES’ section
using the NAVIGATION buttons and press the SELECT button to tick the app(s).
7. Press the NAVIGATION button to move to ‘FEATURED SERVICES’.
8. Highlight the app(s) that you’d like to download from the ‘FEATURED SERVICES’ section
using the NAVIGATION buttons and press the SELECT button to tick the app(s).
9. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button, once you’ve ticked all the apps you’d like to download.
10. A list of your selected apps will appear, press SELECT to finish the process. These apps
will not start to download while you tune in your TV.

9Tuning in Your TV
1. To tune in your TV, highlight YES and press SELECT.
3. Select your Country then press SELECT.
If you View TV Through a Set Top Box
If you have attached a Set top box such as Sky/Virgin or BT via a HDMI cable then highlight NO
and press SELECT. This will mean your TV will not try to tune any channels in and will got straight
to the Home page. To view your set top box select the Input that you have connected it to.
2. Make sure your aerial is connected then press SELECT.
4. Select AIR - AUTO SCAN then press SELECT.
5. Your TV will now start scanning for all the
available TV channels.
6. Once the Scan is complete you will see the
number of TV channels found, press SELECT.
7. Your TV is now setup and ready to watch.

Connects to Netix for viewing

Press to watch live TV.
26. APPS Button
Press to access 'Your Apps & Channels'.
27. COLOURED Buttons
• Press the RED button to access Red
button services if available.
• Access the TELETEXT items (LIVE TV
mode).

• Pressing the STANDBY, HOME, SELECT,
ALEXA, PRIME VIDEO, NETFLIX, LIVE
TV, and APPS buttons will turn the TV
on from standby.
• Your remote control should automatically
pair to your TV, but if it didn't press and
hold down BACK, OPTION and (press
3 buttons at the same time) for
10 seconds and it will pair.
